5 /5 Frederick V.: Honest - Integrity - Professional Finding the right car shop to take your vehicle to is like finding the right dentist. You wouldn’t want just anyone to start hacking away. You need someone who is not only knowledgeable, but also has great bedside manner, over-communicates and does exactly what he says he is going to do. Enough good things cannot be said about Dan, the owner-master technician at The Auto Lounge. After purchasing a Jeep for my daughter, I quickly found out why people say that Jeep stands for “Just Empty Every Pocket”. Luckily I had also purchased an extended warranty which Dan was more than happy to work with. For those of you who have purchased aftermarket warranties, you know it can be quite the undertaking to get repairs approved and shops normally don’t like working with these warranty companies because it adds time to the repair and time down on a vehicle equals lost productivity/revenue. Every step of the way from dropping my daughter’s car off at The Auto Lounge, to the diagnosis of the car’s issues, to the interactions with the warranty company, and any issues that may have arisen when conducting the repair…Dan kept me abreast the entire time. I travel quite a bit for work and Dan was always sure to keep me updated by trying to call me first, leaving a message and then leaving me a text message. Amazing communication! This is quite possibly the step that all dealerships and repair shops get wrong. Dan is a true professional, not just with his tools of the trade, but also from a customer experience perspective. Although I live more than 25 miles away from The Auto Lounge, traveling out to Canton was 100% worth it to have Dan work on my daughter’s Jeep. I am happy to report that the long laundry list of issues with the Jeep are all now resolved and the car is like new. Thank you Dan for setting the gold standard! Consider me a loyal customer. I will be back.

5 /5 Catherine Dickerson: This review is for the amazing owner, Dan, (or one of the owners) of this business. Coming home after work, I stuck something on the road that bent two of my rims and, thus, flattening two of my tires. Dan happened to come by and did everything he could to try to get me back on the road safely, even taking the time to run one of my tires back to his place to see if it would hold air. Unfortunately, we were not able to get it back on the road that day, but there isnt much you can do with two bent alloy rims and one spare, lol. Anyway, Dan helped me out so much that day and I was just a random person on the side of the road, so I can guarantee (and based on seeing the other reviews on here) that this is a mechanic you can trust taking your to. And, now, has a new customer. Thank you for all your help!

I brought my IS 500 Launch Edition to Dan at The Auto Lounge with a laundry list of items: IS F caliper swap with Brembo pads, SS lines, brake flush, RR Racing LCA bushings, pulley kit, rear liner replacement, and a full alignment. He didn’t just set the alignment to factory specs — he actually tuned it to my setup, dialing in max caster and zeroed toe. Car feels locked in now. The pricing was more than fair, especially considering the quality. You’ll pay more at a dealer or speed shop and get less care and precision. Dan knows these platforms inside and out, and it shows. The team at The Auto Lounge knocked all the work out in a day! He might be best known for Lexus and Toyota builds, but he works on everything — and treats all cars with the same level of attention. Whether you’re building an F car or just keeping a daily tight, this is where you go. I came from Johns Creek — totally worth it. Will definitely be back soon!

5 /5 Montgomery Derek: Ive tried a handful of different mechanics over the years and have to say Dan is by far the best one Ive ever taken my vehicle to. Was a bit of a drive to get to his shop for me but I had seen recommendations and the initial quote he gave me was the best price from anywhere else. Brought my Lexus GX470 in for a complete timing belt job along with cam seals and oil filter gasket. Its a very big job and Dan had no problem performing it for me. Once he got into doing the job he found a fairly alarming problem. He called and sent pictures to let me know what he had found. He walked me through with what he thinks would be the best steps to try to fix the problem without me having to spend a lot of extra money. He had the car in the shops for a week and called/texted me multiple times a day to let me know how it was going. In the end the car is back together and everything is running good and smooth thanks to Dan going above and beyond to help me out when problems came up. I highly recommend bringing your car here to The Auto Lounge.
