Word of Life Church - rock island

New Heart My wife and I have been in ministry for over 15 years, and we have been attending Word Of Life for 4 years since moving to the Quad Cities. I remember when we moved in to our home how Pastor Tanner and his mother-in-law and his wife and several other people were there to welcome us with food and to lend us a hand with the moving. Pastor Tanner has mentored me these past four years and I count myself richly blessed to have him pour into my life. He has taught me much about grace, patience, and the love of Jesus Christ. The church family at large are also very welcoming, helpful, and loving as well. We are very happy indeed to call Word of Life our home church.

The Refuge United Pentecostal Church

Denise Jetter Powerful services. Great people of God. All are welcomed, no matter who you are. No judgment here. They call it the Refuge for a reason. Well named.

Sacred City Church - Moline

Tyler Claypool Sacred City church is relatively small church, but very friendly. Everyone there is so nice. One of my favorite things about this church is it has a nice blend of traditional and contemporary style of worship. I would recommend this church if you are a believer or someone looking for answers.

River City Church - moline

Pat Phelan New Hope is a great church that reaches out to long term members, new members, and potential members. They are embracing technology, looking to include new families, keep kids in the church, and reach out to the community. If you dont have a church that you love today, stop by and spend a Sunday morning with us!

The House - A Local Church

Laila H. My family and I started going to The House about 5 years ago in a really big scary transitional time for us. More than anything at that time we were yearning for a home, a community, a place where we could be at the table with Jesus and His people and know that we were loved. I mean this with all my heart: The House has been exactly this. My favorite things about our church family are the clear love for the Rock Island community (and active volunteerism and prayer within said community), the prioritization of justice and equality amongst all God’s people, the way we frequently dive into biblical exegesis in sermons, and the passion for worship that I think shows in our worship team as well as our congregation. Nobody worships in exactly same way, but there’s no pressure to do so here: I have always felt like I can come before God and this church as exactly who I am, with all my quirks and questions. We challenge each other to grow, change, and learn more about how God calls us to live, but we do not judge one another. If you’re looking for a church home, come hang out with these people. Come worship, come pray, come learn with us! You have a place here, you have a seat at the table.

Edgewood Baptist Church

Mark Reed My wife and I have been visiting for a year now. We both feel very comfortable here. This church is very much rooted in scripture and we enjoy the sermons. The singers on the stage are excellent and we love the music. We plan to continue attending.

New Life Fellowship - Moline Campus

Anderson Larry My wife, Sharon and I have been attending New Life Fellowship for six years and we’ve felt like we are home. We enjoy the fellowship of believers but mainly the presence of the Lord is here. Oh, Come Let Us Adore Him. Christ the Lord.
