St. Lydias

Carl Petter Opsahl St. Lydia is a relatively small Lutheran community in Brooklyn. Every Sunday and Monday they celebrate Dinner worship, an eucharistic meal with songs and prayers. There is an low key, welcoming atmosphere here that makes you at home. The meals are delicious, and the people working there are wonderful.

Our Lady of Angels Church

Vlad The church is welcoming with a strong sense of community and supportive leadership. Services are meaningful, blending traditional elements with modern relevance. On the positive side, the air conditioning ensures a comfortable environment, although it can occasionally feel a bit too cold for some attendees. My experience from last Sunday was positive; the sermon was inspiring, and the music, with an awesome singer, was uplifting, creating a warm atmosphere despite the cooler temperature.

V1 Church - Brooklyn

rossi kissoon I’ve been searching for a church for the past few months, and last Sunday, I finally visited V1 for the first time. I went alone and was a little nervous, but from the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed. It felt as if I had known everyone there for years, and more importantly, I truly felt the presence of God in that place. I’m so grateful to have found a church that accepts me just as I am. Highly recommend!

Stuyvesant Heights Christian

Starlica Reiné This is my favorite church of all time. Spectacular and friendly church members who treats every new comer like family. The pastor is personable and caring. I cannot explain it, but the Holy Spirit definitely moves in through here. I was sad when I moved away, as this place has been a staple through my tough times. I am constantly looking for a church that is similar. Hopefully will find something that stands up to this congregation. A truly blessed place.

Park Slope Community Church

Shawn ODriscoll Authentic, Genuine & Caring leadership and congregation with solid biblical teaching of scripture combined with compassionate application of the Word of God to our "neighbors", the community around the church. They model brotherly love, rather than commanding it. We were visiting for a friends baptism, but we would join this church if we moved to Brooklyn. Our friends, said, "This is what I imagined church is supposed to be like"
