2 /5 Karen Moore: I would have given 5 stars but the front desk receptionist that checked me in was NOT nice at all. I was already having a hard time filling out the intake form and she came over and snatched the form out of my hand along with my drivers license, I was already anxious and nervous and she made my anxiety 10 times worse for not being patient and understanding. The 2 Pflugerville fire department emt that helped with my ekg were absolutely amazing, they were kind and patient and just all around good guys. The ER doctor was great as well, he could see something was wrong but yet he didn’t rush me and was very patient and understanding. The 2 MRI techs who helped me were amazing as well, made the MRI procedure less stressful and more calming. There was a nurse and I believe her name was Kelly, she wasn’t my nurse who was taking care of me but she stopped and asked if I was ok and how I was doing and she didn’t have to do that but she did. The overall experience at Seton ER was good aside from the HORRIBLE and STRESSFUL check in process, if I could skip that part and that particular check in person things would have been a lot better, PLEASE train the front desk on compassion and empathy and respect and being patient with the patients, because that gos a long way.
