Kristin Woods I highly recommend this barber shop. The shop is always clean and the staff is friendly. My son gets his hair cuts from Jose. He is professional, personable and is great with kids, he has trimmed my hair too. To be honest I wish the local beauty salons gave as much care as they do. I have noticed everyone there takes their time to make sure they get the job done right!

Joseph Cecchini Worth the Drive. Steph is the best. The crew here seems to be making many customers satisfied. My wife loves the way my hair looks after Steph does his work. A true master at his craft. This place is a modern version of an old time Barber Shop, sit in the chair, get a cut have a good time.

Jessica Rivera I came here after reading the positive reviews and thought it would be great to try somewhere new that offers affordable prices. HUGE mistake. I kid you not, it looks like a 5 yr old cut my hair. The layers are ridiculously uneven. The front isnt even angled, she basically just cut straight across and one side is shorter than the other. If only I could post pictures because this cut is beyond horrifying and I wasnt able to notice it until I straightened my hair. She may be nice but she is horrible at cutting hair/layers. I literally cant wear my hair down at all until it grows out long enough to make everything even which will take nearly a year as my hair grows slow. DONT COME HERE!

The second time i came back almost a half year later it was $90 for the same coloring and $25 for a touch up which means it would be $115. I didnt bother to do a touch up because of the fee

DD Starks I contacted this salon and received a call back from the owner to explain what I was wanting. She stated she could do the appointment as I mentioned I am African American. I advised her that I would send her a pic, for reference of my hair type. I sent vid. No response. I called twice no response. I called from another phone and of course she answered! Saying without saying the “R” word. Simply pathetic. The nerve of her! Do better lady(owner)!

georyana morales I went in today to get my done the lady who did my hair told me a price at first, but charged me extra to blow dry my hair. That has never happened to me any where else! She didn’t communicate the extra cost that she charged when I set up my appointment. And I have never been charged extra to blow dry my hair after getting my hair dyed. I was a first time client but I won’t be coming back to this salon. My hair color that I walked out with wasn’t even the color that I showed the lady. If you can’t do a service or charge extra you should communicate that from the beginning!

Color Meditation Just took my 7 year old in for his first pro cut. JP was amazing. He joked around with the little and made him laugh. Quick, clean cut. We will definitely be returning! Parents, take your kids here!!

Tom Remlinger J. P. has been a barber in Vallejo for 25 years. I always go during the work week to get the same great haircut at the senior rate. You also get free commentary on your favorite sport team (dont turn your head if he disagrees with your admiration of your team--hes cutting your hair, remember). Great conversationalist on many topics and my wife is always happy with my haircut--thats the real complimentary remark in this review. Thanks J. P. Ill be back later in the season for more sports analysis.

fernando diaz JP is the last surviving barbershop . His manor and jokes make the time go fast. He may not have a fancy barber shop, but his honesty not to accept a tip unless the customer is satisfied with the work. Kudos to the JP custom shop

Anne Anne Magaret did my sew in . I hadn’t been to a shop in years. This was a wonderful experience , I love my new look , it gave me a boost of confidence. Also, I noticed how she did beautiful silk presses on natural hair, I was amazed at how fast she does it, yet well done. I highly recommend.

Trinity Phipps I was somewhat happy with the way my hair turned out, but very unhappy with my experience here. One of the stylists were making comments about trans people, which made me uncomfortable. Although I am not trans, I’m a part of the LGBTQ+, actively advocating for us so that was very disappointing. I booked for a silk press to be done with a flat iron and an assortment of hot tools were used on my hair and my silk press was really flat. (I get silk presses and colors or anything else you can name 3-4 times a year so i know what my hair is capable of. If you’re a mom or your hair appointments are a time of relaxation, i suggest not coming here because it is constant commotion and people coming in and out. And if you do come make sure before your appointment you specify you would not like to be recorded

Christina Hall Simon and his wife are fantastic. Simon is very charismatic and enjoys talking to those who come in. My husband has been getting his hair cut there for ages and I enjoy taking my dad to have his hair cut by Simon. Its fun to listen to Simon talk to my dad (whos not super talkative). My dad goes with it and enjoys it. When Simon trims dads hair, he does it all. Head hair, ear hair and mustache trim. I dont even need to tell him anymore what needs to be done. He just does it. Great customer service!

Olivia Whitcomb I came for a gel manicure and while I was there if for a wax. First they waxed a layer of skin off my face. So I had to spend weeks healing and repairing the scaring. Then I asked for a gel manicure and she pulled out all the supplies for an acrylic set. I stopped her and said no I want a gel manicure. She proceeded to lie in my face and tell me the loose powder was gel, its new and its not acrylic. Im getting my nails done at another shop right now and its been confirmed that I have acrylic on my nails. They lied, didnt give me anything I asked or paid for and left me with dark marks all around my mouth.

Sarah Bergman First I want to say they do a great job with pedicures, and the prices are reasonable. However I wasnt thrilled with my acrylic full set. They did not do any cuticle care before or after applying the nails and although my nails looked decent, the color was off.

Ramon McLane Im on my feet a lot and have a problem hangnail that these nice ladies always take care of without any pain. I like the massage chairs. Im a contractor and might feel awkward in a place like this, but I always feel welcome. The deli next door has great sandwiches.

chelsea west I have been going here for years. My preferred nail tech is Michelle. She is a perfectionist, as am I. The owner is friendly and if anything is not to your liking she will try to assist and to make it right. I highly recommend the pedicure! On the basic pedicure they have warm stone message and they have many upgrades to choose from as well.

Coolincatt I asked for a 1 and a half with the grain from my barber immediately he goes against. I look like phsyc patient with the uneven lengths of my hair. To charge that price and produce those results is not good business.

P N Review is base on the salon hair service. Overall - Rude people. They are always busy. They gave me a next day appointment on the phone. But when I arrived, they are too busy and can’t take my appointments. That happened twice in a roll. Kenny is a good hair dress, but the female is not too great. Their business is cater to their often customers. I am not going back and would not recommend for new customers.

Gene E My friend Troy recommend this place for my husband to get his haircut. First thing we noticed was the owners own haircut. Daaaang, his hair was FRESH AS HECK. The neatest thing for me.... While my husband got his haircut, I got my nails did! I loved how fast and clean the nail tech was. Oh BTW, Kenny cut my husbands hair amazingly and super quick. We were both in and out of there within 20 minutes.

Cherry was able to take me right away. She kindly hung up my coat, then listened intently to what style of haircut I wanted and got to work immediately. Her friendly smile and demeanor made me comfortable during the hair cutting process. I watched in the mirror as she professionally cut away. She did exactly what I asked for. I am pleased with my new haircut. There is plenty of free parking in the parking lot. Will come back for color. Highly recommend.

kush Kush This cracked up set of nails was so thin at the bottom Ive had a loud painful, ugly couple weeks for both hands! I told her one was see through at the bottom and she said its on purpose just bsing. They do it super quick n not relaxing. Otherwise, used to like this place. This is my second time issue, and she should respond when I send her the problem its frustrating, rude and unprofessional. I guess my sets arent expensive and fancy enough for her to really care.
