I didn’t want to spend a lot as it is a second vehicle and I wanted the assurances of a dealer inspected vehicle vs a private seller. I worked with Andreas and he understood what I was looking for - didn’t push anything on me or try to upsell me. He proactively reached out when a vehicle that was a perfect fit came into their inventory. I would say he really understood what I was looking for and worked to meet them vs a hard sell. He kept the process streamlined and my time inside the dealership minimal. There was a minor issue with the jeep before I took it home - delaying my pickup at the last minute, and the team handled it well by putting me in a loaner for a few days and were as accommodating to me as if I were buying a full loaded new vehicle.

Nowon These guys are the guys you want to tow your car if it’s lowered, modified, or expensive car you’d want taken care of the way you would on the way to the shop. I was denied by cars plus as they said it would be a loss of money for them, but these awesome guys came to the rescue and took amazing care of my vehicle as if it was his own brought all the right tool for the job and everything. Not to mention how professional, helpful and careful he was with my vehicle. Even called me when he got to the shop because it was closed an wanted to make sure it was okay to leave it where he did. Amazing service thank you dukes would’ve been stranded if it wasn’t for you guys.

Finally I stumbled onto Junior at Specialty Motors and not only did he fix it, he charged less money than I expected. Nice, honest guy, easy to work with!

The Real Deal 12401 I would like to tell you guys about this establishment in how much I highly recommend using them for all your car care needs. Yesterday while I had an appointment at another garage to get my car service for brakes. The mechanic where was supposed to go cancelled on me at last minute. I called Juan At auto Tech And asked at if he had any available appointments because my brakes were grinding really bad. As always he is very professional and polite on the phone very thorough. He said absolutely Liz bring your car over and I will fix it. As always Jaun Makes time for his customers no matter what hes doing he makes time for his customers. If I could I would give his shop 10 stars because they are the best shop in town I highly recommend going to this garage if you need your car service the right way. Also with the fact that he is willing to work with you financially with all your car care needs. Is an a plus in my book. Also for those of you with small children he does have childrens toys and also Has childrens cartoons and things so keep your child busy while your getting your car service which is another a plus in my book. Kate Schermerhorn I am furious that my life was put in danger by Albany Avenue Truck and Trailers lack of care. They installed extenders on the rear 4 tires of my camper, but they installed them incorrectly, didnt tighten them properly, and shoved the extenders into the tires carelessly, causing both my left rear tires to blow out at once on Interstate 90 (where there was no shoulder), just a day after picking up the camper from Albany Avenue. Thankfully no one was hurt, but it was a terrifying, cost me a fortune plus 4 hours on the side of the highway, and it was 100% the fault of their carelessness. When I tried to contact them to tell them what happened, and at least get a refund, they didnt even bother to get back in touch.

19 Main Warning: Stay Away from Albany Ave Truck My experience with Albany Ave Truck & Trailer was nothing short of a nightmare. Be cautious and think twice before considering their services. We brought our truck in for a transmission cooler line repair, which would cost approx. $2k. However, Albany Ave Truck turned it into a whopping $10,000 bill by tacking on unauthorized repairs for breaks and routers. The owners attitude is appalling. I would expect any shop, before performing a $10,000 repair, to obtain approval and confirm the customer has the funds prior to any work. When I questioned the exorbitant charges, he callously admitted to operating without bothering to seek customer approval. His exact words were, "I dont have time or the manpower to call the customer for approval before we do any work on a truck." To make matters worse, when I tried to discuss the astronomical bill, the owners response was a blunt ultimatum: pay in full or they would keep my truck. No room for negotiation, no attempt at customer service – just a hang-up. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this garage. I wouldnt wish this experience on anyone. See attached Invoice

gordon depuey Dennis Raskin did a terrific job supervising the servicing of my Honda Civic yesterday. There was an elusive rattle in the car, for which he pinpointed the source. This entailed an initial drive with me to hear the noise, a consultation with a senior mechanic at the shop to suggest the appropriate repair, a test drive by himself to evaluate the repair, and a final confirmatory test drive with me. He kept me very well informed through the entire process. Very friendly, courteous, professional services!

John Drewes Our service advisor, Susan Kelly, was instrumental in getting our car in for servicing promptly. She answered any questions we had about our vehicle. She also made sure our windshield washer fluid was topped off before we left. Susan is always very professional, polite, and understanding when it comes to any concern we may have with our vehicle. Lia Honda of Kingstons service department is top-notch. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Kimberly Gates After a collision with a TURKEY,( yes you read that right) and having "just" purchased my vehicle, I was more than upset. This establishment went above and beyond the entire process. I cannot say enough positive things about customer service, timely repair and the amazing job these folks did. They certainly did an amazing job.

Lynann Zehnick After being rear ended I took my vehicle to Caliber as I heard they do a good job. After having my vehicle for only two weeks I received it back without any signs of being in an accident. The body work right down to the paint job was amazing. They did a great job in a timely manner and everyone was very pleasant to talk to/deal with.

Bryan Blas Brought in my vintage car for repair on the manual transmission and linkage. He spent some time on it but he really didnt know what he was doing because I had to find a fabricator-machine shop to fix what he couldnt. While my car was in his shop, without my permission, he used my car for advertising his business. Then, he tells me how much it would cost for his partial repairs. It was a fortune! I refused to pay this amount and offered a more reasonable sum. He took it but expected me to pay the balance and I refused to pay. When I told him about his using my car for his personal advertising without my permission which meant I could sue him for it, I got my car back, but he kept every book and manual I provided for him to help him with my car. He still has them. Hes a real piece of work so avoid him at all costs.

Lorena S Brenn Auto is the Best in town!! I brought in my 2006 VW beetle. The car needed extensive work. First I brought the car into Romeo VW here in Kingston, well, that was a bad idea. They were no help at all. I am a woman that knows about cars. Well, after about 3 weeks, at Brenn, I got the car back and its running like its new. It was a little pricey, but you get what you pay for!!!Thank you again to all the great mechanics at Brenn Automotive!

matt samalin My opinion and experiences: bottom line stay away at all costs I have many stories but safe to say the service center is filled with really shady people running it. We have been treated very poorly. One example: They have acknowledged a major problem with my car but told me because it is “common” they cannot help me further. I have a family and it is brake related-just unconscionable. Another: they tried to upswell my wife on a “diagnostic charge” of 160 to tell us what our check engine light code pertains to. I have many more stories. For the record I bought our car and serviced it exclusively with them-and they still couldn’t care less. They seem to ONLY care about volume and turnover and have so much business you are just worthless to them. I’ve reached out to the owner several times directly and he has never responded. I beg you find anywhere else to go-you’ve been warned.
