Marcy Ramos Ive gotten my haircut done here for years, they are great fast. While you wait watch a movie or read the paper. They offer snacks for purchase as well. My father had his hair cut here for years too.

Jackie Corchado I went in for a layered haircut and gave me the exact opposite! She didn’t even give me a single layer and i even showed her a reference picture, she just cut my hair shorter. I wish i got a refund. Im never coming back here!

Anna Ledesma I got my hair done here and last time I went the lady got bleach on my eye. Omg it was a terrible experience, and to top it off I still payed full price. My eye was hurting and was extremely red the next 2 days.

Babi Panda Attached are photos of what I wanted and what I got, not only did I not get what I wanted, the hair stylist didnt change the cape between clients or change her equipment between clients. Her work station had a dirty towel full of hair from other clients, I didnt see any sanitation areas for the equipment. When she put the cape on me to begin the haircut it was still covered in hair from the past client, when I left I was covered in hair and didnt even know if it was mine. Her daughter I assume was the only one that spoke English and she told me my haircut was going to be $30 I ended up being charged $32.64 and I still left a $5 tip. Horrible experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Lizbeth Parrish My nail tech Millie is great at doing inspo nails on me, every time I show her what I want it’s always on point. She’s always great to talk to about anything! The environment in the salon is always good vibes. I recommend people coming here, also Nicole does a great job at giving me a Brazilian wax. Nicole makes you feel comfortable during my wax appointments by talking to me which always eases my mind from the pain. Overall I love coming here and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

Beto Beto They said they know how to cut guys hair if your a guy dont go here they dont know how to use a machine and use the same size clip and scissors. I Went here just because I needed a cut urgently and they messed my hair up I asked for a mid fade and they gave me a 3 all around .

Alison Reyes NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Bad experience. If you want someone to understand you have anxiety about new things, don’t come here! If you want somebody to respect your feelings, don’t come here! My microbladed eyebrows are awful. One of the eyebrows has a mark going downward and doesn’t match the other. I’m now going to have to find another place to fix the mistake. What was worst is when Felicia said at the end of my appointment that the eyebrows looked fantastic. When I went home and looked closer, I saw the line going down towards my eye on one of the eyebrows. When I told her about it through text she says it was my fault. How can it be my fault when I was not the person doing the work? Her communication skills and expertise is hands down the worst I have ever seen. Instead of communicating with me, she opted to give me a partial refund due to the lip filler did not work at all but she never said she would fix the one eyebrow that is marked differently than the other.Thank God I found another person who is going to correct the mistakes made at this salon. She even told me that I am not the only person coming to her about Beauty Bar messing up their face with bad permanent makeup. Another problem was that my eyelash extensions started coming off the same day and when I texted the lady, she told me to remove the one extension that was going the wrong direction. I am thoroughly confused at these ladies. Not friendly unless you already are friends or current customers/clients. Just a terrible experience all around.

Marcos Plascencia Place inside is dirty, spiderwebs, dust, old hair, walls paint chipping, dirty haircut stations, floors never mopped. Feels like I need a shower and wash my hands after sitting in this place. They take too long on haircuts as well. Dirty dirty dirty place. Come on fellas it reflects on your character. I only come here as last resort my normal barber shop is closed. Clean up and throw some paint in the place. Even state penitentiary is cleaner than this! Dirty and ratchet.

Manuel Meza I went to this place as a walk in, no big deal. However, the gentlemen only had 1 person in front of me, and it took about 2 hours for me to finally get on the chair. A lot of it was due to the fact that they would stop way too often and talk to their friend that walked in, or check their phone. The shop itself is a little worn down, and not up to date by any standard. I will say however, that I was indeed satisfied by my haircut. The gentleman that cut my hair did do a standout job cutting my hair and trimming my beard.

Lisa Acevedo I’ve gone to the salon a couple of times. The first time, my roots were not covered and I have gray hair coming in and I was going somewhere nice the next day and wanted my hair to look nice. Today, I went by appointment to get a more stylish hair color that would blend in my grays as I age. And it was really bad. I was not willing to leave the salon until it was fixed. The last time I left the salon. I just parted my hair differently and was able to get away with some of the grays not being dyed properly until I made another appointment for corrections, but this time I couldn’t leave my hair color the way it was. The highlights turned my hair almost all white and it needed a major Correction. I was there for over five hours.

Maryann kent I really like how the girls at Nohelys cut hair. I even take my daughters over there and they love the hair cuts.

