herbert davis Doctors Michael Waters spent quality time with me during my visit. He told me what to expect should my Lab test comes back positive or negative. He explained the various options going forward regardless of the situation. I appreciated that. He is an amazing Doctor.

Darius Evans My name is Darius, and I have been a patient at the Fort Worth location since the evening of Friday, February 14, 2025. My admission was prompted by a fall that occurred the previous Monday, leaving me in need of rehabilitation to regain my ability to walk. Faced with the daunting prospect of therapy, I felt anxious about finding a facility that would provide a supportive and reassuring environment. After exploring my options, I was given the opportunity to transfer to Texas Rehabilitation of Fort Worth. When I arrived, it was late in the evening, and most of the staff had already finished for the day, creating a quiet atmosphere that added to my anxiety. However, as soon as I met Shelia, the nurse assigned to me for the night, I felt a sense of relief. What truly stood out, though, was Angel, the patient care technician who was responsible for my care that night. From the moment I rolled through the doors, Angel exuded warmth and compassion that immediately put me at ease. She welcomed me with a genuine, radiant smile that conveyed a sense of comfort. Her friendly and approachable demeanor was far beyond mere professionalism; it felt as if she genuinely cared about my well-being and was invested in my recovery journey. Angel took the time to explain the processes I would undergo and answered my questions with patience and clarity. Her kindness transformed what could have been an overwhelming experience into a welcoming environment. For that, I am profoundly grateful. In those initial moments, I felt a glimmer of hope and reassurance, knowing I was in good hands as I began this challenging journey toward healing and regaining my independence. I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for several staff members who have made my experience here so welcoming, especially considering I have only been here for the weekend so far. My nurses, Shelia, Francis, and Robinson, along with one other nurse whose name escapes me at the moment, have truly impressed me with their professionalism and compassion. Each of them exhibits a remarkable level of dedication to their work and goes above and beyond to ensure that I am comfortable and well taken care of. They are attentive to my needs and have made it a priority to ensure that I never feel neglected. Additionally, I cannot praise the patient care techs, Angel and Lisa, enough. Their support has been outstanding; they check in on me regularly, ensuring I have everything I need and that I am doing okay throughout the day and night. In today’s world, it can be challenging to find individuals who genuinely care for others, but it is clear that Angel and Lisa take immense pride in their responsibilities. Unlike many who are solely focused on financial gain, these staff members exemplify a true passion for their roles and for providing exceptional care to their patients. Their commitment to helping others is a breath of fresh air and does not go unnoticed. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the physical therapy and occupational therapy teams. They have been wonderful throughout my recovery, and I appreciate the personalized one-on-one sessions and engaging group activities. The food has pleasantly surprised me; I initially had my doubts, but the meals are fantastic, thanks to the dedicated dietary team. I’m excited for Monday when I’ll meet the rest of this remarkable team. Their commitment to my recovery has made a significant positive impact, and I look forward to continuing this journey with them.

Very accommodating to my son’s needs due to his sensory issues. Jack Jones I waited until my late 40s to establish a relationship with a doctor, and I can confidently say I hit a home run with Dr. Elizabeth Story. From day one, she’s been nothing short of outstanding. What sets her apart is how accessible she is—whether through phone, text, or in-office visits. As someone with a busy schedule, that kind of availability is invaluable. Dr. Story has the perfect balance of warmth and understanding, but she also gives it to you straight. She doesn’t sugarcoat things, and I appreciate that honesty when it comes to understanding my health and the steps I need to take to improve. Her delivery is clear, compassionate, and motivating, which makes all the difference. I also want to mention the incredible team that supports her. Whether you’re in the office or calling in, you’ll hear familiar voices, and it’s clear that Dr. Story’s team is just as dedicated and knowledgeable as she is. This consistency makes me feel confident that I’m in good hands all around. Overall, Dr. Elizabeth Story has been a true partner in my healthcare journey, and I’m so grateful for her expertise and care.

Scott Lewis Had a procedure at Harris. The staff and doctors were very knowledgeable and professional in their duties. Would recommend Harris Methodist Ft. Worth to everyone. Nice hospital too!

Kris Jennings I don’t see how there could be any more amazing workers in the American work force than these nurses.

K Came in due to pneumonia and the staff and everyone has been so nice and accommodating to me. I truly feel like I’m in good hands especially as a young Muslim women who never usually has to go to the hospital. They were quick and attentive given I came into the ER gasping for air and they treated me right away. Everyone has been so nice and explains everything to me in a way that I can understand. They even were very nice to my daughter and my husband when they come to visit me. If I ever have issues again while I’m living near Arlington I will definitely be back.

Ashley Johnson I was an involuntary admit due to a psychosis episode. Let me start off by saying that I’ve worked at hospitals with direct contact with patients (I don’t want to explain more to remain anonymous). I had NEVER treated a patient the way I was treated at this ward. When you’re dealing with a patient under stress and in panic mode, you do not respond with an aggressive tone. You keep your hands visible at all times. Do what you need to do in order to de-escalate the situation. This “hospital”, if it can even be called that, did none of those things. I was billed $500+ btw, and had bruises all over my legs because I was struck

Cameron Thompson This complaint is strictly in regards to security officer Dunn. This employee lacks compassion and care in regards to families that have just lost a loved one. Thankful for the nurses and managers to advocate for our family, but Officer Dunn has no concern or regard of the circumstances for families based on his interactions that were completely unnecessary, disrespectful, and does not fulfill the mission and heart of the hospital. I hope that he receives appropriate training to better serve the community otherwise he poses as a deficit to your hospital system.
