Melissa Hocanson I have a 1966 mustang that needed lots of work. It’s my daily driver now. It has been extremely challenging finding a mechanic that first would work on the car and second do a good job. Robert at John’s automotive was my first point of contact and he has been extremely professional, organized and detailed. I came in and explained what I needed and he scheduled a time that I could bring the car in - it wasn’t right away but I appreciated that he didn’t take the car until they were able to work on it. After I dropped off the car they sent me an email with photos and a checklist of things that were good and things that need work. I was very impressed I have been to a lot of mechanics and I have never received a report that detailed. Mike is the mechanic who has worked on my car and has explained in detail what was wrong, what he’s done and what I should expect. It’s challenging working on these old cars but Mike has the experience and expertise needed to get the job done. I love my car and I’m extremely grateful that I found John’s automotive otherwise I don’t think I’d be driving my car. I highly recommend this company. Robert and Mike are the best !!!

They walked me through all the available options without any pressure, and we reviewed them together to find the best fit. I had already shopped around at other places, but they gave me the best deal on my Nexus tires. I was in and out in under an hour—quick and efficient. Huge thanks to James and Art, who noticed my glove compartment wasn’t locking (something that had been a nuisance for months since my last oil change at the dealership). Grant Austin Great for smog, super nice guys. Waiting room could definitely use an update though - no WiFi, water dispenser didn’t have cups, etc. But they will get the smog test done quick and easy, gotta love it!

He explains everything in detail and the cost, the ramifications if the repairs are not done. June Rebecca McCaughey The guys at Marina automotive were very helpful! Super knowledgeable, so kind, and fair. Communication is great! They got me in and out in one day. I went in for a general maintenance check. They checked all kinds of things like fluids oil, tires ll, filters, breaks etc. It did not cover alignment check, but they did recommended me to go get them checked. I will be going back!

Phelan Riessen I went to FTS due to a suspension issue. They took the time to find a manufacturer that had the product since none of the dealers had it in stock at the time. I’ll be honest, I was a bit of a problem customer and unbeknownst to me at the time there was an underlying issue that was caused by the previous repair shop. These guys handled it professionally as best as they could considering the situation. Five stars and I would definitely recommend using FTS to anyone that needs auto repair. Thank you!

Leah Siobhan Couldn’t recommend a mechanic more than this place! Moved down from LA and saw this place had great reviews and needed a few items done to my car. They were able to get my car in super fast and have the work completed in about 2 hours. Their pricing was great but most importantly their customer service made me feel like my concerns about my car were listened to and they didnt try to add on any unnecessary work. Having a mechanic that makes me feel like I’m not getting ripped off and my concerns are heard will be making me go back here for as long as I’m on SD!
