My blonde hair was badly damaged a year ago, and I struggled to find a stylist that was able to highlight my roots and make my hair look and feel good, while also being careful not to add more damage. After my first appointment I was very satisfied with highlights and cut. I love having length to my hair but knew I probably needed a couple inches cut off to restore the health of my hair. I let her cut two inches off the back and carefully cut the front. I don’t miss the two inches at all. My hair looks and feels so good! Received lots of compliments on my hair at home and at work. She sells great product too. Highly recommend this salon. Thank you!

Denise Finneran Absolutely the best cut and color Ive had in over 15 years. Shelley OBrien was my stylist. The best part was that I walked in on a Thursday afternoon to see the salon (just moved to the area) and I met Shelley and she had me booked in the following Tuesday. She worked a miracle as I hadnt had my hair cut or highlighted in almost a year. (I was caring for my terminally ill father). Im gonna search for a before picture so I can post comparisons. Anyhow they do nails facials & massages there too which Im going to treat myself to them all now that Im able to. The salon is clean and nice. Well worth my time and money.

J Rivera I like the salon. I really liked the lady who cut my hair. The overall cut was beautiful. But one problem was I had my hair past my belly button. All I wanted was a trim, layers, and bangs. Showed her references as to the kind of layers i was looking for and bangs. She gave me beautiful layers and bangs. However, she didnt keep the length. Only 1 inch shouldve been taken off but after measuring when I got home, it was about 5 inches cut off. Id probably go to her again for an actual cut, but never for a trim. I need someone who knows how to manage long hair and do layers for long hair. Seems like this place was not the right fit for me. Its very disappointing as my long hair is a cultural and religious aspect. Who knows how long itll take to grow back. And with that said, this place wasnt the right fit for me. Also, she was very sweet and nice, but was constantly on her phone booking appointments while cutting my hair. Maybe that was part of it. I dont know. Seems like this place can use a receptionist. If your looking for an actual cut, she is great, but I dont recommend if you have long hair and trying to keep the length. If I can show a before and after on here, I would. Doesnt look like an option. But Ive been sobbing since I got home and got to actually look at the difference. There was no reason 1 inch or even 2 inches should go to 5 inches. Just because I needed a trim doesnt mean that I dont have the right to layers and that sort of cut without my hair getting butchered. This has been devastating. The cut overall was beautiful and the stylist has talent. But I didnt want my hair cut short.

Victoria Mora Horrible hair color. She actually styled my hair and asked for $160! I had zebra stripes! She ended up dying it again and this time my roots turned BLACK! I have strawberry red hair. Went in for red high/low lights. I ended up not paying and having to find someone who would help me later that night to try and fix it. I called the owner the next day and she called me a liar. Heres the pictures of my "lie".

bishop bookworm Upon the recommendation of another hair professional in town, last September I made an appointment with Marilyn Johnson to add some "fun" color streaks to my hair in teal and blue. While I understand my hair is of a type that takes color well, I would still like to say she did an outstanding job. The color was saturated and the streaks were well-distributed and in a nice proportion/ratio to my natural hair color. I got good instructions on how to make the color last as long as possible, and a very nice trim that was exactly what I wanted without quite knowing it, too. Months later, the color has faded some (this is to be expected!) but remains vivid and I receive compliments on a nearly daily basis. Looking forward to my next color adventure with Marilyn!
