Quania Jones I recently took my niece and her favorite girls to Bougie Babies Nail Spa, and it was an absolute dream! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was luxurious, yet still totally welcoming for the kids. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the space itself is beautiful. The girls were treated like royalty, each getting their own mani-pedi with non-toxic products. They were able to relax and enjoy their favorite movie while getting pampered, and the pizza they served after was a huge hit. While they were having their princess moment, I got to kick back in the lounge and sip on a mimosa, it was pure bliss. If you’re looking for a place where the little ones can feel extra special and you can enjoy some downtime too, Bougie Babies Nail Spa is the perfect spot. It’s more than just a pampering session it’s a whole experience that everyone will love! I highly recommend!

Vanessa C Adorable! I was hesitant when I was told "I booked the kids a spa day in Richmond" but honestly this is such a cute resource for kids. A nail salon all for them! You definitely got to book an appointment and street parking is limited, we parked on residential around the corner. Lots of colors and lots of fun stuff for them to do like the tablets, the movie and the snacks.

Lorena Hoogsteden I’ve been getting my nails done by Deanna for 6 months now, and hands down (see what I did there...) I will not trust anyone else with my nails. She’s not a nail tech, she’s an artist. Absolutely brilliant. On top of that, Deanna’s super precise with her gel application, so my manicures have lasted up to 5 weeks, and I’m pretty rough of my hands. I’ve never experienced any chipping or lifting, and my natural nails have gotten so much stronger and healthier. Bonus points, Deanna is one of the coolest humans I’ve ever met, and she’s a blast to hang with.

Miss Aspen Deanna is the BEST! She takes her time and cares for the health of your nails, nothing compares. Once you go here you’ll never want to go to those quick chop shops again. I’ve never had natural nails as long or as strong since I’ve been with her.

Kathryn Post Cannot say enough how much I recommend Deanna! Her shop is super clean, has great music, and she offers coffee/tea/etc while you get your nails done. She is meticulous and while the prices are higher than your average shop, it is totally worth it! I see a huge difference in my nail game - not only are they longer and stronger than ever, but Deanna always has a variety of colors, charms, foils, and other cool nail art to choose. She does hand painting of florals, designs, characters, etc. I wont go anywhere else! The owner is so nice and offers great conversation - you feel like an old friend coming in rather than a client. She puts you at ease and is able to make a 3 hour appointment fly by. Plus, her manicures LAST. Ive had my manicure last 5 weeks with no chips, lifting, or need for a color fill. Pretty amazing!

Special shout out to the receptionist (Im sorry I didnt catch their name!) who got me a tea during my treatment, that was really appreciated! Ill definitely be back.

Taqwa I have been going to Saunders & James for around 6 months, and cannot recommend them enough. They are kind, professional, and the salon is so peaceful. I have gotten standard manicures and pedicures, gel manicures and pedicures, and builder gel manicures, and have been satisfied with each of these services (highly recommend builder gel). I see Indra on a regular basis, she is wonderful. In addition, their scheduling policy is respectful to both clients and the staff. Thank you to Michelle and staff for their service.

Camila Dolores I got a gel pedicure. The experience and service were fine. The salon is very clean and well kept. The shaping of my nails wasnt done well or uniformly. Both my big toes are chipped despite the service being done only four days ago. Thats super disappointing for a $143 pedicure.

Conery Wilbanks Going to Saunders and James is a real treat. The atmosphere is serene and pleasant from the moment you enter. They are always right on time which is a departure from many lesser salons Ive visited in the area. You have the option to choose the level of experience of your manicurist which in turn allows you a little flexibility in the price you pay. In my experience, all levels provide excellent service. Each employee takes great care and pays careful attention to detail. The provided tea is also a nice touch. Being able to clearly explain your needs and have them understood and catered too is a huge plus. Great color choices and attentive staff make this a premium experience worth the slightly higher price. This is now our go to spot for Mani/Pedis!

Kyla Garrow I’ve come here a few times and they do a great job. I love that there are organic and natural options for services and everyone that has helped me has been so nice and also thorough to make sure I get exactly what I wanted. I brought in a picture of a manicure that I liked for a wedding I was in and they exceeded my expectations with the execution! See photos for how they turned out. I have tried a few different services including gel manicure and the coconut spa pedicure. I love the lotions that they use (made in house!) and will continue to come back for more.

