Rachel Gajardo Ashley always does a great job with my nails. Shes very busy and in demand because of this, so its best to call in advance for an appointment or you might have to wait a bit. Theyre also cash only, so make sure to bring cash with you for your appointment. The nails are inexpensive for the level and quality of service that you get. My acrylics are always well done, even, and she does them pretty fast. Highly recommend!!

Ash S I brought my little sister who asked for a full acrylic set french tips with gems and heart design and was quoted $75 which was a good price. However, she switched to gel x without even asking and when asked about it said it was necessary for the designs. I understand gel x is better/faster for gel x designs as I do gel x nails but my sister wanted acrylic nails, which is why we went to a nail salon. The service was awful. They cut her cuticles very sloppy, left residue glue all over her fingers, and snipped her skin (resulting in blood). Because another client came in, she rushed to hurry and when paying, she demanded a tip, asking “do I take the tip out of the card or cash?” no even giving a choice, so I felt pressured to give her a $5 tip.

Evelyn Gonzalez I went to get my nails done with the dip powder and it completely messed up my nails. First, the lady drilled my nails way too much to the point that they felt brittle, weak and a little bit painful. She also took off too much skin around my nails. Two days after being done, I noticed that the powder already started to lift from my nail bed. By the end of the week I had to go to another salon to get them taken off. Its been about a month and my nails still feel very weak and thin. They can easily be bent. I have to keep them short now so I dont accidentally hit them on something. The lady who did my nails was very sweet but messed them up bad. I spent about $60 on nails that didnt last a week. I will never come here again. Id rather drive 20 minutes to Fullerton to get them done by a trusted salon.

Kimberly Van Ive been going to the 90s Nail Bar regularly since they opened and they never disappoint! My go-to nail techs are Amy and Tammy. They both have shape, color, design down to perfection and I always leave here completely satisfied. Its easy to book at appointment and their walk-ins are not too much of a wait. Clean salon and they offer snacks and drinks each time. I was going for a clean and simple off-white look and Amy nailed it. I am so happy. Thank you Amy!

She knew I didn’t really like to talk so she just asked questions here and there to make sure I get the nails I wanted. I really enjoyed the service here! And ended up with the best nails I could ask for. They lasted me for 3 weeks which usually in other places last me for 2 weeks max. The only thing is I don’t like when someone else who isn’t doing my nails changes the price when the nail tech gives me a price. She should have consulted my nail tech before the lady (I believe the one who schedules the appointments) tells me another price. But other than that I loved my nails and will start asking for Hannah. I had gotten glitter French gel-x nail extensions for (originally) 72 but ended up paying (because of the other girl) 82 which is kinda pricy for glittery FRENCH nails since it’s such a simple design.

Vicky Sh I have come to Ocean Spa several times for a manicure/pedicure and always enjoyed the experience. The team is always kind and flexible with my requests (nail art, colors, shapes). I am someone who is easily overwhelmed by nail salons and all the options available, but the stylists here have been patient with me and provided helpful suggestions. It makes for a truly relaxing experience that I don’t often have at other salons and I love walking away with the fun nail designs. The prices here are also very affordable and I often receive discounts (like for my birthday!). I will be back with another nail design request soon!

Katie Bayliss I had a wonderful first time experience getting my manicure and pedicure. Becky and Kim did an amazing job. They took their time to listen to me, take care of my needs, gave me relaxing massages, and beautiful fingernails and toenails. I came to them in a desperate and embarrassing need. One of my big toe nails had been injured months ago and turned black. As it grew out, there was a big gap between the damaged toe and the new toenail. My mother suggested to get acrylic to fill in the gap. I asked Becky if she could help me. She said not to worry. She had this happen to herself before. She asked if it was okay to try to remove as much of the dead toenail as possible which she did! She filed a lot of the black and dead nail away. She then filled it up with acrylic and take a look at my after photo! You cannot tell which big toe was injured! I am so blessed to have meet such caring and loving nail technicians. I went from being ashamed to now being proud and no longer in pain. I asked for a cute design for Halloween and look what they hand painted? Spiders!! I am so grateful for my new nail spot. Don’t wait. Come and they will take care of you well!!!

