Kim McAdams Be prepared for a quality haircut for the price! My haircut was quick, easy, and neat! I think this is also the first time I have come home after a haircut and not had to clean it up -- Eleni does it all for you! At the end, she saw how much money I had on me and gave me a discount off the usual price for being a student, and said I could come back for small routine trims on the house for having such short hair now! I would highly recommend this place.

Elizabeth Yingling Eleni, did a great job of restoring my hair. Color, is fantastic...had long, dry hair. A good cut..makes a big difference. Cant thank her enough! Elizabeth

T McKC Eleni is the best! With her master in hair color it shows for sure. I trust her 100% with my hair and I enjoy her consults with me. I have been seeing her for years now. She actually was referred to me by another stylist here in SB. I have put my hair through some interesting conditions before meeting her; she helped bring my hair back to life for sure. She knows whats best for my hair and wont hesitate to tell me, "NO Tess, we are not doing that to your hair." hahahaha! When I have been out of town, in and out of California, and in need of a blow out, every stylist that works with my hair ALWAYS compliments my hair condition and hair color. ALWAYS :)) When I was at the Four Seasons in Westlake Village the stylist there had said she wished she lived closer to SB so she could see Eleni. True Story, as Eleni always says....! I book my appointments months out and I HIGHLY recommend everyone does. She knows her stuff for sure. Thank you Eleni for being a great friend and the best color/stylist Ive had. My hair and I appreciate you for sure!! :))

L. Danielle Williams My only complaint is the cost but it was middle of the road compared to others so it is what it is. Did a great cut for me. Did what I asked instead of thinking she knew better what I needed like some other places Ive been to in this area.

Ava Miller I went here nearly 5 months ago. I got my hair dyed brown and it turned a horrible red color. The stylist left the dye on way too long! Her measure of time for how to keep it on was when the next customer was done.. and my hair is RUINED now! I’ve spent another hundred dollars on toners to get rid of this awful color to no avail!! I should’ve never come here in the first place. I could’ve done better myself with 3 dollar box dye. Don’t go here- Save your money for a real salon!

Nes LW The first time I got my haircut was I liked it. She cut the way I wanted. The first lady on the left. The second time was the first lady on the right. I would refuse if I knew she didnt cut my hair well. The third time that my son got his hair was the first lady on the right and still she didnt cut it well. My son is about to cry. I dont like it either. Too far from what he wanted. So now were not going back here. Weve been here many times. Too bad theyre not as good as before. I hope the first lady on the left is back. Shes good.

valerie rodriguez Anytime I’m in Santa Barbara I make sure to go this hair salon. Always the cut that I want and the prices are great. Have been going for years and will continue to do so. I have one stylist that I go to which is Janet, but all the ladies there do a great job!

Christine Gobran Imelda is the best with curly hair. She used to cut my hair when i was a student at UCSB back in 2000. I was driving thru Santa Barbara this weekend and lucky for me, she still cuts hair here and she did a fantastic job. Best haircut I’ve had in over 20 years. Thanks so much

Shanuki Tillekeratne Actually the worst haircut of my life. I told Darin I wanted a trim and he cut off so much of my hair and gave me SO many layers, no two pieces of my hair are the same length, honestly it looks ridiculous. My hair was long and I wanted 2 inches at most off and some random pieces of hair are at my ear, it’s so weird. He did whatever he wanted rather than what I asked for. Do not recommended.

Benjamin Liu I got a haircut from Alloy Z. today at the Ulta Beauty Salon and had a wonderful experience. They helped create a style from the references I showed them and were careful and thorough. The basic haircut is reasonably priced and also includes shampooing and blow drying. Overall Im delighted with my new look and highly recommend their salon for anyone who wants to look fabulous! The Ulta store itself is good too, they have a wide selection of products like makeup, skincare, and hair care. I was happy to see a selection of high quality hair dye in fun colors like blue and purple. Overall a good experience, the location is convenient as well with parking and other amenities like restaurants and stores nearby.

