Madison Meteer Linnea is so sweet and is so good at what she does! She is kind and patient and listens to my questions, thoughts and ideas and helps me achieve my hair goals! She is so passionate about what she does and I have been going to her for over a year now!

Rayna Amundson Linnea has done my hair since beauty school and she rarely has to ask me what I want anymore. Besides being the sweetest person on the planet, she is extremely knowledgeable and never fails to make me comfortable in her chair. If I could give 10 stars I would. All my fellow blondes you will not be disappointed!!

Jada Holmes Linnea is the sweetest person I know and genuinely cares about her work. I never doubt that shell do an amazing job! Madeline Hennessy I came across Emma randomly on Instagram and am so glad I did! She’s so good at listening to what you envision for your hair and delivers every time. As someone who is not great at describing what I want, she always seems to somehow understand and I have full trust in her!! Her new studio is super cute too. Whitney Smith Emma is the absolute best! I always leave her salon feeling like a million bucks. Shes incredibly talented and always listens to my requests. The salon itself is super cute and clean, and shes always so friendly and welcoming.

Nikki Hughed 100% Macey! My dark hair grows gray diamonds randomly so I wanted something easy to maintain. She took the time to walk me through several options and even sent me some example pictures. We decided to go with gray blending. My results were incredibly! Macey is wonderful!

Logan This place a very pretty giving a Victorian-esc theming. The employees welcomed me at the door and offered water or coffee. Everyone here is super positive and make it as welcoming as possible. Each cubicle felt like its own special and unique space with different decorations and design. It also smells nice I’m here with all the different sprays. It’s not too overwhelming and the waiting chairs are very comfortable. I had Sarah (I think, im bad with names) and she made sure to listen to my requests and gave suggestions on what she thinks looks good, but lets me have final say. She is great! Hope to come back here.

Mila Rose Michelle V is the greatest hairdresser I’ve ever met. As someone who takes massive pride in their hair, I’m so glad I get to have Michelle transform me into the best version of myself. Communication, professionalism, friendliness, Michelle checks all the boxes! 1000/10 will always recommend ❤️

Amanda Mcclintock Michelle turned my nightmare hair into a DREAM!!! She took me in last minute and even stayed after hours to make sure my hair turned out perfect. She took her time and didn’t cut any corners, she did it the “long way” because that was the RIGHT way! I’m so glad that I found her because I’ve been looking for a long term stylist for 3 years now. 11 out of 10 recommend!!! Michelle AND owner were so amazing!!!

Aurelia Starkey Jessica has been doing my hair for a while now and I have been impressed with her attention to detail. For my latest appointment I wanted a full highlight and several inches cut off of the length. She exceeded my expectations in both. The cut is blended so well and the highlights are natural looking while also creating a lot of brightness. She always takes her time to create the very best outcome possible. I highly recommend Jessica to anyone who wants quality service from someone who really cares.

Juliet Forbes This salon is clean, welcoming, and has the best energy. Michelle provides quality service every time and there’s never the awkward silence that I fear whenever I go somewhere new. The whole team is so friendly and funny - you can tell that it’s a group that genuinely loves where they work and what they do. Highly recommend!

bianca I came in as a walk-in in hopes of getting a trim, and I was blessed to have Joselynn take me in super fast!! Luckily she had an opening and took me in right away, had a very relaxing hair-pampering session of a wash, trim and blowout which my hair came out looking refreshing and so much healthier than how it was when I walked in. I told her that I was nervous about getting a trim because my hair has a hard time getting long (and currently the hair I have now is medium length but the longest I had due to previous damage) and she made me feel at ease about the trim. it still looks long now after the appt and looks so shiny and healthy. also she gave me lots of good advice on how to maintain my hair health and preserve the length throughout the whole time. Definitely recommend getting an appointment with her!!

Shannon & Roger Bass Best place for hair. Best Master stylist is Hair by Jos ❣️ The other girls are probably wonderful, too. They also do lashes & mani-pedis . Very elegant style. I think this building may have been the old bus depot. I need to find out since I cant remember.

