5 /5 Lyanne Y: I have seen Dr Shams a few times now and this has by far been the best care I have received. He listens to what is going on and makes sure I get the best care available. He is very personable and makes a doctors visit less intimidating. If you’re looking for a new doctor, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Shams.

Every time I go to him he makes sure all my questions/concerns are getting answered. He has a positive attitude and great sense of humor. 5 /5 Joe: I have been coming to Dr. Shams’s office for almost 15 years now, and I have nothing but great things to say about him. He cares about his patients and makes sure that all my concerns are addressed. Even when I am having a bad day I know that if I’m going to see Dr. Shams that he will put a smile on my face. His office staff is great and always try to get me in as soon as they can.

5 /5 kirsten bryant: Came in to have my stitches removed and it was the best experience. The waiting room was quiet and clean. It also had a huge fish aquarium with water so clear is was breathtaking and calming. The staff was exceptional throughout the office.. Doctor Shams and his assistant were super nice, engaged with me in great conversation in regards to my visit and had a caring attitude when they removed my stitches. Grateful that a doctors office exists like this. Thank You Again!

1 /5 Kiwi Pea: Dr. Shams has been my Primary Dr for 3 years. Ill get to the point. The Intern will visit with you most of the time. Dr. Shams pops in and out. Nothing ever done, no blood work, no referrals unless you step up and demand this. After a year of him avoiding my problem , I finally had to step up and demand some kind of action. He was rude said he cant do anything about it because its not his profession ( he should have said this the first time OR even asked more questions to determine the right referral?) . my 2nd issue, he said to me in a rude way " so you just want to take the easy way out".. HIS intern looked at him with surprise and looked at me but said nothing and continued to just type. Authorizations (referrals) are a joke.. they would submit my request. I called the office and they state its still pending.. (after 2 months) I called the other office who stated the have not yet received it, and so my Dr. office would resend it to them again and again.. finally I got someone at the other office who told me they actually received it but the codes are incorrect, my Drs office needed to correct this (had my MDs office called them the first time, they would of caught this error and corrected it immediately but sad I had to make the call). Ive done the sleep apnea test at home and never received a response back from the doctors office regarding results and completely forgot about it.. Dr. shams intern looked it up and told him the test results came back a year ago. Dr. Shams told me off for not following up on this with him. Regardless of all the problems with Dr. Shams, it is obvious he does not care about your well-being, he is there just for a paycheck and asks no questions to understand anything. the questionnaire regarding depression you fill out before you go in to see him is a joke, Ive written very negative answers as I was in that moment of wanting to end my life.. He never brought that up during my visit with him. The Intern would read this and advise Dr. Shams regarding my concerns.. Dr. Sham chose to avoid it. The office staff are good ladies but Im getting older and am trying to better my lifestyle. If you are looking for a MD that really cares for your health.. Dr. Shams is not the right one .. but this is just my opinion. youre free to check for yourself.