Maria Velazquez The first time here I was much happier than my sceound time. First time pedi was $18 second time it was $25 for the same color. My acrylics was done by Tina not happy with the shape. They look crooked every single one, first I mentioned my thumbs and acted that I gave up on the shape. They also look like they were done 2 weeks ago. And the worst park in 5 years I have never been cut while getting my nails done until the day Tina did my nails. Her seeing blood didn’t stop her from continuing to hurt my finger.

Stefanie Cullingford Went to this place in a whim, as it was the closest place to my bridal salon. It was amazing! The place was super clean and they got us in fast. The women did a great job. I was impressed them but now it is three weeks later and my toes are still painted!! They did not even do the gel, just a normal pedicure. Because I do triathlons, usually my toes are ruined in one hard run, but this pedicure has survived the weeks of hard training and a race! Totally recommend them!

Rosario Maltbia I have been looking for a new nail salon and saw that this one had a number a of good reviews and decided to give it a go. The Pros: - Walked in on a Saturday 11 am (typically a busy time for a salon) and was seated right away. There was only one other customer. - Prices are cheaper than what I’ve normally seen (Polish Change $8, Gel Manicure $25, French Tip $8 add on) - The mail tech that did my nails (I didn’t get her name) was very detailed and took extra time to do her work. Toe Polish change & Gel manicure with French tip took 1.5 hrs from start to finish. The Cons: - Asked for round nails and got almond shape with deep filing into my nail bed (doesn’t look good in my opinion) - The overall spa did not give off professional vibes. 1) I was greeted by a lady that was in the middle eating and kept eating while walking me around to my seat. 2) Another nail tech was sitting at her station with her feet on the table while on her phone. 3) kids were in the back which is not a problem in my book but their TV and sound for what they were watching/playing was louder than anything else in the salon. The Ok’s/Just FYIs: - Parking is packed on weekends due to number of restaurants in the same plaza -This place does not give off any “spa” vibes. It’s a simple nail salon with nothing special to it. All their equipment & decor just seem outdated, right down to the glitchy TV. If you’re looking for a place to feel pampered or lux spa this isn’t the place for you. Overall: This place will get the job done but it’s nothing more than just ok. Nothing particularly special or note worthy. I’m giving it a 2 stars. The biggest decider of this review bumping up to 3 stars is if my gel manicure actually lasts 1.5-2 weeks. I’ll update my review with how it goes Update! It’s now day 15 and my gel manicure is still holding strong like day 1. Bumping up to 3 stars!

Berenise I liked how they cut my sons hair , my pedi was likeable but my nails was unsatisfactory. First it took almost 3 hours to get my acrylics longest I ever had my nails being done when it was just one color . Nails are clumpy and uneven not a good expirence with getting nails done . I saw all these good reviews about the nails I just had a bad experience and nails where not my liking .

It’s a small salon with only a handful of technicians but they are all so nice and try to be accommodating to our schedule and requests. They can get busy but I’m happy to wait when then service is so good and you feel genuinely appreciated. My daughter likes her nails long with designs and I like short and simple and we’re both always happy. Live the pedicures here as well. They really take the time to clean me up…. I’ma barefoot most the time girl so my heels need extra attention. ;) We will continue to be long time customers here!

Maria Ibarra To be very honest I didn’t like the way they did my pedicure I felt like I could do that myself and everything they offer as extra the charge is crazy, I came here because my regular lady is very busy and I urged came here thinking I was going to receive the same thing (which is my fault lol). They took 15 min just soak my feet dry, cut and did a 3 min massage with stones that weren’t uncomfortable burn and it hurt mostly than relax when my lady she takes 35 min but she takes out all ingrown nails like really she is great in all senses. I won’t come back here, welp I think I learned where not to come anymore!