Namy Nguyen The store itself wasnt organized. They have a lot of Shampoo products. They used to give out a little sample on shampoo to test but I dont see that anymore. I bought 2 bottles of shampoo and 1 hair serum. I opened one to start at home, and the scent as well as the feel of my hair was so off for me after once use. I returned the other 2 that I havent opened yet. And I will waste the $26 bottle shampoo I opened as it doesnt work for my hair. I came back Yesterday for a haircut but received a hair trim.It cost 77$ included tips, but my new haircut/hairtrim didnt show any improvement on the issue I mentioned to the hairdresser compared to my previous hair before I let she trim it. Anyway, I should know better where my hair destiny would be as soon as at a moment the hair dresser replied to me that she is one year experience straight out of school to Ulta company and she seems to be not ready to give me a new total hair cut that I show her but instead she prefers just trimming off little bit of my present haircut.

Tiny Taco I was in there yesterday to return an item I purchased as a pick up order. I shop at Ulta because of how easy they make the return process, that’s why I’m a diamond. But this time, Diana was giving me a hard time. She refused to look up my phone number so she can find the item I wanted to return. I always just give my phone number and they find the item right away but according to Diana this is not the process. She claims that because it was a pick up order, it’s considered an online order, therefore they can’t find the item using the phone number. Beware ladies, if you purchase items as a pick up order, Diana will refuse to help you with a return.

L M (J) It is located in the very nice community where there are different kinds of Foods restaurants coffee fitness, when you go to this place you always wanna buy something to use not just to eat. so this shop is a good choice in Santa Barbara. They have a great number of different kinds of cosmetics, you can get almost everything you need and different brands, different types, different prices, the only thing is they don’t have enough workers there. I cannot ask questions sometimes when I cannot find the label of the price and for some products they don’t have a test and for some products are lack of storage. I think all because of the lack of the workers there. and they say when it’s my birthday I can get a gift but unfortunately It’s past my birthday and they still didn’t give me anything even not the email, a little bit disappointed but it’s fine. They have a good service that you can order from the shop and they will ship it to your location if its not available in the shop , so recommended!

Grace S. Scam! My kid is scheduled light perm with hair trim, but they spent 2 hours to bleach his hair for almost $400 instead, not sure how much damages is done to his hair, hes also allergic to some chemicals, not to mention another $200-$300 for touch-up every 6 weeks. Its the WRONG way to earn more business like this!

Ashley Bolling The service and style at Cutting Edge is always top notch. I go to April for my color and Diana for my weekly blowouts. They always do an amazing job! I look forward to seeing their friendly faces week after week. I am always referring people to Cutting Edge because I truly have only had the best experiences there and I know they are in capable hands. The owner Adriana is lovely and so are each and every one of her stylists.

Ashley Mayta Nope! Won’t be back. I literally just paid a girl $100 who has been cutting hair for a year and working there for a month. It was a simple trim. The haircut was one of the worst I’ve gotten, no texturing at all just chopped blunt cut. She didn’t even style my bangs. I had to ask her to. The last time I was in here I left with sopping wet hair. Just very disappointed.

Sneha Koneru I have been looking for a local salon and I found it. This salon is nice, professional and modern. Their website makes it easy to book appointments. People are courteous and they have worked here for many years, which says a lot about how the place is run. My favorite is Bruna. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a massage. She is knowledgeable and really cares about her clients. She is one of the best masseuses! She worked on knots in my trapezius muscles. I always feel relaxed after a session with her. I am pretty anxious when it comes to haircuts as I have curly hair. I got my hair cut by Sarah and she knows what she is doing. She styled it without blow drying and love my new haircut. My new favorite salon!

Maia Fassbind This review is long overdue! I have been going to April for the past 2 years to get my haircut after trying different people all over town. She is absolutely amazing and always love how my hair turns out every time.

Mo Rea Got my hair cut by Phil this time. He’s always positive and humorous. I’m so happy they have maintained sanitation requirements after COVID and clean their stations between clients. Convenient parking and hours. I easily placed my appointment on their website same day. I have curly hair and they don’t shy away from it.