B Holy man the wait time is insane, these guys took 1 hour on the same people then ignored me and got to work on someone that came after me never going back be very slow barbershop btw i ended up leaving after the got the guy that came after me

Ritchie Lopez All star babershop is the standard in the madera community. Alex is not only dedicated to his craft but to the community, the barbers under his charge are second to none. The all star barbershop is the only one in town with back to back 1st place trophies for the best taper/fades in all of madera. I have been getting my hair cut by alex for 15 years!, there is no other shop I recommend in the central valley. If you want a phenomenal cut and feel like 1000 bucks, all star babershop is the place to go.

Ruben Urbano Im not sure how to rate this place. On a Tuesday, Im still here waiting and its almost 1pm. Ive been here since 11am. I wanted to leave then I thought the barber was done with the guy before me. Now Im next, Barber decides to go to lunch. Other barber still with same client since 11:45am. Hummm. Customer relations is a must need here. Now lets see when Im next how the haircut comes out.

Rudy B They all know how to cut hair. But they need to work on customer service big time!!! They dont treat each customer equally. They allow there homies to cut infront of the line of other clients -_-. Which is rude when you have been waiting hrs to be next. You cant do much about it but walk out or speak out and risk getting a bad cut. Finally, they need to show up on time and also explicitly state when each employee is done. For example, I showed up to get a cut and there newbie refused to cut my hair. This was around 4-5 PM. But to make it worse he had to make up a bullshit lie. "He had to go to church on a Tuesday -_-. And I asked what church and he couldnt give me a name smh". I understand they are human and not machines. So I get it if they are tired and need to go home early to relax. But they need to learn to correct these flaws.

Maribel Ochoa I came here back in 2015 to cut my hair. I had long THICK hair. Well a lady here that had rayitos at that time was done cutting a gentleman’s hair. I didn’t know it was almost closing time and she still took me in. Let me tell you... she was in a HURRY! She wet my bangs and cut them and she told me “you look weird in bangs huh” i don’t even think she could cut women’s hair. You’re not suppose to wet hair and cut it cause it shrinks! She told me “wait good thing I have a “trick” for this” because she thinned out my hair. She grabbed more hair from the back and placed it to the front to make it into “bangs” She did a bad job. She thinned out my hair! I was 14 at that time so I didn’t know what to do but she was the worst. Because of her my hair hasn’t grown and it stayed thin. I’m afraid of going into hair salons now. I haven’t gotten my hair cut since then. I wish she gave me her name at that time so I could of done something about it.

Beto Beto Went here a couple times never had a problem.But they recently hired a new employee do not let her cut your hair guys. I asked for a skin fade and she ended up doing a 1. I also asked for nothing to be done for the top. But she cut to high when doing the sides. After all that she charged me $10 more then what I usually pay for the same haircut. Never going here again.

Sandia Melón The first two times I went here, I had a great experiences. Unfortunately, neither stylist that had done my hair are working there anymore. After those two initial times, I haven’t had good experiences. I’ve tried going in twice during business hours and the doors are locked and no one is inside. The few times after that I was able to get in, the stylist didn’t fade my sons hair correctly, leaving a jagged line around his head. And her prices weren’t the same. She kind of makes up the price on a whim. I switched to Supercuts and have had a much better experience. Their prices are a a dollar or two higher but they don’t change and they do a much better job on my sons hair!

Sandra L I went there to get my hair permed straight, the stylist seemed not to know what she was doing. She was rushing as many clients were going and she tried getting them all without the time. After the first time I washed my hair after getting the perm, it went back to normal. I went back to fix it and the stylist damaged my hair even more with her old outdated straightener. She also mixes up her prices depending on the client.

Cindy H The stylist here is very sweet and patient. She cut our one year olds hair and had plenty of smiles and candy to help with all the squirming. She was very reasonably priced as well. The place looks outdated and the chairs look a bit weathered, but I would go again because Michele does a wonderful job.

dollzze e I just got a haircut today asked the guy if he could do whispy bangs as I showed him the pictures for reference he saw one picture of girl with whispy band that had layers and said he couldn’t give me the bangs without the layers . I told him not to make my hair short and just trim my ends . He ruined my curly hair that I loved and left my hair hella short , uneven , and damaged by the hit as blow dryer he was using that was burning my scalp and was ripping my hair off . He sucks at doing hair. He even tried showing the lady how to blow dry hair when he needs more lessons on how to be gentle and not so rough .he didn’t even use heat pertectant and left my hair hella thin and dry. I cried because I hate my hair so much .

Christian Resendez DO NOT GO HERE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE !!! i asked for curtain bangs with layers , and she didn’t know what she was doing and left it terrible with uneven places and the bangs are awful overall it looks so bad . I asked her before i sat down if she knew what she was doing or if she knew how to do it . She said yes and she basically did whatever she wanted . Gives everyone the same haircut do not recommend at all she’s an older women with dark and “blond” streaks .
