San Leandro Hospital: Emergency Room - San Leandro (CA)

1 /5 Barbara Grattan: Went on a Saturday in extreme pain in upper back and down arm. Wait to be called and checked in was about 20-25 min. Was having trouble being in an upright position. Needed to lie down but they only put me in a chair so I tried lying on my legs or on the floor. Dr gave me toradol injection and said they would check back in a few minutes. When they checked back, it had not helped at all so the doctor’s response was “there’s nothing more we can do for you.” It was unbelievable. They sent me home. 2 days later I was in an ambulance going to Eden Hospital. Paramedics gave me fentanyl (with anti-nausea) and Eden gave me morphine, toradol, steroid taper, lidocaine patch and Oxycodone. It took weeks for me too improve from lying on the floor 24/7. It was that bad. San Leandro treated me like I was a drug addict rather than someone with a severe upper back injury. Do NOT go there!

4 /5 Jose j. Paz II: I had to stay overnight, the staff was friendly and the food was awesome. I want to say the quality of food rivaled eden in castro valley. I would give a 5th star, but long wait times and lack of private rooms are important to factors to me

1 /5 Mikhail Tchernychev: Note: they misrepresent themselves as being in Blue Cross network. This is a lie. They are sending bills directly to collections without notifying patient. Regarding the service, it was expensive and useless

1 /5 C H: Came in with a swollen face and couldnt breathe and I asked for an ice pack because my face would continue to swell during the wait and they told me I would have to wait until I get called. Went outside for less than 20 seconds to make a call and they told me I have to wait now because they apparently called my name and waiting 10 seconds was too long. These people are trash. Dont come for an actual emergency. All of these People need to get fired.

1 /5 Elena Mendez: Friendly staff but this place sucks. My symptoms got worse after leaving here not better! Had to bring myself to Highland ER a couple hours after leaving this place & they’re super disappointed that you guys didn’t properly help me.
