Pete Larson Great shop, my daughter is a student at UTD and is all alone in Plano. She had some car issues and having heard how great of a shop Fifth Gear is she set an appointment. Their drop off location is super convenient for her. Once they inspected the vehicle they were able to send me pictures and videos so I could understand and make an educated decision on what to do. Jake was very helpful and worked with me to make sure she was safe and how to proceed repairing the vehicle. I feel much better now knowing she has a shop she can count on to keep her older car running. Thanks again.

Elizabeth Atkin Really great experience at this location. The team, Dylan specifically, did a great job explaining the issues with my vehicle and options for moving forward. I felt at ease with Dylan’s honesty. Even though it is company policy not to remove the diagnostic cost even if you’re getting repairs done there, they worked with me to help me find coupons and other ways of reducing my overall charge. I am grateful, loving my car, and I will be back!

James Randle I have used Economy Transmission several times over the last 10-15yrs. It was recommended to me a long time ago and since then I have recommended them to other friends and co-workers. Recently I had to use them again and the same quality service and professionalism I remember exists. Their pricing has always been reasonable and they will break down all the costs. It was nice to see after using them for many years that they are still operating the same way. If you’re looking for an honest and reliable repair shop, they are the best around.

paras shah I went there just to get a second opinion because I had some doubts about some oil leaks I saw at the parking area. Those guys did a thorough inspection and told me there was no oil leak and did not charge a penny for doing the inspection. Only a day before at another car shop, I was told a number of issues in my car which was causing that oil leak and I paid good amount of money just for the inspection. Definitely will come back for any other car related issues.

Jenn Verna He did a tune up on our Durango. Quoted us below everyone else, would highly recommend. A mom and pop type shop, just an honest guy, making an honest living. Fair warning, he only takes cash (to my knowledge), not a deal breaker, but we didnt know at first. He even helped install a switch that had stopped on us with minimal extra charge. Hes won my business.
