She was so friendly and checked in throughout the service to ensure it met expectations. The salon itself is stunningly styled— a perfect spot to go with friends or for a special occasion. I’m already excited to come back.

I’m so happy with my nails- they are the healthiest and longest they’ve ever been & the gel always looks super natural. Highly highly recommend! Don’t go to another salon in North Beach, the quality of the products here and the attention to detail is worth every penny.

Chelsea This is the longest lasting, highest quality manicures I have ever had. I am entering my third week of a chip-free, still perfectly shiny and new looking dip manicure. Keep in mind Ive not been gentle on my nails, Ive cooked and done the dishes every night plus went skiing for six days and took off my kids ski boot about 50 times and not once did it even chip a corner. I dont know how she does it! 100% will return.

I gave Tracy some photos and she was able to make my fingers look even better than the photos! They were also meticulous about cleaning and trimming every micron of my cuticles, and yet somehow there was no redness or bleeding! I did nail tips, but she made them look incredibly natural and smooth—and she gave me tips for how to gradually grow out my nails so someday I won’t need tips. The pedicure was also great! I almost hesitate to leave a review as I want to keep this place to myself. But I can’t be selfish! Thank you!

Alice Huang Tracy gave me the best dip + gel manicure I’ve ever had — she had so much attention to detail and even placed individual big glitter pieces on my nails to make them shine more. The price was also more affordable than most other places I’ve been to, especially for the quality. 10/10!!

Emily Chen Update: the owner apologized to me, offered a complimentary gel manicure, and shared that the lady who scarred my face got fired. I’m glad she tried to make things right and I will continue to go here for my nails. I’ve been going here for years and the nails have generally been high quality with a wide selection of colors. However, I was disappointed with how the staff handled things when they messed up. I usually get my eyebrows done by the owner (Tracy). Another lady did mine and took a huge chunk off my skin - leaving a permanent big scar above my eye that I’ve had for months. When I told the owner about the damage the day after, she suggested I must’ve made the scar myself. This felt offensive given I had photo proof from an hour after the waxing and am a long-time customer who tips well. She reluctantly gave me a refund ($14) - but this doesn’t even begin to cover the damage from a permanent big scar on my face. I hope they retrain the lady who did this to me - especially since she had messed up my eyebrows once before already. I was very surprised how they treated me given I was a good long time customer. The staff are generally nice, but may not be when it matters.

Anna Y I live at the bottom of Potrero Hill and do not mind walking up a steep hill to get to La Petite. And come on, can’t beat the view while you’re getting pampered! I never have any complaints about the service, the polish application for pedicures are always immaculate. When I do get a chance to add a manicure, I appreciate that they have Dazzle Dry brand for extra longevity without needing to go the gel route. Charlene, Annie and the other techs do amazing work for my poor tired feet. I’m not someone who has the time or budget to come very often, but everyone always treats me like a valued regular. And whenever I do get myself in, all the other chairs are full, everyone is relaxed and getting the same familiar treatment from the staff too. I love this nail shop!

Gretchen I was desperate for some self care and took a chance for a walk in appt here after seeing the reviews. Believe the hype! This was such a great spot...more than the typical nail salon. They are friendly and do an amazing job. I highly recommend it. Its worth the price. But def make an appointment, because they are usually booked! (Apparently I was really lucky today!)

The studio decor is beautiful and I’m always given a warm cup of herbal tea to start which makes the experience so comforting. Deanna has been my go to for my manicures. She has a great attention to detail and does an amazing job of matching the base to my skin tone. She’s always so patient with helping me decide on what direction to go with for colors and style choices and I’m always thrilled with the end results. The overall design comes out better than I envisioned each time!

Sanchi Arora Good pedicure. Manicure was rushed and tech did not soak nails or apply any cuticle serum before cutting cuticles. This resulted in a painful process and many left cuticles on the nails. Would not recommend this place due to unprofessional customer service

Shona O Dea My favourite nail spot in the Bay Area! Super clean and nice massage chairs. They have a huge range of nail colours. They are super friendly and welcoming and always try fit you into their schedule. It’s the only nail salon I’ve been to where they appreciate how much of a ‘big decision’ picking a nail color is lol. They’re super helpful if you’re looking to find a specific shade and even accommodate nail art requests!