I have yet to find a good nail salon in my area so I decided to come back to organic nails and I was not disappointed the technician did a great colorful French manicure. The staff was friendly, and the place was clean. Free of chemical smells. I will be back again.

I’ve never had my gel-x last more than three weeks at other places but I could easily go 6 with Amy’s nails. Also love all the other girls at the salon!! Holly Wehrman I really love the Nail Suite! Everyone is friendly and Emily and Amy do such an amazing job with my gel extensions! Pedicures are extremely relaxing and in semi-private rooms, which is great for the socially anxious lol.

Jacqueline Waizani The Nail Suite is the best nail salon in the Bay Area! They have a healthy, safe environment for all of their staff and customers by not using shellac or acrylic for nails. (All their nail polish is ORGANIC) They have some very talented nail techs as well and everyone is kind! The location is also great for me and its never hard to access. Not to mention, making an appointment is simple because they use the Square app. I just click a button every time I want a new appointment. I go to them for GelX & their Aprés GelX when I want longer nails. They actually last forever and do NOT damage my nails like acrylic. Again, staff is great and the spot is extremely clean! Wailani Sung Second time going to BT Nails and Spa and I am really happy with the results. I had the dip powder manicure and gel pedicure and everything came out perfect. I even tried the nail designs since I saw the pictures on their website. My manicurist Van came up with a pretty design for me right on the spot. Definitely going back.

Lauren Meier I love this nail salon. They do a great job with every crazy nail design picture that I bring in for them to replicate. I tried a ballerina shaped nail this time and Ni took great care to shape every nail exactly how I asked and give me a GREAT nail design. The person that runs the front desk is always gracious and even checks in with you to make sure that you’re not running over your meeter time. I would give this salon more stars if I could.

Crystal We came in a large group and made appointments in advance. Even through the hustle and bustle every nail tech delivered. Quick mentions: they provide a receipt so that IF your nails break in two weeks you can come back for them to fix it free of charge. Pay cash and they give you a stamp card. Tracy helped one of the girls and did such a good job.

Xxammi Nation I called last minute they said the price was $50 for acrylic, I ended up paying $70 so I didnt have enough to tip unfortunately. they took me in, i showed them a pic and they got it spot on. I think my nail tech was Tim he did an amazing job for a last minute thing!! I recommend getting your nails done here! The nail techs here were very nice. I wish I could remember what the red color was because it is now my favorite color. They have ample amount of colors for you to choose from. Overall I give this place 5 stars and will be going back.its very hard to find a nail salon I actually like. Thank you lucky v staff!

Rene Cain I have been going to Lucky V for 8 years and over the last year their service has become unprofessional and sub mediocre at best. My last experience, when I took a friend with me, marked the last time I will go. My friend and I both had appointments booked ahead, the 2 people providing the pedicure were not helpful on color, they were disrespectful and demeaning, rushed us through like animals. My friends appointment was for a Mani/Pedi but they left her sitting (after the Pedi) for 10 minutes without directing anyone to begin her Mani...after 15 min, we left. Nick, the owner was not there, so I dont know if that influenced the girls lack of customer service. In the past I paid their exorbitant prices because the service was good but NOT anymore. I was very disappointment after so many years of loyal patronage. Hopefully for other patrons sake they will read this and go back to being GOOD!

Maya Kulkarni I love this place! My nails are always immaculate and my gel manicure lasts at least 3 weeks, sometimes close to 5! They are able to do simple nail art which is fun. The staff here are friendly and efficient. I really appreciate that they provide these gloves for you to wear when you put your hands under the UV light to cure — helps prevent UV skin damage.

Mrz. Brooks This is definitely different from any place that Ive gone to in reference to esthetics. However, this was an amazing pedicure that Ive had in my life. The fact that they have so many pedi choices, hot stones, and parrifin wax makes this place worth visiting. The prices are decent, and they take their time to ensure that you are satisfied. I will definitely go back next month to try a different pedicure.

