Stephanie Sakoda Over the past year and a half, Ive had the pleasure of experiencing truly remarkable hairstyling sessions with Daniel. The highlight of my most recent visit was the "money piece" hairstyle that he skillfully crafted for me. The colors seamlessly intertwined with my natural hair, resulting in a look that felt uniquely mine yet remarkably trendy. What truly sets Daniel apart is his unwavering commitment to making the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. With each brushstroke, he explains the process in detail, ensuring that I was not only informed but also engaged in the transformation. But it isnt just his technical prowess that leaves me in awe; its also his ability to get me relaxed while in the chair. In a world that can sometimes feel overly critical, his kind words and genuine compliments lift my spirits and leave me with a sense of confidence that radiates far beyond the salon walls. He treated not just my hair but also my self-esteem, and for that, I am incredibly grateful. Not to mention, I am so TENDER HEADED I have a difficult time enjoying the wash/dry process of most sessions, but Daniel treats my scalp like a newborn baby. I cant stress enough how wonderful it is to have a hair stylist who understands the importance of communication, kindness, and expertise. The "money piece" hairstyle I left with was a testament to his skills as a master stylist, but the feeling of empowerment and beauty he left me with was the real masterpiece. If youre looking for a hair stylist who is not only a talented professional but also a compassionate soul, I wholeheartedly recommend Daniel.

Rhiannon Bogart Danny did such an amazing job that I’ve received several compliments in the last few days. He really pays attention to detail and was able to correct some not great work I had done previously by another salon.

Sindy M. I came here after some disappointing hair styling and hair coloring at a different high end salon and was absolutely stunned by Geraldine’s work on my curly hair. For someone with curly hair it’s hard to find places that can work with it but Geraldine did such an amazing job without me having to tell her, she knew what to do with it so that it framed my face well and so that no one place was bulky and heavy. Will definitely be coming back ! Prices are great too !

Cheyan Rosally Stylist was nice, but totally cut my face framing pieces way too short. The lady also didn’t blend it out that well, so it ended up looking blunt. As someone who has curly hair, I wouldn’t exactly recommend this place unless you tell them what you want to the T and they KNOW how to work with curly hair. I’m still trying my best to like it.

Danni98 I love this place. Its very clean and the woman who braided my hair was so nice. My hair looks beautiful, and it feels like it will last for a while. I showed the beautician the style I wanted, and it looks even better than the picture! A lot of places would have your head hurting after getting tight braids, but the braids here dont hurt at all! I highly recommend this place.

Anita U Didnt even get to use their services, but my experience was still enough to keep me from coming here-one I think about more than Id like lol. I booked an appointment with a stylist for a hair cut and she confirmed 8am at least 3 times over the phone, so I felt confident despite seeing the salon hours differed online. I get there with time to spare and wait about 25/30 min (where it gets to be about 8:25am) and the salon is empty. No one is there, Im just waiting outside. I thought that half an hour was enough of a wait (as well of a waste of time and resources), so I decided to go home and when Im already on my way back she calls me saying it was at 8:30, when she said "8am" over the phone 3 times, confirming 8 for the time, herself.

Midori Lambert Guadalupe is magical. I showed her a picture for an idea and she worked her magic on my hair. I love love love how it turned out. And she gave me lots of styling tips for my new haircut. I will definitely go back to her.

Elizabeth D. Love this place in Point Richmond. Lupe does a great job with cut and color and is a wonderful person. She is the owner and created a healing environment. I had my first massage with Rosa and it was sooo relaxing. I felt very good the next day too. The first time is $56, an hour massage. Regular price is $70. She gives a 20% discount to handicapped clients. I have a boot on my foot for a broken bone and I get the discount til it heals! It seemed to be a healing experience for me.

