Erik Stenehjem I moved my household from Anacortes, WA to Tacoma 3 years ago. Although it’s a 2 hour drive each way I continue to rely on Skagit Valley Regional for my health care. The staff there in Mount Vernon, WA are caring, friendly, and extraordinarily professional. I whole heartedly endorse them.

Kristi L Dr. Mallorie Smith, Ryan Toering , and Dr. Hannah Carlson are wonderful ENT specialists. They are thorough and compassionate, take time to make their findings understandable, and patiently and clearly respond to questions. Their expertise changed my life when I was searching for answers about long Covid symptoms, and they took time to integrate findings from other specialty areas in treatment decision-making. They’ve also spoken in terms that matched each of my family members’ developmental needs, one who is young and another who is elderly with memory issues. Hearing loss has an emotional element for patients at every age that they normalized and honored, too.

Sierra Olivier Cindy over in the laboratory was AMAZING! Everyone there had always told me I have small veins or they were in hard to reach places. This made my Lab experience a lot more painful and dreadful. Cindy though was so good at her job, she said I didn’t have small veins and she basically flicked the needle into the vein so quick I didn’t feel anything!

Deb Caldwell I am new to Skagit County and have a complicated medical history. I chose Dr. Abraham and setup a new patient appointment. I was impressed by Dr. Abraham’s knowledge of my 40+ year history, along with his knowledge across multiple systems and health issues created as a result of prior treatments. He did not rush the appointment and let me know his follow-up plan. The follow-up and directions for further care have been excellent.

Steve Stradtman PA-C ONiell made my surgery recovery more comfortable, and motivated my improved recovery tactical plan.

Hart Douglass Mount Vernon, WA Community-based Outpatient Clinic (MV CBOC) has some of THE BEST service I have experienced in healthcare and I want to specifically give a shout out to the newer gal in labs as well as the entire Sequoia Team. These folks really do try to meet and exceed the same sorts of expectations I felt we all tried to meet or exceed in the Navy which were rooted in the premise that, whatever it is, we "leave it better than we found it." Add to that philosophy a general approach of compassion, curiosity, persistence and kindness and you get a wonderful mix I wish all Skagitonians could feel in all pursuits of better health for themselves. I do not typically write reviews or post publicly and I want to share this mostly because people doing superb work are not always seen for their hard work because they are also people who push boundaries and tend to establish new standards in doing so. Some folks dont like it when standards change because they have to up their game. I am VERY fortunate to benefit directly from the VAs overall Continuous Improvement Measures and I am EXTREMELY PROUD to have SUCH PROFESSIONALS providing this five-star service direct to our communitys veterans and THANK YOU MVCBOC for not stopping at getting the job done, but for pushing to show us all what quality healthcare COULD be. Allison Lowber I visited SRHs Urgent Care in Mt Vernon yesterday (Sat 12/7/24) around 11am. The facility itself is beautiful, new and clean, the two ladies at the front desk were incredibly kind and welcoming. The two MAs that checked me in were also incredibly kind. They completely disarmed me, as I was very nervous whether or not to come in (Im stubborn and have white coat syndrome) and then the Doctor. She was the BEST doc Ive met in a long time. Dr Benson. She was thorough, thoughtful and included me in decision making, which she didnt have to do and I appreciated. She came up with a very clear plan of care with printed instructions (helps my add brain) and someone else even went over with them with me in case I had questions. Then they set me up with labs and the lab gal was fabulous. I seriously have never had a better experience in any Healthcare facility. This place is amazing! Of course it is walk in basis, so there will be a wait. But well worth it. Not being able to get into my primary care office, I was exceptionally grateful to be seen by them. No shaming, nothing but positivity. Thank you so much for seeing me and taking such good care of me. Yall are an amazing team. I appreciate you and all you do ♡

Gary Buhr Am now at a point of total success with my medical adventure! I believe that a cure has occurred with the help from amazing staff of awesome Nurses and top quality Doctors who work at this Skagit Regional Care Center in Mount Vernon. Access is easy, relevant communication is good, education builds towards my present state of desired results and complete satisfaction. The teams here are highly capable and I highly recommend their brilliant and successful services to everyone!

Kim Kendall I went to the Walk in Clinic and they were quite busy. I noticed everyone was treated respectfully, compassionately and friendly. My doctor didn’t rush me in and out even though there were many patients yet to be seen. As I was leaving the he clinic was closing and they had to lock the entrance doors turning away others. I was in and out in 1 hr 45 minutes. (6pm-7:45pm)
