Ben Blythe We absolutely love this church. The community is incredible. Both of our boys are loved on each Sunday and look forward to their mornings with the Athens Church volunteers. Our oldest who has autism is cared for by a great group of leaders who are able to adapt to his needs and make each Sunday a great experience for him.

Amanda Wise Great church to go to if you’re looking to build a strong relationship with Christ. Everything they preach comes from the Bible, and they always have lots of events going on to get/stay involved! They’re very welcoming of anyone and there’s an especially large amounts of teens/young adults (12-35) that are involved and seem excited to live for God. Definitely recommend Athens Victory Chapel for anyone from any background!

Oliver Booker I do not attend this church, but I am an Episcopalian and I also come here once a week for rehearsals with the Athens Master Chorale. I do know from discussions with others that this is a very welcoming and open church. A great Episcopal Church in my opinion!

Dez Partlow-Greer Pastor Sammy literally went above and beyond to make sure myself and my husband felt welcome. He took time out of his schedule to send me a welcome video. We came on a Sunday as well where they did a meet, and greet which was nice. We were able to talk with the pastor and his wife Brittany. We even saw some familiar faces which was nice. You are greeted in the parking lot, and when you get in the church. Also there’s free coffee. I love the small intimate feel. The church is held at the Athens cotton mill. Pastor Sammy said they come in early every Sunday, and set up the church. That’s impressive.

Phillips Karen The people here are very warm and accepting. The childrens ministry is fantastic. Weve made many good friends here. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a moderate church that has women in leadership roles.

Bob Capes Right now I feel like a long time orphan who just got adopted by an awesome loving family! Cant wait till next Sunday! My son, who normally doesnt enjoy going to church, said it best as we walked out after our first visit today. We just found our new church!