Kristen Borgsmiller The extensions Tamara just put in my hair are beautiful! She is incredible at what she does: color, extensions, haircut, you name it! Her technique used for extensions yield movie star quality hair. My extensions look natural and they’re super easy to wear and do not weigh down my hair. I feel so fortunate to have found such an amazing hairstylist, b/c as most of you reading this probably know, good hairstylists are like unicorns. Well, Tamara is that rare unicorn, and she’s not just good, she’s great! She’s meticulous, a master of her art and efficient with her time, that results in efficient with my time and absolutely stunning hair. ❤️❤️❤️

Hadia Khalil I have tried many extensions over the years, but OMG, Tamara has transformed my hair to a different level. I love how natural and beautiful my hair looks. She’s gorgeous inside and out, cares about her clients, and is willing to give you the right advice and not for the money. She’s not overpriced like other extension salons in the area. Totally recommend.

Susan Fanetti Back during the lockdown, I shaved off long hair Id had for decades. While I love having very short hair and havent let it grow much since, Ive really struggled to find a stylist who works well with a really short cut and LISTENS TO ME. Over the years, Ive shaved my head multiple times immediately after getting a cut because Im so unhappy with it. And then, at last, I found Breanna. I love love LOVE the way she cuts my hair. She listens to and consults with me, and Im thrilled with the results. I cant recommend her enough!

Mara Files I just moved to the area, and wasnt sure where to start with finding a new hair stylist. Unfortunately, I got a bad haircut at the first place I chose. I called this salon afterwards, and they were able to work me in on the same day to fix my hair! My stylist was Megan Moreno, and she put so much attention to detail in making sure my hair was perfect. I have a pixie cut with naturally curly and thick hair, so a lot can go wrong if it isnt cut right. It really shows Megans skills to be able to correct a bad pixie cut and make it look amazing, very thankful to have found this place!

Fair Jason (Nomadic Nerd Project) Breanna is amazing. By far the best haircut Ive ever had. Amazing skills. The style fits my face better than before. Not to mention, tamed the cowlic.

Michelle S. LOVE LOVE LOVE the cut and color I got from Megan Thrasher. I called Friday morning, and they were able to squeeze me in for a full foil and cut on Saturday morning. Megan was great, she listened to exactly what I wanted and thats what I got. She gave my color more dimension and it looks natural and beautiful. She was personable, funny, and made the whole experience great. Im so grateful to have found such an awesome stylist. Prices were very reasonable. I cant recommend this salon highly enough!!!

Catherine Fites Christy is a magician! I went in with partial grey grow out asking for a complete switch to grey to ease the transition and she did it in one session! No one else ever offered that option before. She is amazing. Be ready to pay for her experience and expertise, but it’s worth it!

Erin Montgomery Maddie is amazing! I went to The Standard this weekend for a Brazilian Blowout, and she took the best care of me and my hair. I love that the new BB formula does not have formaldehyde. Maddie was knowledgeable, professional, and very friendly. I will definitely return to see her!

Rhonda Olson Needed a new hair stylist after being out of Roseville for a while. I chose The Standard based on my preferences and the fact that service pricing was available on the site. Christy was awesome about talking the time to talk about my hair preferences and to make suggestions about some hair issues I was having. Will definitely be returning.

Rachel Valley Gloria is the bee’s knees. I come to her for IBE hand tied, luxury extensions. She really takes the time to get to know your hair and placement and the color is always custom and gorgeous. Super fun and friendly, she always makes you feel so great in the chair and when you leave. I have extremely fine and sparse hair and it is worth every penny. I have had many wonderful experiences with other stylists and they do a great job. I just always struggled to make my hair look as good as the day it was cut and colored. With the extensions it’s easy to have great hair everyday. I’m so glad to have found Artistic Hair Boutique!

Kalin Knobles Erica saved me! I’m a pregnant mama and my emotions were high as I needed my hair done for an event. I needed a Balayage and I found Erica (I saw her amazing before and afters on Instagram). Erica squeezed me in during her full schedule and did an amazing job of blending my color. The first picture is my before and the second is after. She was super sweet and explained the whole process making sure we were both on the same page. Jennene Baxley Fantastic Lines! Stunning color that sparkles! I have been going to Destiney for years now and shes the best stylist ever! She tailors the cut lines to each individual client and customizes color like an artist. Destiney tames my thick hair into manageable sleekness; now I actually wear it down instead of boring pony tails. Highly recommend! If you live in Sac town, go ahead and do the drive; it is worth it.

