Fair warning, he only takes cash (to my knowledge), not a deal breaker, but we didnt know at first. He even helped install a switch that had stopped on us with minimal extra charge. Hes won my business.

Kayla Smith I RARELY leave reviews, but I returned home after service intending to provide a review for Drivers Edge McKinney, TX. From the moment I walked until I left it was a top notch experience. I was greeted in a friendly manner and taken care of promptly. I had misplaced my phone and returned home with my hubby thinking I’d left it, unaware that I had actually left it in my car. Employees found it and were attempting to call me when I got back to the counter. They were prompt and efficient with oil change and inspection. The charges were reasonable and I received a coupon for a FREE oil change next time. The waiting area is neat and clean. A great experience in a place with friendly professionals. I Highly recommend the McKinney location!

Pete Larson Great shop, my daughter is a student at UTD and is all alone in Plano. She had some car issues and having heard how great of a shop Fifth Gear is she set an appointment. Their drop off location is super convenient for her. Once they inspected the vehicle they were able to send me pictures and videos so I could understand and make an educated decision on what to do. Jake was very helpful and worked with me to make sure she was safe and how to proceed repairing the vehicle. I feel much better now knowing she has a shop she can count on to keep her older car running. Thanks again.

Elizabeth Atkin Really great experience at this location. The team, Dylan specifically, did a great job explaining the issues with my vehicle and options for moving forward. I felt at ease with Dylan’s honesty. Even though it is company policy not to remove the diagnostic cost even if you’re getting repairs done there, they worked with me to help me find coupons and other ways of reducing my overall charge. I am grateful, loving my car, and I will be back!

Erica Soto Weve been coming here for about two years now, I think? These guys are literally the best. Theyre super honest, clear and communicative, and the service is always fast. I came in here a few days ago for a car inspection, but also knowing something was wrong with the breaks. They identified the issue, and I was able to get both axels done in two hours (I came in early too, so that helped). I also just come here for regular oil changes and yearly inspects for registering my car. Always super friendly, nice, and fast!
