Lena Mireles I came to Zule as a botched red head a decade ago in Monrovia. She fixed my color and I continued to return monthly. Eventually I transitioned to blonde. Im a natural brunette. It was after much discussion. She takes the time to explain/educate and you. Zule wants you to know the pros and cons of what youre asking for. She cares about her clients (their lives and hair). I took my daughter to Zule for her first hair cut at age 5. She gave her the royal treatment. Before she moved away, she made sure I had another hair dresser she trusted to hand me off to. luckytown I travel extensively and hadnt had a cut or root touch-up in months. So I used box color to cover the new growth. Then, unexpectedly, I had the opportunity to visit family and felt I couldnt show up with the lousy job I did on my own hair. Knowing I had to pass through Cathedral City, I researched salons in the area and Canyon Salon had great reviews. It was the Friday before Christmas. So I crossed my fingers and hoped Id get lucky. I did. John managed to fit me in the next day! When I arrived, I explained Id used box color only days before. From the professional salon formulas I had with me, and his skill and knowledge as a master colorist affording him the understanding the potential catastrophe of working with reds, he took great care in matching the color I wanted without causing damage. The color was gorgeous. Not only that, I showed him a photo of a new cut I wanted. He took into account my face shape, proportions, and hair type to make sure it worked for me. On top of everything else, John is a terrific conversationalist; warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Canyon Salon and will definitely return when my travels bring me back to Cathedral City.

Ana is talented and efficient with her haircuts, and Giselle is both artistic and precise with her brow and body work. Heidi Hoyt Miguel is the GREATEST!!!! Such a warm and fun person a true artist. I started doing my own hair during Covid and it was in pretty bad shape, both color and condition. Miguel turned me back into the bright blond that I used to be & I couldnt be happier. I have had a dozen compliments and he only did it 3 days ago! He also gave me several amazing conditioning treatments and a gorgeous blow dry and style. I had the best time while I was there, laughing and getting to know Miguel was so fun! Len Handeland I only discovered this salon after my hairstylist, Sam Harris, relocated here after working in another hair salon in Palm Springs that seemed to be going downhill fast. This salons atmosphere is warm and inviting while remaining hip. I love how it is decorated in mostly white which is very current! I have known Sam Harris for over 20 years. Sam was a former assistant of mine when I owned a 14-chair hair salon in San Franciscos Union Square, where he and I lived at the time. Sam has been a full-fledged hairstylist, hair colorist, and straightening expert for quite some time. I reconnected with him once my husband and I moved from the Bay area to Palm Springs, where Sam had relocated to 3-4 years prior. Each time I voice my satisfaction with the work he does to my hair at the end of each appointment, his reply is, "I learned from the best," (as he trained directly under me and a few of the other senior stylists at my former salon). That may be true, but some stylists take shortcuts after theyve been in the industry for a while. But not Sam! Every haircut has been meticulous, as well as the other services Ive received, including low lighting my hair and chemically straightening my hair (Yes, I have A LOT of work done to my hair). He takes extreme pride in his work, and it shows! Im always pleased and walk out of the salon looking like a million dollars and ready to take on the world! Besides Sams technical hair abilities and training, hes extremely nice, talkative, and personable. If your current hairstylist isnt providing you with a stellar hair experience or is, and isnt pleasant to deal with, then, by all means, switch to Sam. Youll be glad you did! Take it from a former hairstylist and salon owner who has VERY discriminating taste!

I am from Chicago, and Sam’s talent tops every hair stylist in Chicago by a long shot. Whenever I’m visiting Palm Springs, I make sure to get my hair done by Sam. Priscilla Mojica These guys are great! The crew is super lively and so sweet and very talented. I could tell just looking around the place that all of the customers were being taken care of and happy. This was my first time going in and I didnt know what to expect at all. From the moment I stepped in everyone was really nice, attentive and quick. I had an appointment and I waited about 20 seconds before I was already sitting down and talking with Tary about what to do with my hair. I also didnt really know how to go about deciding what exactly I wanted...but Tary was asking all the right questions to narrow it down. I dont know why no one has reviewed Tary, but he was absolutely excellent and I LOVE my hair cut. Tary was funny and sweet and he noticed that I was a little nervous so he didnt bombard me the way I notice some stylists do sometimes. He was quick, gentle, and he knows how to work with long hair. I get the sense that any hair stylist here would be great though, because I looked around and all the stylists very attentive and charismatic about their work. If you have long hair like me, though, then I would recommend Tary. I had long, boring hair with weird layers when I came in. But I told Tary I wanted a beach-like, kinda relaxed layers (and to just look better? haha) and thats exactly what he did. Thanks Tary and team! It took a little over half an hour altogether. I had my hair: washed, cut in layers, blow dried and styled. It was approx $70. They also do nails, hair coloring and highlights. You need an appointment to go in, but you can also stop by to chat and look at their pricing. They are easy to find and the place is spacious and clean. (Nov. 2018)

Grant Lee I cannot say enough great things about this salon! My stylist Vincent was a very good listener and clearly had thousands of hours of experience cutting and styling hair. He asked about what I was looking for and listened attentively, and cut my hair exactly how I’d asked him, and gave good suggestions to make the cut even better without losing length. I had been growing my hair out for 5 years, and never had it cut once during that time. I had some serious split ends, damage, and tangles. Vincent cleaned my hair and took great care when cutting it with patience and precision. The layering, shaping, and brushing and drying were all done in superb fashion. My hair has never looked this beautified in all my life! Thanks Vincent for the exceptional service, and thanks to Josef for providing Palm Springs with such a gem of a salon!

Amber Swenor Georgia totally ROCKED! Note: I have a short, white-blonde color & edgy hair cut (not everyone can pull off edgy cuts). I had moved temporarily to the Palm Springs area and wasnt able to go to my regular stylist. I was nervous to work with a new stylist as in the past when Ive "tried a new stylist" it hasnt gone well. however Georgia was so awesome, talented & easy to work with! We talked through my regular formula and cut, and she was attentive to ensure that I felt good with the direction we were going and she totally nailed it! If I lived there permanently shed be my go-to-stylist. Thanks Georgia!

Marie Withrow This was my daughters first haircut in several years as she does not feel comfortable in crowds nor with people handling her hair. Her hair is extremely thick and frizzy and not many people know how to treat and cut frizzy long hair. Georgia is a gem: nor only is she extremely talented but she knows right away what you need and how to handle hair. The salon is very clean, smells heavenly and is very relaxing. Patient, reassuring, and extremely welcoming! A true professional, one that you do not find in other salons. I love how she also gave great advice and thorough explanation in how to care for her hair and did not push to sell products like all other salons we have been to. She did not push for regular visits like others do as well. She is an artist! We finally found a salon worth going to and the money is very well spent there. Thank you for making my daughter smile for the first time in months and making her feel beautiful!

Palm Springs Mary Thomson We selected this studio on ShearShare for our stylist and ALL of us agreed it is now our go-to place (five minutes from our house and a fun couple days in Palm Springs for our stylist #AndyHairArt!!). Please keep this on ShearShare! Impeccably clean, shared part of the day with another customer, good time had by all! Nice and intimate, has a Bluetooth speaker, just needs a TV or you can hook up a phone or tablet! Will go again! (Oh and my wife = no extensions, all her!)

California Legal Docs Georgia is amazing, I found her over a year ago in search of a fresh look and someone who not only listens to me but has the creative eye to see my true self. She has always left me leaving the salon feeling so amazing and confident in whatever new/fun look we decide to create.