Tess Howard I got my hair cut & colored by Nikole, she is amazing! She paid a lot of attention to detail which I appreciated and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. The salon is so cute and clean and I would 100% recommend going to Nikole!

Kendell Blunden Rose has been my hairstylist for a long while now! She is one of the best people I know, and the only person that I let touch my hair. I travel to NorCal just for her to cut and color it. She always knows exactly what to do and offers ideas for fun change without any pressure! I dont want to brag, but my hair for my wedding was FLAWLESS. When I got engaged I knew I needed her to do my hair for my wedding! She helped me to make sure that my hair length would be where I wanted it to be and made sure to cut it early enough that it would still look healthy but not super short or anything. She had me find references of not only styles I might like, but also color wise how I wanted it to be. Rose always makes you feel great about yourself and your hair and my wedding day felt no different. It was so nice to be able to relax and know that nothing was going to go wrong with my hair. It was absolutely beautiful. She taught my maid of honor how to put my veil in and take it out without wrecking anything, too. My husband and I had a first look out in a windy meadow before our ceremony, and Rose met me at our venue to fix my hair again before the ceremony that way it would be flawless. I received so many compliments on how beautiful my hair looked and how much people loved the way it was put back. Rose stayed on schedule with ease in getting all six of my bridesmaids done, my dad, our officiant, our flower girl and myself done on time. If you need bridal hair I would 110% recommend Rose. And if you dont need bridal hair, but just regular hair, I would still 110% recommend Rose!

Amanda Lynn Shasta Vannatta does an absolutely amazing job and is a magician with scissors. Ive been going to her for years and this time I wanted to do something different. Cut a ton of hair off completely changed out the color and she did it perfectly. Showed her a picture of what I wanted and she made it happen. Not to mention this Salon is really cool inside. Its a great atmosphere and not the typical boring salon.

PJ OConnor Cool and laid back. Recently remodeled, the shop is brighter and sleek. Everyone is very friendly, as well as talented. Since Ive been seeing Amber, I regularly get compliments on my hair.

Cheyenne was my stylist and so thorough and knowledgeable about the products she was using, she checked in with me about my hair as she was cutting, and gave me such a warm, relaxing experience! I love my layered cut, theres so much bounce and my heavy hair still has its length while feeling so much lighter!

Meaghan Kelly-Esteban BOOK HERE FOR YOUR DREAM HAIR!!! I previously had some, badly done in the first place, grown out green hair. (Ill attach before/after photo) I was hesitant to bleach my hair, but I wanted to add more color. I met with Chetto for a consultation and they were so freaking welcoming and they assured me that we could definitely do what I wanted. I booked with her and had the utmost confidence going into my appt. She was so pleasant and fun during the time there and I felt like she genuinely wanted to know about me and make conversation, rather than just another client to get through. Her coloring is not just fun, its artistic and unique and she has such skill. I have a wedding in a few months and will definitely be going back to them to get my color touched up before the event. Im not trusting anyone else for my hair now! She also made me a super tasty iced coffee and gave me a little Chakra session while I was at the wash bowl. All the other staff there were super friendly and welcoming, plus the salon is really cute and fun and bright. Do not hesitate to book here!

Robert G Sheena Christine Prodigy is a disgrace to spas. I would give it a negative 3 stars if I could. Christine is a very bad business owner and misses appts and even cancels them multiple times. She is impossible to contact and her business was closed when I arrived. This business needs to be shutdown and put out of business for good. Not worthy of ever going to. Going out of business is for the best.

David Fink You Have to go to Studio 33. The signature experience is worth every dollar! If you have the time, if you don’t, take the time, it is the only way to enjoy an hour taking care of yourself!!! Tiffany’s energy is unmatched and you are missing out if she’s not taking care of you.

I found my girl, Lori Pringle, after years of mistake and much suffering, partly because my standards were set way too low; dont ever settle, go for the best and you will always be happy.
