1 /5 Wesley Paugh: They robbed me of $550 by double-charging for memberships because signing up for a yearly membership on their site did not cancel an existing monthly membership. I was willing to allow the overcharge to be credited to another member (personally, I had no use for a credit, because I was committed to leaving the gym by this point). In response, they claimed they could transfer the balance, but only to a new member.
Obviously theres no technical reason they couldnt transfer credit to an existing member, they just wanted me to promote their gym and recruit a new member for them rather than correct what is very clearly an error by their faulty sales systems. Its an appalling lack of respect and a blatantly underhanded compromise. Their offer was disrespectful and conniving through and through, and their reply here to this review addresses nothing.
They gym itself has a good range of machines, but they are old and rusted to the point where a few have limited range of motion. Despite bragging about upgrades for a year, almost nothing improved.
Their guest policy is also pretty poor and overly-complicated compared to other 24 hour chains.
