Evelyn Flores My first time coming and I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted. It was very simple a black French tip. She left my nails clumpy and the lines were all uneven. She was trying to rush and finish fast. My nails are not long at all I got them very short and she charge me 65 seems overpriced. And at the end she didn’t even bother asking me if I liked them or not. I told her I wanted to pay with card and she was insisting that they only like cash. That should be said in the beginning of it’s a problem. Definitely not going back

Jody Hill Went in and asked the lady if I could please use the bathroom because my 4 year old was going to urinate in her pant. The lady told me no. I begged her please my child is going to pee her pants and she said no and dismissed me again. I will never go to that salon again. Cruel and rude. I hope they never have that problem in their lives. My child ended up peeing around the corner on the rocks because the lady didnt want my baby girl to pee in their private bathroom. Dont support this business they have no heart of feeling or common decentcy.

Sandra Maldonado Alin is the best I love how she’s more than a nail tech she is very smart and knowledgeable in regards to my nail and cuticle care. I have gone elsewhere but return to her! I always see her every 2-3 weeks for pedi and nails, what I most enjoy is my time when I’m there I’m her only focus she’s not juggling with other clients and she always does a great job! I feel selfish to not want to tell friends and family about this shop because I want to be the only one to go there.. but I do since I always get compliments on my nails. Alisandra Valero I was a previous client back when Johnny was still here and actually followed him to Elk Grove! However, someone told me about Tony right when he came into the salon and I tried him out. I’ve been coming since November 2023 and I love my nails!! Super cute designs and he’s very honest about what can and can’t be done. The retention is amazing. I don’t think I’ve broken a nail since then and I get fills every 3.5-4 weeks. Very much recommend. I also get pedicures with Helen which have been nice! I just do a regular gel pedicure but she’s been very kind every time I see her. Overall I really enjoy the salon again :)

Shika Prasad If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I made a same day appointment and requested Tony since I read good reviews about him. Would not recommend. He was not gentle at all and was so rough with the drill then he was burning my nail beds. It hurt so bad and I even jerked my hand a few times and told him he was too rough and my nail beds feel like it’s burning. He mumbled something and tried to be gentle but was so rough still. My nails were sensitive to touch and burned for the next 4 days which is sooooo crazy to me. He didn’t file my nails properly. The edges were slanted. He didn’t brush off the nail dust off of my hands so you could see the nail particles under the top coat. On top of that, I had residue all over my fingers. Waste of my time and money. I removed the gel 2 days ago my nails are in horrible condition and burn still when I wash them. At the end of the service, he asked me if my nails still hurt and I told him yes, they still hurt and burn and he said nothing. Took no accountability whatsoever. Save your time and go to VIP Nails.

One of the ladies looked at me really weird when I requested that and suggested just going over it with gel? I have gotten a dip powder fill somewhere else and they did it without hesitation but couldn’t take me in today so I went here. I thought it would be fine and completely covered with the gel but then I got this result. The man who did my nails was very nice and took his time and didn’t charge me for a nail that he replaced but unfortunately did not do a very good job with the rest. Nice, clean place but I will not be going back.

Yuri Taylor I went there yesterday, the workers were very nice. My nails turned out great, but I was hurt a few times. She told me the price for my nails were 65, and after she said it was 60. Great price! The original design I wanted they said they didnt have the stickers but gave me a lot of options. I would definitely go back again! Thank you angel nails!

So many times when I get acrylics I am quite used to having even just a little bit of pain with how rough certain services can be however she was so gentle and so kind I can never imagine going anywhere else ever again. She didn’t rush, she was very conscious of our time, and she was great to talk to. I loved it!

Jake King My girlfriend got a manicure and they did not listen to what she wanted very well and rushed during her mani and did a pretty amateur job on them. She was going to get a pedicure as well but after the mani decided not to. Stay away from this place there are plenty of good or at least even decent ones in town.

Jacqueline Leyva Happened upon Julia’s place today. She was very nice. It was quiet and calm, with a movie playing. The chairs are comfortable and clean. She was gentle and took her time, paying close attention to detail. I just did a simple gel polish on my natural nails, but it came out great. The only downfall was that they do not accept debit- only cash or Venmo. Luckily my husband was with me and pulled out some cash. Minor inconvenience, and next time I will come prepared with cash. Overall it was a nice, relaxing experience- just what I was looking for. I will definitely be back.

This is definitely the best shop I’ve come across and they’re always so sweet. 10/10 pedis and their prices are exactly whats marketed. My new favorite place for my pedis.

I take a picture of what I want & they are able to do the exact design or color of what I want. I’ll be continuing to come here from now on!