One of the things I appreciate most about Blooming Nail Salon is its cleanliness and organization. Ray G Very disappointed with my experience here. I went in for a basic pedicure and was shocked to see that it was priced at $90. I decided to do gel, and since my friend booked the appointment for me as a regular pedicure, they told me they would not have time to do a basic French tip. I didn’t think it would be an issue to switch to gel since, in my experience, salons usually ask in person which one you want, and it doesn’t take more time. The technician was nice enough to say she could still do the French tip, but I don’t understand why it was a problem in the first place, especially since the salon was nearly empty and no one was waiting after me. I also expected a small extra charge for the French tip but was surprised to find out it was $20 extra. According to their pricing, the pedicure should have been $65, and with the French tip, it should have totaled $85, but I was charged $90. I find this price kind of wild for a basic pedicure. Not only was it overpriced, but the quality was nothing special or out of the ordinary. To make matters worse, the technician went too deep under my nail, causing pain and discomfort in my toe since my appointment on Friday (it’s now Tuesday night). It’s been uncomfortable to wear shoes, and the pain has persisted for days. Overall, I felt overcharged for a mediocre pedicure that ended up hurting my toe. I would not return.

bianca Walker Here are my pros and cons with my experience today at this nail salon. PROS : place looks very clean and beautiful , I LOVE the pink and floral look it has . They were very quick in starting once I entered , I got a manicure and pedicure and the two ladies handled my feet and hands with care . When I booked online I left notes saying not to do Cudical work ( I do it at home to avoid cuts because my cutical get very dry and its never a fun experience getting cut when they do your nails ) and not to use the hard scrub for the sols of my feet ( I am very ticklish) . They kept my notes in mind and did a lovely job and following through with my notes . Made me feel heard . They offered complimentary water / tea and coffee which was a lovely touch and the stuff they used to sugar scrub me feet ? Such a beautiful and wonderful floral smell , I felt so pretty and pampered. The staff was very nice and seemed very caring when I was there . Now the CONS : what I wanted was a simple chrome look ( no designs or extra stuff ) and their options on chrome was limited ( in my opinion ) and when I asked them if they can do it on clear base so it can be more transparent rather than on a solid white color , they looked at me like I was crazy and said straight out no. I know my manicurist tried explaining to me why it couldnt be done but Ive had it done at other nail salons before so Im not sure if its because of the lack of color options ? Or the quality of the chrome powder they have that doesnt not go on vibrant ? Or the lack in experience and knowledge ?Whatever the case is , the ladies tried to figure out a way to get it as close to what I wanted ( they said we could do pink nude ) so Im happy that they attempted to make it work but the initial feeling of making me feel like what I was asking for what just unheard of is what left a bit of a bitter /awkward after taste for the rest of the experience . I always try to find a place that keeps up with modern designs and looks and it seems like if they freaked out over a simple chrome look ? Looks like the staff needs to do some homework and up their experience . I say this with the most respect because I appreciate the staff for the work they put in but if you are going to work doing nails , does it not make sense to always be learning and being able to give more modern designs and wider varieties for your clients instead of staying with the typical french tip and solid color styles ? I dont know , just something I always would think should be something key and important for your clients . I didnt like that they charge you twice for chrome if you want it on both hands and feet so that turned my most basic look I have ever gotten as far as manicure and pedi into a total of $200 plus extra for tiping the girls of course . Its been a minute since Ive gotten my nails done and maybe the prices just keep rising but for a basic look and basic care ? Im on the fence about that and it makes me a little concerned on if I want to go back when I want something a little more with designs and dazzle since that Is normally what I go in for. I did get cut on my pinky and it was a deep cut . I dont hold that on to my manicurist because at the end of the day Im expecting to get cut regardless. Its just bound to happen and Im just glad it was just on one finger and not multiple cuts so I give my ladies the love and support they deserve for todays visit . Overall experience was great in itself but I guess the price to pay for basic /natural stuff is going up so if you dont mind spending the money for it , I would say this is a great place . I find it a beautiful spot overall and I wish I was able to come back a lot more but we shall see . At the end of the day , I love how clean my nails look , If it wasnt for the cons , I would give all 5 stars .

