1 /5 Noor Ul Ain: I initially posted a positive review on the day of my treatment because my hair looked great right after the procedure. However, after experiencing severe issues with my hair in the weeks following, I feel it’s necessary to provide an honest update, especially as I see others trusting my original review.
During my appointment, the stylist began the bleaching process at 10 AM but did not wash it out until 12:50 PM, leaving bleach on my hair for nearly three hours while attending to other clients. This excessive delay caused significant damage, turning my hair into a brittle, gum-like texture. On the day of the highlights, they attempted to conceal the damage by keeping my hair over my forehead for 30 minutes during the blowout. I noticed an unusual amount of hair falling out during the process, which they tried to clean up discreetly.
After the treatment, the stylist insisted on selling me an aftercare kit, claiming it was essential for maintaining my newly colored hair. On first wash I discovered the kit smelled unpleasant looks like quite old , and actually worsened the condition of my already damaged hair. Shockingly, all the colored parts of my hair began falling out like autumn leaves on first wash in shower. I was so scared that I didn’t dare touch it after washing and immediately sought a second opinion at another salon. Where I was told that my hair had been irreparably burned and no treatment could reverse the damage .
This entire experience has left me deeply disappointed and caused me significant emotional distress.. I spent AUD 460, only to have my hair destroyed and to be sold useless aftercare product for an additional AUD 80. The stylist and his team were aware of the damage but chose to hide it rather than address it honestly. This negligence has caused me significant emotional distress, and I want to ensure others are fully informed before trusting this salon.
To the stylist ( SALIM known as SAM ) if you’re reading this, I want to express my deep disappointment. I understand that mistakes can happen. However, as a professional stylist, you are well aware that delaying the removal of a chemical like bleach can cause significant damage. This doesn’t seem like an honest mistake; it feels as though it was done deliberately, knowing the prolonged exposure would worsen my hair’s condition. The lack of transparency, negligence, and the attempt to cover up the damage is unacceptable. I trusted you with my hair, and you knowingly let me walk out of your salon with irreversible damage, masked under a façade of politeness and sales tactics.
Dear readers, I have added images to show the extent of the damage. Please be careful and learn from my experience. I strongly urge anyone considering this salon, or any other, to be cautious and vigilant during their appointments.
