5 /5 Melanie Myers: We had brakes replaced at Autotek and were very impressed. They really took the time to check what actually needed to be fixed/replaced and what could wait. He searched online for best prices for each part. Peter even looked into an oil issue our car was having and researched the warranty for us. He provided some great advice on how to handle the issue, even when it meant us going to the dealership for service instead of his shop. Prices were transparent, they gave a clear estimate of what everything would cost. Friendly and honest. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Reese Whitehead: Best shop I have ever dealt with! I recently brought in my CNG-powered vehicle that was experiencing low power issues, and they were able to get it diagnosed and repaired much quicker than I could have ever expected. Peter is very knowledgeable on all things CNG, and in addition to the repair work, he completed the triennial PG&E tank and fuel system inspection while it was in. I definitely will not hesitate to return for all my future CNG needs!

5 /5 Marlena Segi: I have been a loyal customer of Autotek for 3 years and will continue to be. I even moved to the other side of the bridge and STILL make a trip to Fremont because I dont trust anyone else with my vehicle and the service is TOP TIER. Peter was very kind and knowledgeable from the moment I called him back in 2021. I was referred to him by a friend from Midnight Garage, another local business who was unable to assist me but knew Peter and highly recommended him. Nowadays, young women can be intimidated by male auto mechanics and possibly get ripped off going alone but after speaking with Peter, he was upfront, honest, and had a quiet demeanor about him that helped me to feel like I and my vehicle were in good hands. I gave him insight to what the issues were with my Jeep and he really took his time checking everything out. He also went the extra mile and educated me on what he did as well! His workers are very kind and efficient - they always greet me with a smile and never rush the job. To this day, I still get the same level of care I received as a new customer. 5 /5 Katherine Rubie: Peter is the owner here. He has done work over the years on a total of 4 of our cars (PT Cruiser, 2 VW Bugs, and Honda Fit). He has experience with a number of foreign and domestic cars. He is very honest, straight forward, and trustworthy. He is friendly and very compassionate when his clients come in with problems. He is very fair with pricing and will not do any unnecessary work. If extensive repairs are needed, he will let you know what needs immediate attention and what can wait and for approximately how long they can wait (prioritizing everything), which comes in handy for low-income folks. He even offers a discount if you bring in a bag of food for the Tri-City Volunteers (who he supports). He has a great team of employees that also do great work and are easy to talk to. For those reviews that bad mouth this business I call into question if they are even reviewing the right business. Those reviews never seem to mention key facts about Autotek and this really seems like a red flag to me. Additional reasons are because Peter has a great reputation, and because his former location was in the same complex directly across from another car repair shop with an almost identical name (AutoTech). Though I know nothing about their business, I know this can be confusing to any customer that was seeking out one of these businesses. A word to dog lovers and those fearful of dogs: He does own two dogs that are on the property, but they are very well-mannered and friendly. One is usually off-leash (Ash) but is called back if a customer is nervous about the dog. The other dog is quite shy and will avoid interaction. Ive comfortably petted and played with Ash. Dont let the dogs be a reason to go somewhere else, because the dogs wont be any problem for you. And Peter will always treat you right.

5 /5 Devin Jergentz: This is by the far the best experience I’ve had with a mechanic. Pete (the owner) is honest, cordial, polite, and just overall pleasant to be around. He will let you know exactly what your car needs and will help you to save money/time when possible. He’s even taught me how to assemble parts myself to save the labor fee. Plus, he knows European cars well (I drive an Audi). If you own a European car, you’ll know most mechanics aren’t familiar with their engines. On top of all of those perks, he has his dogs in the shop with him which make for great company. I always recommend Autotek to everyone!
