VAVA Clinic - Naples (FL)

Jessica Rivero Dr. McLaughlin has always been caring and attentive with my son since we have started with her practice 9 months ago. She has established a relationship with my son and he loves going to the doctor. Not only is she on top of everything making sure he is as healthy as he can be, she always makes sure that she seems him as soon as possible whenever he is sick. For that, I will continue to take my son to see Dr. McLaughlin. As a family, we are very happy with her care.

Bart I was admitted through the ER and I dont even have the words to express just how impressed I was with the staff here. They were clearly well trained and knowledgeable. They were efficient, yet thorough. The triage team was amazing. They anticipated each others moves and they were able to get me taken care of quickly. Every test has been explained before it was performed. The hospitalist and specialists worked together and were in close contact. They were able to provide my meds (which is a surprise since its a specialty medication and quite expensive). I was expecting to share a room with an elderly combative patient, but I didnt. I was given a single room and it was like a suite in a hotel. I was just blown away. I have a medical background and I catch mistakes, but the performance here has been second to none. The food isnt that great, but its edible and I e had worse. Any time I needed anything nurses and techs were right on it. They gave me clear instructions for using everything in the room (TV, phone, call button). They gave me an abundance of pillows and blankets. I have really been through the ringer the last couple days. I got to experience my second LP. I didnt even feel it. Not at all. Im not even sore from it. Ive been in many different healthcare settings and this is by far one of the top hospitals Ive been to. My nurses have helped keep my spirits up. Its really a pleasant experience for unpleasant times. If I ever have to get admitted to a hospital again, this will be my first choice. Id also like to say Ive seen this place at its worse during COVID. Its been a completely different experience. When I was first here I walked out after waiting 19 hours with no food stuck in a chair in the hallway. Its really great to see that things have slowed down a bit for them. Im going to tell my friends to come here. Theyve earned my trust and thats a hard thing to do, I dont generally trust doctors or hospitals because of my background and what I witness at places. People make mistakes, ppl fall through the cracks. Im really happy I made the decision to choose Gulf Coast. Theyve made a difficult time a lot easier to handle. You dont get that often.

Roe Lou “Weezie” Huge thank you to all the rapidly caring staff I encountered in my ER visit. Especially Dr Hunter Brown. He was very attentive, listened to me, very through. I had an excellent nurse as well and Im sorry I dont remember his name but he was a blessing as well. All the other staff from CT techs , to x-rays were great. This is not my first visit to this ER and I highly recommend it to anyone. I am a retired nurse and can be a little.... pushy , but everyone went above and beyond to comfort me. My experience was top notch and I have no complaints.

Brittny Senatus Lehigh Regional Medical Center provided exceptional care for my eight-year-old son during a recent asthmatic episode. From the moment we arrived, the triage nurse Stephen was attentive and quickly assessed his condition. The entire staff acted promptly, ensuring he received the necessary treatment without hesitation. Dr.Glenn even had a tissue basketball shoot out with my son. I am beyond grateful for their outstanding care and would highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of urgent medical attention. Thank you to the amazing team for taking such great care of my little one!

Marissa Where do I start! The staff here are incredibly friendly and always take care of our child. The facilities are clean & welcoming. We never felt rushed and the physicians are there to answer our questions. We need a million more of these type facilities and people in healthcare. if you need after hours care for your babies this place is wonderful.

Renate Eichelberger My experience could not have been better! I arrived Saturday around 10am with head & lung issues from a probable upper respiratory infection. Every person from the receptionist to the Physician Assistant were friendly, personable & professional. The Nurse, Felix and the PA, Nicole, quickly diagnosed my infection, provided me with prescriptions and we were out of the building within 45 minutes.

catherine knuteson In the ER, I received prompt and competent care. My only complaint was that the treatment room (13) was very cold. I was transported to an inpatient room…again, competent, safe care! The nurses were great, the dietary staff were friendly and helpful (food was good!) and the doctor clearly explained the medical plan. I was very pleased with my care!!!

Charnelle Ruiz Love the team at the Vava Clinic! From the office to the clinical staff, they are kind and easy to work with. Dr.Lisa Shapiro is engaged, knowledgeable, and down to earth. Secretly, I don’t want to share how much we love Dr.Shapiro and her team for fear that she will be difficult to make appointments with.

Laura Contreras The best doctors and assistants I have ever met are in that clinic, they have exceptional care, I recommend them to everyone