Andrea Lu I came to Sensei for a mani/pedi and everyone was extremely nice the entire appointment. Both ladies doing my mani/pedi were so attentive and amazing at what they do. I asked for a design on my nails, and they took their time to ensure everything looked perfect. She even started over on my nail when she realized the pattern wasn’t quite right and got a new brush to make sure the lines were correct. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Lauren Forst This has to be the best salon I’ve been to in years, having lived around the country and visiting various salons. I live in South Bay now and it’s worth making the trip to Inner Sunset for this salon. The technicians are knowledgeable and take their time; a gel pedicure, alone, will run you about 2 hours, and if you add a gel manicure you’ll have another technician work simultaneously on your hands. The technicians thoughtfully address concerns with callouses, ingrowns, etc as part of their standard pedicure. I leave feeling cared for, and like I got my money’s worth. You won’t regret coming here for your next mani + pedi services.

P The manicurist here do a great job, and are detailed oriented. I came to get a manicure with my friend and we were both very pleased with the final result. My only complaint is that they didnt let me know about an up-charge until it was too late to back up. Overall they are very nice and I would recommend coming here. Make sure to make an appointment because they are very popular in the area.

Arielle Broussard I’ve been here multiple times and had great experiences in the past. However, my most recent visit was a huge disappointment. It only took 30 minutes for my gel nails which worried me but I thought they’d be fine. These are my gel nails after only 7 days. Two nails on my left hand also chipped after just 2 days. With so many salons in SF, I can’t go back to a place where my nails are this bad after only a week.

Angela Yang Amazing gel manicures in the Haight! The staff here is really nice and knowledgeable. I’ve gotten gel manicures with chrome powder, and they’ve turned out stunning! My gel manicure lasted me 3 weeks with no chipping or peeling. I’m sure it could have lasted longer but I wanted a refresh! I especially appreciate that they are detail-oriented and efficient. The salon is clean and comfortable to sit in and very conveniently located. Definitely stop by for a manicure!

Sabrina Robinson I came in with a ton of nail design ideas and Michelle was amazing without much notice! She did a fill in with builder gel and hand painted new designs. Ive had a difficult time finding nail artists in the city that are willing to do longer less natural designs and Michelle just hit it out of the ball park first try. However, I also got my gel polish removed here and she only used the nail drill, no soak, and wasn’t very careful because she removed a significant amount of my nail in the process. Now they’re very weak and hurt. I’ve had to cut them very short to prevent them from bending.

Heather Pujals Called on a Wednesday and got a convenient same-day appointment for gel mani-pedi. The staff was very friendly and I felt welcome. The service took about 1 hour total and I’m super happy with the results! There was some hand/arm massage, foot exfoliation, and a foot wax, which all felt nice. I’ll be back. Btw I had gel on my toes (from another salon) and regular glitter paint on my hands and they removed both without an extra charge. My total charge was $76 (slight cash discount — I was quoted $80 over the phone, which I assume is for credit cards).

Joan Alley My sister and I made a last minute appointment and we wanted paraffin. We were happy to find out that they have a special until 2 $35 for mani AND pedi Monday thru Thursday. The paraffin is $10, well worth it. Very comfy and clean and they are friendly and do a great job! We will be back!

Jen Trent I really wanted to like this place. I even drove about 10 minutes to get there. Upon walking in there was only 1 other patron. They told me to pick my color and I was rushed to come to take a seat so I settled with what I had in my hand. The price for a "regular" mani-pedi was $35, which is a pretty good price, but they only did the bare minimum basics. They might have scrubbed my feet once - back and forth. No massage as advertised. I also asked for a callus treatment which was $10 extra, which they charged me for, but did not get. I wish I said something when he said my total was $45. The paraffin wax was on my feet for maybe 2 minutes before she took it off and rushed to paint my toes. When I was leaving, I asked that she clean up the polish around my toes, especially my pinky toes, because it really looked like I painted them myself, with the polish all over my skin. Youll see in the picture how much she got off my skin. She did ask if I like the color when she painted one of my fingernails, in which I didnt. Luckily I chose another color for my toes and just had her use that because when I asked for a different color (purple), she said, oh this is purple - but it was more of a deep pink. So I settled and also didnt say anything. The total time that they spent from start to finish painting my nails was under 30 min. I expected at least 45 minutes. They also were not too friendly and welcoming, and I believe I am and always greet and talk with people. Even though this service was poor, I still tipped 20%. I wish I did not. Im still going to give them 2 stars, as this is a small business, but I really think my rating should be a 1 star.

