My Dads Automotive & Exhaust - Vancouver (WA)

Faith Garcia I found a permanent mechanic for my 1995 Toyota 4 Runner SR5 V6 right here. I bought her in August 2024 and had to try two other shops before finding Rons Auto & RV. This shop is by far the best when it comes to customer service (Jason at the front desk is extremely accommodating and helpful.) When I found out that the mechanic Ryan specialized in working with Toyotas I was extremely happy and hopeful that they could help with the issues I was dealing with for the past few months. Shes obviously a used car and I wanted to make sure that her inner workings were in tip top shape before fixing the mild body damage she had from the previous owner. I spent almost $5,700 at the previous shop on 4 separate visits within 3 months and she was still having her check engine light turn on within 24 hours of picking her up after repairs. When I got her back with her defrost blowing cold air and freezing temperatures set to come for the next few weeks, I knew I had to take her somewhere else. After calling around and trying to find a one stop shop for her inner workings and talking to Jason at Rons Auto & RV, I was convinced I found the shop that I was looking for and they didnt disappoint. Problems that hadnt even been on the past shops radar popped up and they were incredibly thorough with doing full diagnostics and physical inspections that uncovered some serious problems that needed to be addressed asap, because she wasnt even street legal to drive with these current issues. They were amazing with putting together estimates on the work needed and fairly charging me for the labor entailed with each job. A part that had been addressed twice at the other shop was not in working order, a wire that needed to be attached in order for the defrost to work was not attached. They were fantastic with explaining exactly what was going wrong with my car and were honest that one of the jobs might have a secondary issue that could present itself after the repairs. Luckily after the repairs my car has been running wonderfully and the check engine light has not come back on since then. Ill be going back in a few months to get some minor things done and theyll do a thorough courtesy check to make sure nothing else serious needs to be addressed. I even inquired about some recommendations for steps/runners (since shes lifted) and they even told me they could install them there when I decided what I wanted. I have no desire to go anywhere else. The communication, transparency and the pricing are whats going to keep me coming back every time.

Al Lee I just had an oil changed at Valvoline Instant Oil Change....they did not know how to reset the Oil Change light on the dashboard and for some reason the engine light was on. So I decided I would just reset it myself. This was not as easy as I thought. If you own a BMW or Mercedes....find a business that specializes on these vehicles. I called Bavarian Autoworks located in Vancouver. I talked with Jason and he told me to bring the BMW over and he would look at it. They cleared to Oil Change light....and had to do more work to get the engine light off. Apparently, Valvoline in the rush to get you in and out disconnected some hoses that caused the engine light to go on. Jason and his mechanic took the time to plug back in the hoses and made sure everything was good. I was not trying to save money....but because of convenience....I stopped at a Valvoline. Just stupid. Check out Bavarian Autoworks....they are nice people and give them a chance on your service needs. Ill be a customer for life. Thank you again Team Bavarian Autoworks!!!

Scott Peterson This shop was recommended to me by a friend and having taken my wifes Explorer there and explaining to Jim the owner what the issue was he was up front what it would cost to repair it and if anything else popped up he would call me before continuing. After the work was complete the bill was what he said it was with no surprises. Very honest and highly recommended.

CrazyApfel I found myself suddenly in need of an emergency mechanic – here I am, out of town in Portland, OR, and my oil pan is busted. If only someone could come right here, on Memorial Day weekend, and fix it for me so I can go home(yeah right)! He contacted me back, and said he could help. Not only that, but he comes to where you are(no need to have it towed to a shop)! It wasnt an easy fix, but Rick uses all means at his disposal. When it seemed he wasnt going to be able to fix it over the weekend, he prepared to tow it for us. Then, with it on the tow dolly he realized what he could do differently, and fixed it. Theres still a couple things I need my mechanic to do for it to be completely repaired, but Rick & his team took care of me & my son, did locate a new oil pan, put it on, and got it running. I was able to drive it over 200 miles home instead of having it towed. An experience for my son, and my wife and I are very grateful! Rick is an amazing person, keeping his word, and his way is to think of a way to get it done, and do it. If youve ever had a mechanic friend help you by working on your car, its like that. He drove us to a hotel when we had to stay a night, and he is intentional to be affordable. A man with integrity, and he applies that to his business. Robyn Campbell Absolutely amazing service from start to finish! Kevin was extremely friendly, easy to talk to very personable. The mechanic that looked over my vehicle was so thorough. It blew my mind. The inspection alone was amazing as well as the work that was done to My Nissan Xterra took it in for an exhaust leak and they found the problem fixed it. At a very affordable price. Definitely would use them in the future for any other car issues!

Emily Jane Solid & trustworthy! Tyler and his crew are honest, straightforward, and can deal with whatever problem presents. I saw 3 different mechanics prior that could not figure out my battery drain problem, and D&E got me in quick for a quote and did a fantastic job, figured it out and did it for a great price. Ive since got a new rad, some hoses replaced and a list of other issues tended to because I know they care, they will do the best job possible and want to keep you safe while youre on the road. They also give great advice on whatever is going on and go above and beyond to serve there customers. Highly recommend.

Lincoln Wakefield Intended on purchasing a set of tires, MY BAD- they were the wrong size. Super friendly, great communication, quick to respond- all around GREAT service. Again, the wrong tire size was my fault.

Merry Berry If you are looking for an honest, reliable place to get car repairs or oil changes in Vancouver, I highly recommend Cascade Park Automotive. Its always nerve-wracking choosing a new car repair shop, but the owner, Justin, was upfront with me about what needs to be fixed now vs. what might need to be fixed down the road. He will not try to sell you on anything you dont need like so many other repair shops. Justin will save you money, and on top of that, he is communicative and courteous. Skip the chains and support this local business.

Drc Knowledgable, honest and trustworthy! Used them for the second time with my older Dodge Ram diesel truck that had some cooling problems. They could have taken me to the cleaners but the system checked out good and the fix was simple and minor. Strongly recommend them!