My Richardson What an amazing hair salon and venue! Wyvonne and her staff are absolutely incredible. The salon is so relaxing and such a vibe. I enjoyed my service from beginning to end and loved being taken care of with so much love and care. I’ve also seen how they have transform the salon numerous times into stunning events such as weddings, birthdays, and more. Ciara s I wouldn’t recommend this place. I went here twice for a simple wash and blow dry and was seen by two separate stylists. Neither of them washed my hair properly and left dandruff in it. I do have mid back length type 4 hair but if you are a professional this shouldn’t be a real issue. I really like the salon it looked nice and the ppl were quite nice a courteous but I came there for a service and was very displeased with the results 2 times.

Branden Bradley This is by far the best Salon in the Bay. The workers are punctual and it’s always a positive experience when it’s to for me to get a retwist. Everyone in there treats you like family. It’s no surprise this studio won Best Hair salon in Richmond .

krista s I was referred to Beauty by Nature Hair Studio by a friend. Based on the pictures and reviews I made my decision to book an appointment. I want to share my positive experience with someone looking to start or continue their hair journey. The boutique spa vibe will have you sleep under the dryer lol. The salon is well maintained and in a safe location. All of the stylists are genuinely friendly and professional. There’s always soft (non-offensive) music playing in the background. The entire staff works collectively to create the best experience possible for their clients. Complimentary snacks and beverages just adds to the amazing attention to detail and care of their clients. Wyvonne is amazing!!! She is very attentive and has great communication skills. I value her judgment and respect her craft. I always leave her chair with an hairstyle that exceeds my expectations. Beauty By Nature is by far the best salon experience I’ve ever had. Sumatra kindly agreed to style my hair while Wyvonne was scheduled to be out of town. Sumatra is an awesome stylist. I left her chair more than satisfied and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her if Wyvonne is on vacation. I give Beauty by Nature 5 STARS.

Willy Tk Most unprofessional salon I’ve ever been to. The owner and her mother are some of the most messed up people I’ve ever met. If you’re looking to come here don’t . They will treat u terrible as well as not even do what you ask for your hair . If you’re paying the money you should get what you want but they’ll do whatever they want and still overcharge you . Terrible salon .

Leata Alataua WORST HAIRCUT EVER! UNEVEN & UGLY!! I wish I could give them zero stars. Since the owner cut my hair!!! I walked in to get my hair colored and unfortunately couldnt because of the previous color in my hair. So they were very informative on the way hair should be colored and treated so I decide to just get my hair cut since I needed one bc of my split ends and was told to come back for a later time for hair color since I did not have the time to get my hair colored with the process they said it would take. BUT.....although I did not have time for a hair color treatment, the owner must not have had time for my HAIR CUT!! She rushed thru my haircut, started cutting before spraying, and said she would take off an inch but it was clearly more than that! My hair was literally to the end of my back, and I walked out with it at the tip of my shoulder blade, and it was uneven. REALLY UNEVEN!!! Who the hell gets a haircut and still has split ends?!?!! And again the cut was HORRIBLE!!!!! I will be cancelling my hair color appointment here. No need to go back for a big process like that if they couldnt even get something as simple as a haircut correct!

silvia sobal My haircut is a disaster! It is not what i asked for . The hair products used to finish the style were of such poor quality that by the time I got home i had to wash my hair again to remove whatever the" hair chopper"applied to it! I thought once at home and with my regular hair products my style would start taking better form but i was wrong. My haircut is totally disastrous!! I will never go there again and certainly would never refer anyone!

rodena williams Courtney from studio 27 braids were really cute and neat when I first started going to her. She said she didn’t do kids under 12, but she braided my 8 year old hair, for me anyway. Her prices are way too high, for her to not guarantee her work and to change the style. She charged me $85 for regular French braids that were too tight, when I requested feed in braids. And then when I saw a white bump in my kid hair, said she will do it over for a discount price.

