Alisa Townley We love this church. As a young family we were quickly welcomed when we originally began attending, and when we came back our second week, people remembered our names! This was a huge deal to us, and is only one example of the effort this community puts in to love on people and be the hands and feet of Jesus in Athens. We enjoy the scripture based sermons and feel like this church is one where learning more about and following Christ is the utmost intention.

Bernie Hockman Great place to worship for singles, young families and older adults. Has a close family feel to it that is easy for anyone to fit in.

Jessica Dieterle Ppl were so welcoming and friendly, everyone gets together alot and meet for lunch after, they have a heart for ppl and helping change their lives!!! Loved it, very comfortable and felt as if l were home!

Elizabeth Prata This church features strong Gospel expositional preaching, confessional devotionals with emphasis on repentance, and brotherly love to one another in small group and large group fellowship. Its doctrinally solid, led by loving and mature elders. The preaching is thrilling because it adheres to closely to the word of God exalted and explained. I highly recommend this church!

dmlevitt I live by Ebenezer Baptist and love to hear the sermon and the music every Sunday echoing through Cobbham. a great way to start the day. What a treat! Fantastic people. love to all.

Ben Blythe We absolutely love this church. The community is incredible. Both of our boys are loved on each Sunday and look forward to their mornings with the Athens Church volunteers. Our oldest who has autism is cared for by a great group of leaders who are able to adapt to his needs and make each Sunday a great experience for him.

Amanda Wise Great church to go to if you’re looking to build a strong relationship with Christ. Everything they preach comes from the Bible, and they always have lots of events going on to get/stay involved! They’re very welcoming of anyone and there’s an especially large amounts of teens/young adults (12-35) that are involved and seem excited to live for God. Definitely recommend Athens Victory Chapel for anyone from any background!
