J P It is extremely difficult nowadays to find an honest and experienced mechanic shop that takes their time to make sure they do their best to diagnose and fix the problem correctly, while giving you options. Ken and Nancy were amazing !! Our jeep had an upper oil pan leak, among other things, because the prior shop we used were neglectful and used the wrong parts. Ken and his team showed us what was done incorrectly and documented their work from start to finish. DO NOT waste your money with anyone else. This shop is legit and you wont be disappointed. mildly inconvenienced Autobahn was recommended to me after another shop tried to charge me for 14 hours of labor at dealership rates for a job that should realistically take 7 hours. When I received Autobahn’s estimate, their numbers made sense and aligned with my own research. They completed the work the same afternoon and even went above and beyond by being honest about a part that didn’t actually need replacing, something the other shop wasn’t transparent about.

Wayne Ramirez I can’t say enough good things about Sanford Auto Service. My 2013 Ford F-150 EcoBoost has had issues since I bought it, and I’ve taken it to multiple shops over the years. It would run well at times, but never truly great—until now. When my timing chain went out, I brought it here for a full tune-up. While it was a big repair, they worked with me on the price, which I really appreciated. The result? My truck has NEVER run better. It’s been three weeks, and I’ve put it through the test—out-of-town trips, towing, 4WD—and it’s handled everything flawlessly. This is the best it has ever driven. From Tracy in the front office to the mechanics in the back (wish I remembered their names!), everyone was honest, transparent, and dedicated to quality work. I’ve also brought my Tahoe here for some repairs, and that experience was great as well. But the work they did on my F-150 was major, and I couldn’t be more pleased. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and skilled mechanic in San Antonio, this is the place.

Melissa schnelle So glad I stopped by Sun Auto to get a quote! I had just left Discount Tire and did not feel comfortable with the outcome. Sam was extremely helpful and got me a quote on the tires I was requesting. He ordered them and we set an appointment to have them put on. I arrived for the appointment and still had questions but all were answered to my satisfaction. I was happy they would advise me on brakes, rotors, oil change and such. I felt comfortable and very much trusted this establishment. My car was ready earlier than I expected and they offered to send a car for me. Customer service is few and far between these days but Sun Auto know how important it is.

Wesley Dulin If you’re looking for a trustworthy mechanic go with these guys. They did work on my truck and when the problem didn’t fix they didn’t charge me for any of the work or parts. I went back the next week to get it fixed. They communicate better than any mechanic I’ve ever worked with and they will send a detailed email including everything that works and doesn’t in your vehicle (pictures included). They have amazing customer service and there are some funny guys. It may be a drive for me but it’s worth going 20 minutes out of the way.

Jon VanO This place was fast, friendly, affordable,and very informative. I knew what was wrong when I went in and they got right to it. With a broken bolt the extraction was quick and painless. Afterwards they told me all they did and let me know of any possible situations that may arise. Will definitely be back if I have any more problems.
