Brooklyn V Wonderful church and amazing pastor who is very relatable, I enjoyed the service entirely. The only thing that alarmed me was seeing men worship leaders with colored nail polish. Not here to judge but it’s quite questionable to have people up front representing the church and kingdom of God in a such a way there should be a certain standard but overall service was great!

Also, if you can get inside, there is a seat in the church with a plaque - Abraham Lincoln attended services here. As far as I know, he was the only sitting President to visit Brooklyn.

katie dwyer Walking through the doors to the choir was what I imagine Heaven to be like. I was brought up Catholic, but after truly giving my life to Christ I felt uneasy in my spirit while in Catholic mass. I felt too much idolatry and its repetitive nature felt like just going through the motions. At First Baptist I truly felt the presence of God his children here. I was moved to tears multiple times during their Father’s day service. I was greeted by many members and welcomed with open arms. It truly feels like a tight knit community and everything I have been yearning for in a church. Blessed to find this home.

Vlad The church is welcoming with a strong sense of community and supportive leadership. Services are meaningful, blending traditional elements with modern relevance. On the positive side, the air conditioning ensures a comfortable environment, although it can occasionally feel a bit too cold for some attendees. My experience from last Sunday was positive; the sermon was inspiring, and the music, with an awesome singer, was uplifting, creating a warm atmosphere despite the cooler temperature.