Lauren Velarde very upset. as you can see in the photos, the hair on one side is much longer than the other and from the back it’s a mess. i called after i realized how bad it was, the gentlemen on the phone was very nice and offered to have me come back so they could fix it. i was honestly so upset i did not want to go back and he just gave me a refund. i’m only writing this review because i don’t want someone to be put in this position. glad i got a refund but in my opinion it doesn’t make up for this. i haven’t even felt comfortable leave my house as there is no way to hide this. please think twice about going here.

Hasmik Arakelyan The stylist cut my hair much shorter than I asked for. I requested a trim, but he told me I needed to cut more than that. I agreed to trim a bit more, and I thought the trim would be done after shampooing (which I had requested), but I never got shampooed. Instead, he cut my hair dry without confirming it with me first. He asked me to show him how much to cut, and that’s when he cut it all off without any warning. My hair was long, and I asked for about 1-2 inches to be trimmed. Instead, he cut about 5-6 inches, and now my hair is just past my shoulders. It’s extremely short compared to what it was, but he insists it isn’t. For reference, my hair was waist-length, and now it’s barely past my shoulders. I didn’t say anything at the time because I wasn’t sure how to react, but the service was unprofessional, and this stylist should not be working with long hair. The stylist’s name was Philip.

Kevin Leopard Jacky is GREAT! She’s cut my hair twice and I’ve been very pleased with both. Such a light touch, too; so calming. Highly recommended.

Ricardo Ibarra This shop has won my loyalty for a couple reasons, I’ll start off with saying the energy of the shop is great. Good music is always playing, I always have a great conversation with the barbers, and the atmosphere isn’t too serious - it is a welcoming place. I have been to barbershops where everyone seems to cool for school where you’re not comfortable. This is not that shop, excited to bring my boy for his first haircut here! Anyways, secondly Anthony has always given me an amazing haircut, super consistent and fast service. I rock a slick back so i always get a low fade to skin with a little off top to keep it tight and he just nails it every time. Overall I have zero complaints, keep up the great work Wolf’s Head!

pivotethan1 I called and asked for someone who worked specifically with curly hair and they recommended me someone. I also came in with a reference image (of my own hair from about 2 months ago) for the style and length I desired. They cut it and it was way shorter than I asked for and also completely disregarded the style too. I would not recommend going here, especially if you have curly hair.

Saul Alvarez Lack of questions, effort, and overall didn’t do a good job during the cut. No water was used to cut my hair and the attention to detail was horrible, I had multiple hairs left uncut around the edges.

Carol Ziesenhenne Ive been getting my hair cut at Wolfs Head on and off for about 5 years and have always come away with a sharp fade and a smile on my face. I go out of my way to book with Anthony and have never been disappointed. The place is always spotless, ambiance is chill but professional and booking ahead is easy. Would recommend Wolfs Head without hesitation.

Emilio Portillo Nice environment, but the haircut was bad. For the amount of time taken on a simple fade, the cut was NOT worth $30. My line-up was good, but I still walked out of there looking like I got a haircut a week ago. The older barber with a sleeve tattoo cut my hair and got frustrated when I asked him to fix the sides of my hair after he said he was done. Today’s New Years Eve, so not a lot of barbershops were open, but I know not to come back here again. I appreciate the effort though.

コナー Only a single woman cutting hair with 4+ people waiting. Took way too long to cut a single persons hair. I was supposed to be next in line but she decided to let her friend cut me in line. Wasted 30 minutes of my time. I’m a long time customer but I’m never coming back. Highly recommend you never come here, they don’t give good haircuts anyway.

Brandon Broukhim If I could leave -5 stars I would… I asked for the same hair style as I currently had just a bit shorter all around. Lady ended up nearly shaving my whole head off and left me with a buzz cut when I never asked for such a thing! Very vague with the way the hair styles are described with numbers like “1”, “2” and “3” whatever those mean. Stay away from this place at all costs