Invisible Citizen Scam!!! HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!! ILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. They charged an extra $25, yes TWENTY FIVE dollars to put a VERY SIMPLE & quick design on my nails when last time (my 1st time going) it only cost an additional $10. They also didnt tell me until AFTER over halfway through. Careful when you show them a nail design or even picking a color because theyll adjust it as they please, rhankfully I pay attention & had them make it what I asked for. Every little thing that should be part of a pedicure or getting nails done is an additional upcharge. Cutting nails down a little from 2 weeks ago an extra $5, pretty much just making the acrylic edges not super sharp an extra $5, etc etc etc on top of their SUUUUUPER BASIC pedicure which should only be like $18 because it includes soaking in water, a VERY quick foot scrub & nail polish. I would say cleaning up nail bed but that might as well of not even been included because she skipped nails. I have been getting my nails done for decades, I know my cuticles/nail bed needed it so shouldnt have been skipped over.

Leticia $50 for bad shaped nails I think someone that wasnt an actual technician shaped my nails because i asked for square shaped nails and even asked the sir to fix the edges but he said they were OK & when it came to painting them, he had to ask someone else to do it. Dont think the price was fair considering they dont look good. pretty upset and wont come here again.

Will be coming back because it’s close to my house. Prices are always a mystery until you show up to a salon & they are not even the ones I needed to know that are listed on the wall. For reference I paid $35 for a regular mani & pedi (no gel) + $3 for gel removal. They have more expensive options but I just wanted something for the weekend. FYI extra charge fee for gel for mani is $10 and $10 for pedi. Tip: Pay with Zelle or Venmo to skip $1 credit card fee.

Darius Jackson It sucks because I use to frequent here often. But I started noticing how unhealthy and unhygienic the place was. For example multiple tools never being cleaned properly let alone at all. One day I noticed my toenails becoming unhealthy and spotty in color. I ended up going to my doc and he asked me if id been to a nail salon and knew instantly (since this is the only nail salon I came to) He confirmed I had a toenail fungus and prescribed a topical antibiotic and it cleared. Havent been back since and it sucks! Thinking I should call and let them know. I always forget the lady who owns the place name but im tempted to because i miss my pedicure lady!

Stacy I never like to write bad reviews nor do I even like to write reviews but I decided to try this place out since it had some great reviews but I never expected to get such bad quality nails. First off, I appreciate their services and how friendly the staff are. But it also just seemed like they scammed me for how over priced they are. When I was getting my nails done I was in pain when she was buffering so hard and using the drill to shape my nails. Never have I ever seen some using the drill to shape nails. And shape it underneath my nail?? I’ll let you all be the judge of it. I’m sorry but I’m not ever coming back to this salon. Such a poor job on manicures/full set. Pedicures are pretty decent here but I’m sure you can find another salon with a better price. In case you were wondering it was $90 in total for gel pedicure & full set . Both French tip.

Mindy Le Cozy spot with good price for basic manicure ($18). Ventilation not great so be careful if sensitive to polish fumes. Quick service and good attention. Sanitized metal tools for clipping, but I suggest bringing your own nail file and buff. Good pre-manicure nail soak and hand massage.

Patti Jo A lot of places have a lot of hype and get you in and out. I had 3 things done starting with eyebrows. She listened to what I wanted and took time to talk me through procedure and took time picking the color. She did it in such a precise, caring, gentle manner. My pedicure was fabulous and even changed a color and she had no problem with it. My massage with it felt great. My nail tech did an excellent job in changing the shape I wanted and applying carefully and took her time. Best experience Ive had at a nail salon and Im 65 and so I have had many. Thanks for making this old lady feel fabulous. For what you get well worth the price and probably the best prices in town with very experienced people.

Madison Ahlgren The time for services varies too much. Last month took 1 hour for gel mani AND pedi. Today it took TWO hours for JUST my gel fill. I didnt even get to have my toes done like i scheduled. Prices are different every time i go. My manicure does not look like its worth 2 hours. They are beautiful, but the fact that it took two hours is ridiculous when i have gotten both services done in under an hour before.

Magali Gutierrez I went to Southcoast Nails for the second time and both time the staff was super friendly and attentive, and the Spa looks clean. The first time I got my nails done I was a little disappointed because one of my nails chipped after 3 days but decided to give them another chance. A gel manicure and regular pedicure is $65 for price reference.

The first set came out great, the second set I hate. I called and they were nice enough to tell me they would fix them, but I decided I was gonna have to go elsewhere. They are very nice and came into a new territory blindly, but they need to step up their work. Alot of potential, Im just disappointed.
