UHA Medical Center - Panama City (FL)

Heather Jeter Today was my first visit. I had came in yesterday hoping to be a walk-in however I came during their lunch break. The lady at the desk was very kind and set me up with an appointment for today, because I had to go back to work. When I came in for my appointment today, I had a very short wait, the staff was very friendly and so was Carlos Fernandez. Everyone was kind and respectful and I felt I was taken very good care of. My primary provider has recently passed away and so I was looking for a new doctor. I have switched to Pronto Care and I am looking forward to a good experience based off of how well everything went today. As a side note, the lobby is absolutely beautiful and has such wonderful woodwork in it and was all decorated for Christmas. The office is very clean and the staff was super friendly. I really felt like the staff was very caring.

Karen Robertson We had to have my Mom (90 years old) taken by ambulance due to a serious stroke. The ER staff took good care of her and us, providing as much information as they could as soon as they could. Once they were able to get her in the ICU, that staff took over and also took excellent care of all of us. We especially appreciated the communication provided by the lead Dr. in the ICU. (Im sorry I dont remember her name.) Once it became clear that my Mom would never be able to walk, eat or swallow on her own again, we asked her if she wanted to go to Hospice. (She had always made it clear that she would not want to live a life with so many limitations.) When she said yes thats what she wanted, the ICU night nurse (DJ), immediately contacted the lead doctor and they made arrangements to put her on "comfort care" until Hospice was available. During the 30? minute wait for medication change orders, we were able to tell our mother how very much we loved her and she was able to communicate the same to us. The staff was so respectful of her choice and our support of her choice. They made a very hard time as easy as possible and we are grateful for their care! My mom was able to pass comfortably in her sleep the next day. Again, the staff allowed us time to grieve in the room with her and even brought a bereavement cart with tea, coffee and cookies.

Kimberly Jackson It was worth the wait to get him established as my primary doctor. On my first visit he sat down and spoke to me about my history, my needs and possible avenues for care in the future. It was such a relief to have a doctor actually listen and not rush to the next pt. His staff was also very pleasant! The nurse who took my vitals made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Another great thing.. I didn’t have to wait! They took me back when scheduled which I appreciate so much! I’m so happy to have found a good doctor’s office in this city.

Stephen Lester Dr. Murshed is beyond terrific. He is in my top 3 providers that Ive ever had. He is patient while guiding you through treatment, with kindness, while being affable. The whole staff is marvelous and helpful!

Amelia Deen You are always greeted with a genuine smile and are in a friendly atmosphere. I had carpal tunnel release on both of my wrists...FANTASTIC! Minimal discomfort overall and easy! Dr. Islam and Lauren are awesome! The entire staff and processes are super efficient and each step is well-explained. You feel very comfortable and valued as a patient. They are respectful of your time, extremely responsive and very easy to communicate with. 10 STARS ALL THE WAY!!! Any surgeries I may need in te future, I will definitely look to Dr. Islam first! Thank you!

tina moody Dr. Patel is amazing. He is supportive and he is very knowledgeable. His office staff is always friendly. The office is very clean and comfortable.

Stephanie Lister Dr Flynn and his staff took wonderful care of my daddy!! I appreciate all the love and support they showed. I feel my father lived a whole lot longer than he would have.