Rian Dindzans I cant add a picture because I cant get a good picture of them but my nails look amazing and Ive been absolutely delighted by them since I got them! I went in on Dec 4, 4:30 pm, and was assisted by the lovely Lainey! This was my first time getting a basic pedicure and my first time getting UV gel nails, and I could not be happier with how gentle and thorough the process was! I use a power wheelchair and couldnt transfer out, so when I signed up for my appointment I let them know about my situation. They were ready for me before I even went in! Due to not walking my feet are very sensitive, and Lainey was incredible. Her job with the cats eye was also amazing, and its lasting a really long time! I cant wait to go back for my birthday! The tables were high enough that I could pull up facing forward with my chair and lean just a bit forward so she could do my nails. Next to the pedicure chairs was an open space, so I parked my wheelchair there and they brought over two stools and a portable foot tub with hot water, and lined with a plastic bag to ensure hygiene. The door is not automatic but the receptionist was very attentive and kind, and made sure to hold the door open for me both on my way out and on my way in! The front desk is a little high for most wheelchair users, so if you use a wheelchair too you may need to ask for help using the card reader. Total cost of basic pedicure + gel manicure + nail polish removal + cats eye design came out to be $120. Well worth it in my opinion!

City Mom In The Burbs This is my fourth visit and the service and talent are very consistent. The atmosphere is extremely pleasant and the technicians are professional. Nara was my manicure technician, she is meticulously and precise. Gana was my pedicure technician, she was the same caliber as Nara, foot massage was amazing. The best experience with the best team. JSKINNV 115 for these nails...they arent even all the same length. My French tip is crooked. For the look of the salon I thought itd be walking out with beautiful nails there is nothing luxurious about this gel x set of nails. Do not recommend

Ksenia Klochkova Very clean and modern venue with nice chairs and drink options. The staff is very friendly, caring, and pay attention to your wants and needs. The quality of work is way better than in most places, but some details are not done to perfection (evenness of gel, cuticle, evenness of nail shape and length). A big issue was that I called ahead to ask if I need an appointment to do mani and pedi, and I was told that I can come in without an appointment. However, it took them close to 3 hours to do the services, although the procedures took a little over an hour. They have a separate staff at the bar that only does mani and another staff that does pedi in the chairs. So, it takes a lot of time to do both especially on a Friday night. So come during the week. Overall, great place! I will definitely come back, but will try to schedule an appointment and will avoid Fridays at all cost.

heather C This was my first time coming to this spa and my last time!! I had a pedicure and gel manicure and eyebrows waxed. The service was friendly, but the gel manicure didn’t even last 24 hours, polish chipped immediately off. The polish on the toes chipped same day!!! I paid decent money for all of these services and was NOT pleased with the services except the eyebrows!!!

Alesha Bell The service was great. The owner Marcela was very detail oriented. The staff take their time and dont rush anything. They sanitize everything before and after use. They are kind and friendly they even offered me drinks and snacks. i got a fill and a pedicure for only 90 dollars which is relatively inexpensive. The owner gave me some kind words and took pictures to share on social media.

Joan Estep I called ahead to see if they could fit me out on a Saturday afternoon and they told me they were all booked up, and recommended I come in on another day. I had a very tight schedule so I was going to find somewhere else, but they she me know they could fit me in on Sunday at 10 AM when they open. When I arrived, there was one manicurist on staff, and someone else getting their nails done and who was about halfway thru. The manicurist let me know that they were appointment only so I double checked to make sure I was at the right place, as this was my first time there. I let her know that I spoke with someone the day before, and they booked me for an appointment at 10 am that morning. She didn’t know why they said that and she was the only person there she wouldn’t be able to help me for another hour. Very frustrating experience considering I was going to find somewhere else, and the owner insisted that I come in and would fit me in when they actually did not have the space or capacity to do so.

Paola Merino Marcela is Amazing!!!!!!!! Love this place, recently changed nail spots and let me tell you this place really cares about you leaving happy. Marcella took her time and I appreciate the fact that she’s a perfectionist. My nails are beautiful, I’ll be seeing her again in two weeks.

