Musical meditations, labrynth, coffee time, so much that make this church like no other. Its a safe place and feels like our home. Just starting my journey as a member and its been a blessing!

Laila H. My family and I started going to The House about 5 years ago in a really big scary transitional time for us. More than anything at that time we were yearning for a home, a community, a place where we could be at the table with Jesus and His people and know that we were loved. I mean this with all my heart: The House has been exactly this. My favorite things about our church family are the clear love for the Rock Island community (and active volunteerism and prayer within said community), the prioritization of justice and equality amongst all God’s people, the way we frequently dive into biblical exegesis in sermons, and the passion for worship that I think shows in our worship team as well as our congregation. Nobody worships in exactly same way, but there’s no pressure to do so here: I have always felt like I can come before God and this church as exactly who I am, with all my quirks and questions. We challenge each other to grow, change, and learn more about how God calls us to live, but we do not judge one another. If you’re looking for a church home, come hang out with these people. Come worship, come pray, come learn with us! You have a place here, you have a seat at the table.

CJ WM "God looks good on you!" This church has a great ministry, congregation and is spirit filled/lead. Service is active, band is worship minded and they have programs one of which helps the down and out move onward and upward. Filling them with skills, hope and helping them connect with God and offers housing and employment (apply for program) at the Covenant house. This is my experience after attending and enjoying 1 service visiting a friend of mine who invited me. Im glad many people that I have known from before ARE attaining all of these things i.e. spiritual, physical and life changing.

Valerie Everly I am very impressed with this church in the heart of a neighborhood and their heart for the people in the neighborhood. A Bible based church, teaching God and His truth. People of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs are welcome. I would recommend this church to anyone looking for a new home church, or a church to visit when you visit the area.

Derek & Bethany Weipert Grew up in this church. They are a very welcoming and open to anyone from anywhere. My husband did not grow up going to church and immediately said it felt like home and the members felt like family. They have opened their doors to so many walks of life. The choir is fabulous with a mix of traditional and contemporary. The pastor is well rounded and relatable. Service is a little early for most but if you are willing to wake a little early you will feel energized and wont be disappointed!

Mark Carlson I have been a member of the church since I was very young. The congregation is small and aging but very friendly and open. The facilities are built long ago but well maintained. It is home.
