After realizing I’d been charged for months after attempting to cancel my membership, I called The Rock Fitness Center to get it resolved. The employee refused to help, insisting I “had to come in person,” even though my contract says nothing of the sort and Georgia law DOES NOT require it for memberships.
When I calmly stood my ground and asked for it to be handled over the phone, I was hung up on—and then threatened with the cops simply for asking them to stop charging me for a service I no longer use. That’s beyond unprofessional—it’s intimidation.
No customer should ever be treated this way and it seems by all the latest reviews this is their standard practice lately. I’d highly recommend avoiding this place unless you want to deal with unethical billing practices and disrespectful treatment.