Jacqueline Waizani I found this nail salon based on how well they are rated in the Richmond-San Pablo area. I needed affordable, easy access & most importantly GORGEOUS nails. And that is exactly what they did. I did a gel manicure and this is the first time in my experience doing gel that I haven’t had them peel off or chip. All of her nail products were clean, organized & organic. I could not believe her prices were so affordable especially for the same service. They deserve the most & Marcela was incredibly kind and professional.

morgan kempf Went here for the first time and was very pleased with how everyone made sure I was getting what I wanted. There was some slight confusion on my part as to what I wanted and the nail technicians were very patient with ensuring I was well cared for. Great price and wonderful quality. I did a walk-in and they were able to fit me in right away. I will definitely be back. I don’t think my nails have ever looked better!!

Beanbag141 Place looked clean, people were friendly enough, but when it came to removing my old set of acrylics, they just ripped them off. Like the nail tech took an extension, wedged it between the natural nail and the acrylic and then just popped it off. It damaged my natural nail pretty badly. It felt like the nail tech was rushing the whole time and therefore the nails themselves looked good but not great. One of my nails also already popped off just a few days after getting them done. Overall, the experience was not worth the price and I will not be returning.

Renee Choi Have been coming here for more than 10 times (?) now but lately I feel like the quality has gone down. Not all technicians have the same procedure. One mishandled the drill tip and made me bleed very badly near the edge of my nail. The place didn’t feel 100% clean, when they don’t sanitize the tools between use. The reason why I decided not to return is their lack of price transparency. I normally pay $50 but they charge me $65 at the till last time, and I was told removal costs $10 and another thing they added on top costs $5. Would have been nice to know before hand.

Lei Always an amazing experience at Valley nails. Their services are wonderful and you really can get almost any design you can think of. They have so many products to use and their pedicures are detailed. Every tech that I have gotten here is talented and takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. Jennifer and May in particular are 10/10 amazing !!! Would recommend to anybody!

Caitlin Gaustad Jennifer gave me the best gel dip manicure I’ve ever had. She took the time to understand what shape and color I wanted, and I truly felt like I received a value service for the price. I’ve been to several nail salons and rarely feel fully satisfied with my nails when I leave. I asked for round, natural nails that are low maintenance enough to grow out a bit. Jennifer helped me pick #9 from Nails By John with a clear base and a “cotton candy” chrome-like top coat. I love how my nails turned out. I’m always annoyed when places don’t cover your full nail so I am happy she was so thorough and painted the full nail bed (you can tell from the video). She’s also super easy to talk to and it made the whole experience really pleasant. I’ve finally found a favorite nail expert to see regularly! Adding another photo to show that Jennifer nailed the color I brought in from Pinterest. She custom mixed dip powders to give me exactly the fall vibe I was going for.

Marsha Anderson I always have a great experience and great customer service when I go my favorite technician is Sol. Shes a technician and training from the pictures that you see she did my nails, and I was very pleased. I ask everyone that has the pleasure of getting her for technician if youre in a hurry, use a more experienced technician Sol is in training and it takes time and shes only going to get better with experience so please be patient if you happen to get her shes very kind person and does a great job, you will grow to really appreciate her. Remember we all had to start somewhere so please be kind and give her some encouragement.. shes my go-to girl. The overall shop is clean the technicians are super super nice.

Joanna Gummery I love getting my nails done here, they are so friendly and warm. Been coming for a few years and love to see Nancy or Tina, but everyone is great and I know Ill get a top-quality mani/pedi no matter who I see. I love the care and attention they put into the health of my nails too, especially since I started doing an acrylic layer (which makes my frequent color changes so much easier than the dip powder).

Mary Medrano Michael freestyle my nail most of time and never disappoint!! Very detailed and nice guy. May for my pedis. Best foot and leg massage! They give you wine too.

Satsujin Haruno Went here for the first time and everyone was so very nice and respectful! They did my nails as close to the reference picture as they could, it was all hand drawn and turned out prettier than the original in my opinion! They took their time but the pace was still very steady and I was in and out in lesser time than I originally thought! The place is kinda small and theres not a lot of parking but Ive now found my regular spot!