Tina Navarrette I have been taking my business to Profile Nails since they opened, and I have known the Owner since before she owned the business. After reading a post that said the staff were rude and disrespectful, and that the Owner’s response was dishonest, I wanted to defend the owner and her staff who have always been very professional, polite and friendly, and never ever dishonest. Perhaps it was a communication or language barrier, but I can vouch that this is a business with an Owner that is extremely honest and is always willing to accept accountability and is not afraid to apologize & try to make her customers happy. It’s not easy to run a business but all of the staff at Profile Nails work very hard to make it successful.

Miranda Walton I had my nails done and loved them. But my nail broke on my pointer finger just a few days later. I went in to see about fixing it and they asked me to wait 30 minutes or come back the next day. I wait patiently for my turn, I was understanding that they need to take everyone’s appointments first and that it’s close to closing time. My nail tech did a horrible job. Not only was she not interested in doing the nail, she kept interacting with the customer next to me - checking on her nail design and commenting how cute. With me it was very short and sloppy. I felt extremely uncared for which is unfair - I paid $65 for my nails with a tip. I would’ve paid and tipped for just one nail if it hadn’t come out so poorly! The tech berated me for not knowing what number they used for the acrylic nail, which was confusing because I was never given that information in the first place. The original nail had a green tip and a white daisy design with a yellow dot. I got a green tip that is clearly shaped differently and a daisy design that is so sloppy and placed incorrectly and she didn’t use yellow for the dot, she used gold. The actually nail took what felt like 5 minutes because it was so rushed. I’m sad to say I just won’t be coming back. I left painfully aware that I was a bother for asking them to fix my nail, and upset that even though she fixed it she went the extra mile to be sloppy with it. I would’ve paid for the fix to my one nail but I’m honestly glad I didn’t have to because I really don’t like it and I didn’t like how I was handled either.

Kelly Scheuer I first went into the nail salon close to this one. It was too busy, so I came here and was helped right away. They did a very thorough job, were very nice, and it was a relaxing atmosphere at a good price. They also gave me a lotion gift on my way out. I would come again! Also they wore gloves so Im not sure why another review said that they didnt.

Kelsey Boyle I’ve been here a couple times and the service has always been OK. However, last time, it was legit the worst manicure I’ve ever had. It was a fill and I was neverrrr asked what shape I wanted. So I told her. And yet she continued the manicure with zero shaping or filing at all. She skipped a few of the usual steps in fills, making it super round in the middle since she didn’t properly file down the acrylic, etc. It happens but I just hoped she would fix it at the end. Not the case! The end result was bumpy acrylic and NO shape. Some were round, some were square, some were just jagged?? It was super weird, like she couldn’t see they were all different and sharp and jagged ? It was legit like having my niece do it for me, someone with zero experience. I’ve NEVER spoken out before but I legit asked her - can you just make them all look the same? Like shape them? Then she got annoyed with me and told me that I needed to redo my entire nail because the acrylic was “old” but at least leveled off the edges so they werent jagged but still all different shapes. It was legit the worst manicure I’ve ever had, it looked like I was a child doing my own nails. Like someone with zero experience or care in what she was doing then blaming me for her awful job? Extra sucky is these were supposed to be my vacation nails…they ended up chipping TWO DAYS later on the way to my vacay. And the acrylic didnt chip, the gel did , which takes away her argument. She also managed to get the gel all over my fingers and didn’t clean it off. Such a mess. The pic is 2 days after the manicure. Acrylic and gel. It usually lasts 3-4 weeks for me and that’s because they grow out, they never chip. Sucks because I used to love this place. I will say that there was a lady beside me getting her nails done BEAUTIFULLY! By another lady. And there was some back and forth when I complained. But I was allowed to walk out of that place with those hideous, pointy mixed with flat nails and no one fixed them despite my objections. I’ve always been a regular there but after that, I just can’t go back unfortunately. The pic is when they started chipping. I wish I had taken it immediately after when they were all different lengths, shapes, etc. I tried to save them after the chipping started and filed them down. Oh, and this fill took only 30 minutes. Another bad sign.

