Sweat Yoga

Ashley Vincent Sweat is the best yoga studio I’ve ever been to. From the challenging and expressive workouts, to the brick wall and candle-lit ambience, to the small details that make the studio unique like the cold towel at the end of class and being able to bring your dog (you leave them in the lobby and the front desk workers keep an eye on them). I really love all this studio embodies and joined after my trial. I highly recommend trying this place out, you won’t regret it!

Gia Manzella Hands down the best workout in Santa Monica! Studio is clean and staff are extremely helpful. Every single instructor has amazing energy and genuinely cares about your experience! Will definitely be my new go to spot, and yes it is worth every $$$!

24 Hour Fitness

Jesus Fajardo Jr. As a 25 year member I have seen the highs and lows thru the years. I really appreciate the hard work the members put in day in and day out to keep a busy 24 hour business up to par. I also bring my 2 boys to there pool where they opened up a swimming clinic for infants and toddlers they a 3rd party. Thank you team!!!

Anytime Fitness

J. Boogie First time here and I was really impressed. The entire gym is fairly large for a boutique commercial gym. It pretty much has everything, A bunch of staple plate loaded machines. Weight stack machines. 2 squat racks 1 platform for Olympic lifts and rack(3rd) 3 or 4 step mills Treadmills Boxing bag Group class areas etc No showers but I saw a bathroom maybe its in there I forgot to check Free lockers . Anyways everything is really clean just bring some headphones its super quiet in there, in fact nobody greets you they just kinda sit in their offices.

Patrick Martin IMO top gym in Santa Monica - newer weights/equipment than Equinox and a fraction of the cost! Solid array of free weights, machines, and cardio equipment + a CrossFit training space and turf for sled work and an outdoor area to take in some of that SoCal Vitamin D! Staff up front are always helpful and friendly, and the gym is as clean as a whistle. Smoothy bar and DJ are the cherry on top! And of course, like everywhere in Santa Monica, full of fit, beautiful people! Can’t comment on the classes because they’re not my thing but seems like they have a large variety with lots going on everyday. Only gripes: no sauna, could use more intense cardio equipment like a Jacob’s Ladder or curved self powered treadmill (assault style), as well as some of the influencer types seem to leave their weights and mats on the ground and then bounce - come on people!

Emily Emmons Pure Barre has become so much more than just a workout for me—it’s a daily practice that gives me an hour to reconnect with myself. Each class is a chance to check in with my mental and physical state, focus on my breath, and let go of anything that isn’t serving my best self. I’m 82 classes in now, and I can honestly say I don’t know what I’d do without it. I’m deeply grateful for this space, this community, and the clarity it brings into my life.

Daratony Fitness

Heather Choi I worked with Stephanie for about 3 years and she completely changed my approach to working out. She makes each session unique and accessible while also adjusting/modifying where needed. She would much rather have you do things the right way - which I totally appreciated!! It was also SO FUN to work with her! I looked forward to our sessions - something I never thought Id ever say about working out. Even when I did NOT want to leave the house, it was always 100% better after our sessions. She also provides meal plans/recommendations without being pushy and provides an emotionally safe environment for her clients. We always start our sessions with a check in "how we feeling" which drives our time together and no matter what Im always laughing and having a great time. I would still be working with Stephanie if I lived in LA but I sadly moved away. Even though Im not there, shes still so supportive and checks in on me. Her attitude and spirit alone motivated me! Miss her!!!!!

Mayly Tao Dean is one of the best Muay Thai instructors in the area. Whether you are trying to build a skill, develop self-defense, or get a good workout in, his charismatic attitude and dedication to his craft shows in how he coaches his students, of any level. Ive been training with Dean for about 6 months now and Ive learned a lot. Looking forward to training more with him!
