Robert Simpson I recently had A-Tex do some work on my 1957 Thunderbird and it was a great experience. They replaced the wheel bearings, adjusted the shift linkage, replaced the transmission lower gasket to stop a leak and installed a temp sensor. They were very quick with these repairs and JR communicated often. Great classic car shop in North Austin.

Michele Fitzsimon Very thorough!!! They look at the overall health of the car instead of putting a band aide on the sick part. My contact was Andrea , her customer service skills are truly phenomenal! Also anyone else i spoke to was kind and helpful. Auto Tek came highly recommended from a friend and now i understand why.

Jeremy Sanchez This mechanic shop has been here as long as I can remember. I’ve been In South Austin for 21 years. Just recently they have started working on diesel trucks. So after all this time, it’s my first experience with them. Very satisfied at the amount of time it took to diagnose, fix and return to me. After a few days of driving it, I can honestly say I have no complaints about the repair! Highly recommend these guys.

Matthew Lipstein Took my Honda Pilot to Capital City from the recommendation of two friends who both bring their cars there. Had a great experience from start to finish! We were doing a routine timing belt kit replacement. Getting the initial info and quote was clear and direct, and handled in one phone call. The price was reasonable, not rock bottom, but it feels like this business has integrity in doing good work and that is part of what you pay for. Thats value in itself to me. They finished the car on time and for the price we agreed upon - no surprises. Will definitely bring our cars back!

Larry Rieber Excellent service. They are straight forward and do the work you request without looking to do other work. I know; I keep records and have other shops that recommend work work I have just had done a few months or a few thousand miles ago. But Austin Automotive Specialists is NOT one of those shops. They are trustworthy.

Sierra Pizarro So convenient; so friendly; fairly-priced. I discovered this spot after receiving some coupons from them in the mail. Prior to this I planned on getting an oil change and wheel alignment at Meineke (~$200). I got both done at Amazing for around $130 (original price: ~$150). I waited for my car inside their lobby: they have WiFi, snacks, super cold ac, really cute restroom, and drinks!

Dani Beso Recently had my brakes & rotors replaced at 766 Auto and it was an excellent experience. Danny was super friendly and helpful while explaining the process. He texted me an estimate within a half hour of dropping off my vehicle and had it completed within a few hours. Very efficient, friendly and professional mechanics. Evan Rowley Jerry and Giselle run a great, local, small business. Theyre incredibly transparent and trustworthy and not trying to pull the wool over your eyes. Ive taken my car here twice in the last 6 months. Both times they were incredibly kind and hospitable, and the work on my car was very thorough and comprehensive. Jerry even dropped what he was doing to bail me out of a minor emergency the other day. Im very appreciative of the quality and care they provide.
