What Clients Are Saying Park Slope Community Church (GG)
5 /5 Shawn ODriscoll: Authentic, Genuine & Caring leadership and congregation with solid biblical teaching of scripture combined with compassionate application of the Word of God to our "neighbors", the community around the church. They model brotherly love, rather than commanding it. We were visiting for a friends baptism, but we would join this church if we moved to Brooklyn. Our friends, said, "This is what I imagined church is supposed to be like"
5 /5 Khun Jay: Informal modern worship experience in a beautiful historic church building. The congregation is international, multiculteral and diverse, comprised of mostly 20 and 30 somethings. Sunday school for children. Welcoming to newcomers like me. The pastor is young and enthusiastic about preaching the gospel, reading the scriptures and applying Gods Word to your life. Highly recommend. Currently meeting in person inside, with coffee and bagels outside afterward. You can also stream the Sunday morning service online from their website. Highly recommend!
5 /5 Tiffanie Terry: This has been my church home for over a year now, and it is a wonderful church that truly has a heart for Jesus! The people are very welcoming, the music and sermons are just what Im looking for, and theyve done a great job keeping people healthy and safe during Covid (closed at first with virtual services, and currently doing both virtual and in-person with masks required and socially distant seating).
4 /5 Lillian Lopez: LOVE this church and my church family. We have a multi cultural congregation from infants to senior citizens. Lots of opportunities to meet people and have fun.
Pastors Logan and Rob are very caring and teach the Holy Bible in ways to understand the Word, and how to apply it to our life journeys and personal development as Christian disciples.
1 /5 num nom: Community is very divided, some members weren’t welcoming towards me. Would recommend going to a new church.
katie dwyer Walking through the doors to the choir was what I imagine Heaven to be like. I was brought up Catholic, but after truly giving my life to Christ I felt uneasy in my spirit while in Catholic mass. I felt too much idolatry and its repetitive nature felt like just going through the motions. At First Baptist I truly felt the presence of God his children here. I was moved to tears multiple times during their Father’s day service. I was greeted by many members and welcomed with open arms. It truly feels like a tight knit community and everything I have been yearning for in a church. Blessed to find this home.
Vlad The church is welcoming with a strong sense of community and supportive leadership. Services are meaningful, blending traditional elements with modern relevance. On the positive side, the air conditioning ensures a comfortable environment, although it can occasionally feel a bit too cold for some attendees. My experience from last Sunday was positive; the sermon was inspiring, and the music, with an awesome singer, was uplifting, creating a warm atmosphere despite the cooler temperature.
Hugh Wilson This church became as family to me. So welcoming. I was a stranger in a strange land, and the church were amazingly supportive, encouraging, friendly, welcoming, open and appreciative.
I will be ever thankful for the relationships formed, the prophetic words, the preaching, the love for worship, the food!
Great people serving God together.
Nicholas T Francis The presence of God in this place will change your life. Come and experience a mighty move of God in the prophetic and word. Your life will never be the same.
Jonathan Kumar First time visitor today, absolutely loved it. You can tell very quickly that this place is about people/community, not a singular person/leader.
