2 /5 DJ Davis: Extremely disappointed today- The only reason why this even has two stars is due to the lovely woman that helped me before the office staff did, and Dr. Duncan. I love Dr. Duncan, I had my first through her and it was perfect. Being pregnant with my second we are so excited! I called after setting my first appointment up to let them know that I may be further along than I had said before (a difference in month, and I am dyslexic unfortunately), and they treated me like an idiot until I said I had been with Duncan for 4 years; then proceeded to schedule me for a closer date. That date was today, at 10:30. I had called the office to let them know I may be 5-10 minutes late, and the woman was part of a different office entirely that connected to my Dr office. She specifically told me NOT to leave in case it would be too late for the dr, and proceeded to spend 20 minutes trying to get hold of their front desk to even ASK if it was okay or possible for me to come in a bit late. I ended up leaving just to try to make it to my appointment anyway, and told the woman (I think her name was Sheena. She was lovely) that I would be there by 10:38 am. Sheena and I FINALLY connected to the front desk with Victoria who said they have a “6 minute policy” and nothing available for the rest of the day- and nothing until the week after. So, it can take 20 minutes for you to tell me if I can even come in, and because I’m 2 minutes past your “policy” I cant come in at all. On top of that, no hate to Duncan as I know she’s an amazing and caring doctor who has a lot of patients (which I would also understand the policy for that, again, had it not been literally a 2 minute difference with a 20 minute confirmation), but it usually takes an extra 20 minutes of waiting in the lobby to be seen by ANYONE. I would go somewhere else if I wasn’t so set on having Dr. Duncan be my doctor once again. Please consider changing your policy or at least giving appointments 10 minutes buffer for tardiness or long lobby times.
