Offering masses in English, Spanish and Latin, you have several masses to choose from. Ben Blythe We absolutely love this church. The community is incredible. Both of our boys are loved on each Sunday and look forward to their mornings with the Athens Church volunteers. Our oldest who has autism is cared for by a great group of leaders who are able to adapt to his needs and make each Sunday a great experience for him.

Natalia Ellis This was our first actual church many years ago. We also got married here. So many wonderful people. We miss them terribly. We moved to another state, but if we ever moved back to Athens this is where we would be.

Britt Shewbridge I love my church! Truth, Love, and Diversity - these are our pillars! Truth: the Word of God is preached with bold faith. Love: we come alongside one another and encourage each other in our pilgrimages with God! We love God and love people! Diversity: I always brag on our church for this. You will see and be friends with people of all colors and all nations. I eat often after church with the Philippino Fellowship and the African fellowship! Andrew Gross This is a fantastic church with a very sound doctrine. If you Are looking for something more traditional and less of what the mega churches have the offer, this is the perfect place for you. They greeted me warmly when I arrived. They introduced themselves. They helped me get involved with community groups that they had to offer. The music was intimate and sweet. The pastor who preached did a fantastic job keeping the congregation interested. I will continue to return to this place because it is truly what my heart needed.

B Gary (G) I love NCWC, Pastor David always has a good message to bring before the church, he is a understanding person and has time to listen to what you have to say, or what youre going through . Pastor David the whole church family loves you, keep bringing the word for those that are thirsty for the word. Great job

Cindy Nixon They have a nice service, they offer a clothes closet & food bank on wed only. They also have a day care monday-Friday. The people there are very nice.

Emilie I started going to this church regularly during the peak of the pandemic in 2020. They were meeting under a tent and requiring masks as a Covid precaution, as well as live-streaming the service. For a long time, I was one of the streamers, and didnt go in person. Once I was fully vaccinated, I began attending in person (my own decision - vaccination is not required to attend Calvary!). Now we meet inside, and masks are no longer required (but they are welcomed if you choose to wear one - I frequently do so). In the building or under the tent, this church has a vibrant glow about it, and you can tell its just somehow a little more alive than many other churches you may have been to in the past. Im a huge fan of the relaxed, family feel of this church, the involvement in the community, and of the diversity within the doors. You can come to Calvary wearing whatever you want - traditional clothes from your home country, a suit or dress, or jeans and a t-shirt. Youll be surrounded by a congregation that is diverse in age, race, and nationality. Ive never seen anyone look out of place. Pastor Thomas preaches the truth from Scripture in a relatable way that is honest, down to earth, and incredibly genuine about the human struggles we all go through and how walking with Jesus should impact our daily lives. And then Calvary works together to put this into practice and to encourage service within the church and in the community itself. I could go on, but it would be best if you just experienced Calvary for yourself. Check the website for current service times, and come visit us! Susie Thrasher My family attended Christmas Eve services at Saint Stephen’s. It was so inspirational and beautiful we were overwhelmed. The choir did a magnificent job. The Eucharist was delivered in a reverent and meaningful way. Thank you St Stephen’s family