Heidi Culver She messed up on my hair color. No showed to our scheduled appointment to have it corrected, said she would just give me a refund. I waited for her and left crying and so upset about this ugly hair color. Everything she did was the opposite of what I asked. I wanted light color, layers and cut into a v shape. Hella dark mermaid hair, yellow streaks, no layers and cut stright across. TO THIS DAY, NO APOLOGIES AND ZERO REFUND. She ruined my week visiting my family and my hair. Never ever would recommend her again. Another 250.00 to have it corrected by someone who knows what their doing! Give me my money back lisa. You owe it to me!!

Gustavo Barrios Don’t do a Perm in here! If you want to save money, do it and go somewhere else where they are certified technicians. If I knew this a month ago I could have save my hair and money. I like helping small business specially if it’s a Latino business and honestly it was bad, the lady never listened to my requests and she did what she wanted and because of that my hair doesn’t have a loose perm hair wave that I want it. I wanted a natural looking wave or curl. Now my hair It’s super curly and it’s not manageable to fix. So frustrating, I even bought her Cream that she suggested and guess what, my hair is so dry and stiff everytime I wear it. It’s so disappointing trusting her with what I thought specializes for, and what she thinks she knows. Save your hair and your money and go somewhere else.

Johanna Ferman Above all is a hidden gem in downtown Point Richmond.... a one of a kind nail spa (!)... In this post-pandemic period -- with so many spas having closed or having high staff turnover -- Above All shines brightly for retaining its very relaxing, very warm and personal character as well as being exceptionally clean (without feeling sterile!). Amy, the manager is always welcoming and responsive and the staff -- Rose, Vi and Tina -- have been here for years now. This says a LOT about the place. They work together beautifully -- and they do lovely work. I havent taken photos recently, but will next time -- but they do expert mani-pedis, including optional/additional (completely worth it in my book) scrubs, hot rocks, and hot wax. The chairs provide shiatsu massage -- but the staff do additional neck, leg and hand/arm massage. I always look forward to going for my manis and pedis with them -- and so appreciate their excellence combined with the welcoming ambiance theyve created as a team.

P O I put 5 stars so that my post can be seen.. I would not recommend this place for hair coloring. I went in for high lights and at the end she left the bleach on way to long to where my hair was like gum all mushy and stretchy and weird.She did not want to blow dry my hair nor style it. I told the owner that something wasn’t right.. just gave me a look like oh well nothing I can do.. and still wanted to charge me 200 dollars.. eventually had to go to another salon and get treatment because literally I dried my hair and couldn’t brush it because my hair would flake off.. NEVER AGAIN!

Daniel Harrington Great place to get a haircut. Son was able to point to two guide photos on the wall and the hair experts at Lillys were able to merge them into a great style; my haircut was easy but it came out better than I had anticipated. Keep up the terrific work and the more than fair prices! I really appreciate the hair stylists (aka barbers) at Lilys! May be a short wait but it is worth it - go visit the organic juice place a few doors up 23rd St or Andys Donuts a block away if you want something while you wait. Glad we found a trusted place and people to help us look presentable and confident. Lillys = Fully recommended!

Danelia Lopez Brought my mom here, she has curly hair. She requested a trim and they chopped her hair up not in a good way. She also asked them for a hydration treatment but they pretended to give her a treatment for 5 minutes and charged her $75. Very unprofessional. Will never comeback.

Genesis MZ I came there to get an updo for a wedding and I was part of the bridesmaids so we all had to get the same hairstyle but the hairstylist didn’t do my hair as it should’ve been like it’s seen in the picture. Instead I got this mountain size nest on top of my head. It was suppose to be a simple half up with a braid that’s suppose to be low with curls. But the curls didn’t last long at all like if they didn’t put enough hair spray and they made it too high which didn’t look at all right. But everyone else was more consistent but the hairstylist I had made mine poorly.

My sister was referred here n when she told me she went n stripped color out her hair n re colored I was worried it would be damaged but it wasnt n turned out beautiful. When I went to my appt there the Owner greeted me n I had appt with Evelyn. Both ladies were very welcoming n shop was kept up clean n nice. The ambiance is what sold me.
