1 /5 AJelanE: I have been a member of 24 Hour Fitness for more than ten years and have visited many locations throughout Southern California and even while traveling. I can honestly say this is one of the worst locations I have been to, which is disappointing considering where it is located.
The treadmills are in terrible shape, with many of them creaking, shaking, or showing exposed wires. The weight area is a little better, but there still are not enough machines or free weights to get a good workout compared to other clubs.
The bathrooms are often dirty, with gray puddles on the floor, and the sauna is rarely clean. When they do clean it, it usually happens in the middle of the day on a weekend, which makes no sense. The staff does not seem to care much either. I have seen people walk right in without checking in, which makes me wonder how many of them even have memberships.
I have watched 24 Hour Fitness decline over the years, but this location seems to be falling apart faster than the rest. Unfortunately, since gyms are limited where I recently moved, I have decided to finally and regretfully cancel my membership altogether. It is a shame to see how far things have fallen from what used to be a great gym chain.