Right from the beginning she kept saying I need to rush for the next person. She made me feel guilty getting the service. Marc Fernandez WORST HAIRCUT EVER. STAY AWAY. Im a guy with thick wavy hair and had been growing it out from a buzz cut for the past 6 months. My goal was to get to a layered shoulder length 70s kinda cut and I was half way there. I went to this salon in Potrero Hill because it was near my house and had a good haircut review from a guy. When I got to the salon, I was promptly seated and showed the stylist 3 different photos of my goal style/length, and reiterated I just wanted a minor trim to the ends and especially did not want the length over the ears or neck cut any shorter since it was finally getting past that awkward stage. The first thing she did was start cutting the hair falling over an ear. I stopped her and should have walked out then. She then recommended using thinning scissors which she said would not take away length and still give the layers I was looking for. Within 5min, she had randomly cut into my hair so much that it literally looked like I was going bald. Anywhere I parted my hair, I had a whole line of tiny jagged hairs sticking straight up. I stood up mid cut, paid $30 and walked to a barber down the street where they said the only recourse was to use a 1" clipper all over my head. I am now back to square one. 6 months of getting through the awkward stage gone in 5min. I know its just hair and Im fortunate this is a big enough problem in my life that Im taking the time to write this but hopefully it keeps someone from a horrible haircut experience at La Fleur Hair & Nail Spa

Ruya Latif Le Fleur is my absolute go-to nail salon for over two years now, and I cant get enough of it! Its a charming family business, and Teresa, the owner, is a true artist when it comes to nail designs. The place is always spick and span, creating such a cozy vibe. From gel manicures with intricate designs to ombre and cat eye nails, every experience leaves me thrilled. The longevity of their gel is impressive, lasting a solid 4-5 weeks. Considering the high-quality service and the reasonable prices, Le Fleur truly stands out in San Francisco.

Sam Gamble This was my first time at La Fleur. I live in the neighborhood and heard good things. I had a really complicated request for a design and Anna worked so hard to mimic my reference. She really went above and beyond! Im very happy with her work. I literally got compliments barely an hour after walking out the door. Ill definitely come back next time I need a manicure.

Amadeus I didn’t have time to get my nails done before I left for vacation. On the plane I researched salons and found this one and decided to try and see if they had time for a walk-in. The woman at the front very kindly found space for me later that day. Everyone was very nice, and the gel manicure with one acrylic fix (had a broken nail) was solid, and felt worth the price to me.

The owner was incredibly friendly and kind, offering me water and even asking if I’d like a warm neck pillow for my neck. Cherry, the nail artist, was absolutely spot-on with my requests. She delivered exactly what I wanted with impressive speed and efficiency. Plus, the pricing was very reasonable compared to other salons. I’ll definitely be returning—this salon just gained a loyal new customer!

Rhiannon Payne I’ve been going to The MUSE for a few years. Lately I’ve been getting hard gel with cat eye or interesting French tips. They do amazing work!

Ace Elliott-Hernandez Been going here for over a year and have had nothing but great service. I bring in the wildest designs and the ladies at Muse are always willing to work with me. My gel x lasts about a month, and my gel pedicures even longer. Highly recommend!

ES Had to come in to get my disastrous nails taken care of and was in love with the photos on their Instagram. Easily accessible location with street spots and a nearby paid lot. Tons of polish brands to choose from including a couple vegan varieties! I came for a soak off + new Gel X set ($80) with nail art in 4 colors ($40) + lip wax ($12). One woman took care of everything but the nail art — Lynn took over for that and *killled it.* My nails look just like my reference photo. She did my wax as well and all products used smelled so good. $130 before tip and well worth it! My only suggestion is that they get a nail table/desk or try a new method as a ton of nail dust got on me throughout my visit. Not a huge deal to me, as I’ll definitely be back for my next set, but could be a turn off to others!