Ashlee H First time here without doing research like I usually do and I have to say; GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! First things first, the techs are not very professional. 3/5 were newbies to the nail world so every client was getting bounced from tech to tech and people were leaving because they were just taking way too long. For the pedicures everything is fine but for the manicures is a completely different story. I am a very picky gal who knows what she wants with that being said, the tech was not only applying the acrylic nails sideways rather than straight but also was working on my hands without gloves and I noticed she had cuts on her hand so please WATCH OUT! That’s how people get infections on their nails. I made a comment about that and she put on gloves. Additionally they have their filing machines on high setting which burns you when they are working on your hands so ask them to lower the setting. The tech was also missing so many details like particles on the nails when she was painting them, also she was leaving areas deformed with sharp sides. The environment was not good at all. The salon was going to be closed down due to sales being low and people not going there but the owner chose to sell it to someone else which made it go under new owner ,however the new owner isn’t changing anything at all which will make this salon close down eventually, just like it should of had. Language barrier is the other thing, a salon needs at least one person who is fluent in English otherwise it leads to misunderstandings but this salon doesn’t have a single person who can communicate properly. Pricing is Ridiculous! Nowhere in the menu does it say that prices for designs depend on the tech, so if the tech thinks is a difficult design they will charge you $200!! For just the design!! Insane right!!!??? I literally had to pull out my designs and showed her each one and she gave me different prices but all $150 and up. The tech couldn’t even draw simple straight lines and yet she was charging $200 for one of my designs! A little girl got her pedi done and she got charged $70!!!! Are you serious??? For a freaking child! That’s abusing! The little girls mom was mad about the price for her daughter’s pedi and the mom said she would just go somewhere else for her nails. Last but not least, the photos that they have on their social media profiles are fake, they don’t do those nails there. And some photos are from when they started which was under the old owner the good techs they had left which is how the salon ended up having techs that are beginners. If you look at yelp and google you will realize that nothing adds up, some of their reviews are from their own employees to try and mask the true reviews. DO YOUR RESEARCH LADIES! OVERALL AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU LIKE PEOPLE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF YOU

Christina Foster I love VIP! So many colors and styles to choose from and the staff are always friendly. The shop is clean and organized. My nails are always so cute! Nina is one if my favorite nail techs, but others there have also done a great job. Call to make an appointment, call if you are going to be late, and week days are better if you want to avoid crowds. Masks optional.

Gabby Lozano I never do review’s unless I feel like it should be either really bad or good in this case I thought I’d give it another try I usually go to the one next to Costco for a dip powder they do fantastic and it’s does not take more then 1hr I came here she insisted for me to do gel I said no I want exactly what I have French tip she said no full color I agreed it took almost 2hrs they are uneven not shaped correctly and the color is not fully coated I told her I wanted square they do. Not look square at all more like oval and really uneven I am really disappointed

Brandi Counts I decided to try nice nails and spa with my daughter yesterday for the first time. I’m bilingual three different languages. Along with my daughter and I were two other ladies getting pedicures all at the same time. I work in safety so I have to wear steel shoes so my big toes are bruised and not as pretty as other ladies toenails for that reason. They have an employee named Justin and he is a complete unprofessional jerk. He made it a point to come over to three times and make remarks about how horrible my feet were to my lady. I don’t recommend this business for any services for this reason. He was completely unprofessional and rude. He didn’t walk over to anyone else’s nail tech but mine and he said horrible things. Please spend your money elsewhere. also, I hope he gets fired. He should not be working in the service that he’s working in making the remarks he made laughing chuckling and saying rude things about my feet. Absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary.

Sam Cornell Unfortunately had the worst experience here and will not be going back. I left with 2 bloody toes, a dip manicure that was done poorly and chipped the next day. Both of the women I had working on me were extremely rude. I’m 7 months pregnant and had just pointed out what was hurting and they were so irritated. My toes were bleeding and I did not see them switch out the towel they used once. Anything I pointed out they said they would just glue it and paint over it so I didn’t have to look at it. I asked them to skip one nail due to them cracking it and they said if I’m not going to paint all 10 I should just not choose paint at all. Their whole process was aggressive and painful. I’ve called twice for a refund, left my number for the owner and have not received a call back.

Tamara Miller I needed to get a new set of nails and the place I usually go to was closed. So I took a Chance and went here big mistake! not happy at all the shape is so weird!! I won’t be going back next time I will just wait to get an appointment with woodland nails. they do a much better job also the lady hurt me a couple times I never have that problem at woodland nails..

Beverly Littau This was my third pedicure at this store. The first two were fine. The last time, Leo did my nails and did a great job. When he was done he asked me to wait 5 minutes for them to dry. 15 minutes later he checked again and said 5 more minutes. He then went and started a manicure for another customer. 30 minutes later, I decided to just leave. I’d been sitting for 45 minutes (after him being done). There was only one other customer in the store so it wasn’t like they were busy. Crazy!

LBG Do not go waste your money there ladies they don’t know what there doing they did a horrible job super crooked nails ,she cut me twice ,it was just a bad experience, just judge from picture on the clear nails you could see the crooked tip under I asked for purple flowers and after she did 3 of my nails she said I’m out so I had to pick a different one for my fourth nail .. I really don’t know why there still in business, because I’ve seen that salon there for a long time ..
