Amie Varner I was asked upon entering what my symptoms were and told them. I also mentioned that I was 36 weeks pregnant and if this was where I needed to be, or if due to the pregnancy, I needed to go to the hospital. The nurse told me they can see me there. So I got checked in. Once checked in, the doctor came in and said due to the pregnancy I really should have gone to the hospital. This is frustrating since I’ve now already been checked in and had asked this question PRIOR to being checked in and was given a different response by the nurse. Their staff needs to be on the same page with medical advice. The doctor also did not exude confidence when checking all my vitals, but continued to tell me she wouldn’t know anything for sure unless she took an X ray (referring to if I have pneumonia or not). I know from experiencing the same thing with my son, that doctors (like my son’s pediatrician) can tell by listening to your lungs. But yes, it’s not black & white without an X-ray. Even still.. I appreciated the confidence my son’s pediatrician exuded when she listened to my son’s lungs several months ago and said he had pneumonia. She mentioned the X-ray thing too, but just out of obligation to tell me that. She continued with confidence in her assessment of pneumonia. The doctor at medical city ER white settlement did not exude confidence at all and kept pushing X-ray. We need doctors that exude more confidence and don’t try to push expensive medical practices on us due to being afraid of liability. After all that, before being released, (I opted not to get the X-ray), they had me fill out a bunch of forms. A form that asks my name & insurance, I totally understand. But they had me filling out forms that were asking where I work, what religion I am, and on & on. Number one, why do they need that info? Number two, I feel like absolute crap and you’re making me stay longer to answer what seem like completely irrelevant questions. Will my treatment and billing be different depending on where I work or what my religion is?? It shouldn’t be. This place is sketchy at best, and if at all possible, I highly recommend traveling a bit further to a different medical facility.

LaTonya Thompson I went to this This hospital today through emergency. And I was very impressed with the great service that I received. Everybody was SO nice and SO kind and professional to me. They treated me with the utmost respect, and they quickly assisted me. I was in and out in less than one hour. As a matter of fact, it only took them about 30 minutes to treat me and send my prescription to my pharmacy. I was very hesitant about coming there because I called emergency on yesterday, and I spoke with someone who was not very professional. But then I got transferred to a nurse named David, and he was so nice, kind, and professional. David was able to assist me over the phone and give me great advice. So, on today I decided to go in and the people were SO kind. I thought maybe I would get the negative person that I spoke with yesterday, but if she was there, I didnt notice. Also, I believe this hospital had a lot of negative reviews. But that was not my experience. I cant say enough about how well my visit went today. I was leary because I switched insurances, a this was the only hospital in my network, and it turned out to be very well. The physician who treated me through emergency name was Doctor Kyle. He was very knowledgeable and he had a solution very quickly. I highly recommended this hospital. I felt VERY comfortable coming there, and it was so nice and clean, and everyone was lovely.

Carrie Shamblin THIS IS MY SECOND TIME TO POST THIS REVIEW, THE FIRST TIME WAS MARCH 7,2025 AND IT DISAPPEARED. Dr. Melde is an excellent physician her nurses are amazing. This review is specifically for Chris Wilkins who was disrespectful of my privacy (violated HIPPA MULTIPLE TIMES WHILE TELLING ME SHE KNEW SHE WAS VIOLATING HIPPA)and my time. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and she made the choice to NOT allow me to be checked in because I refused to discuss my financial issues publicly in the waiting room. She threatened to not let me see my physician of choice because she is the office manager and I dared to ask for respect for my time and as a human being. She admitted they do not have a HIPPA protected area and continued to discuss private and personal information across the waiting room. I am currently waiting to hopefully see my physician for serious medical issues unsure if she will let let me be seen or if I will be forced to suffer my medical issues without the medication I need to survive. I have congestive heart failure, kidney failure and several other medical issues that are life threatening and Chris feels that yelling at me that she is the office manager and she wont let me see my doctor is appropriate. I was in tears the entire time I was there due to the out of control behavior and abuse of Chris Wilkins. I WILL CONTINUE TO REPOST THIS REVIEW EVERY SINGLE TIME IT IS DELETED.

Michael Serrano I took my daughter to emergency room at Medical City Alliance right after she was involved in an accident on I-35 NB. After signing her in at the emergency rooms front desk, within 5min she was being seen, then taken to another area and prepped for ct scan, right after that X-rays were done and blood was drawn. Waited a bit for results, results came back clear and we were done. Thanks for the quick service and making my daughter feel comfortable.

Bao Luu I was brought to this facility due to a heart attack. This medical team saved my life. I would like to express my appreciation to services I received during my stay. Everyone is so friendly and professional. Especially, the two nurses in ICU, Eva on day shift and other lady on night shift. They went way extra miles to provide me the best care I’ve ever had. Thank you, Medical City Alliance team.

Crystal Johns Dr. Hantes is, without a doubt, one of the best doctors I’ve ever met. As a patient, experienced RN, and an NP student who has trained under him, I’ve seen firsthand just how knowledgeable, skilled, and detail-oriented he is. As a patient, I always felt completely comfortable and confident in his care. He listened to my concerns and made sure I understand all my options. As a student, I had the rare opportunity to see his expertise from the other side of the drape. His teaching has given me a much deeper understanding of women’s health, not just from a clinical perspective, but from a human one. I’ve watched patients come in nervous or embarrassed, and he has a way of putting them at ease. He explains each possible treatment and giving them the power to make informed choices about their health. That kind of care and respect is rare, and it’s something I’ll carry with me in my own practice. His team is just as incredible. Misty, Leann, and Diana are kind, welcoming, and truly skilled at what they do. From the front desk to the back office, they make sure everything runs smoothly while making patients feel valued and comfortable. Because of my experience with him, I refer all my female friends, family, and clients to Dr. Hantes without hesitation. He’s the best. I’m beyond grateful for both the care and education I’ve received from him!

Darius Evans My name is Darius, and I have been a patient at the Fort Worth location since the evening of Friday, February 14, 2025. My admission was prompted by a fall that occurred the previous Monday, leaving me in need of rehabilitation to regain my ability to walk. Faced with the daunting prospect of therapy, I felt anxious about finding a facility that would provide a supportive and reassuring environment. After exploring my options, I was given the opportunity to transfer to Texas Rehabilitation of Fort Worth. When I arrived, it was late in the evening, and most of the staff had already finished for the day, creating a quiet atmosphere that added to my anxiety. However, as soon as I met Shelia, the nurse assigned to me for the night, I felt a sense of relief. What truly stood out, though, was Angel, the patient care technician who was responsible for my care that night. From the moment I rolled through the doors, Angel exuded warmth and compassion that immediately put me at ease. She welcomed me with a genuine, radiant smile that conveyed a sense of comfort. Her friendly and approachable demeanor was far beyond mere professionalism; it felt as if she genuinely cared about my well-being and was invested in my recovery journey. Angel took the time to explain the processes I would undergo and answered my questions with patience and clarity. Her kindness transformed what could have been an overwhelming experience into a welcoming environment. For that, I am profoundly grateful. In those initial moments, I felt a glimmer of hope and reassurance, knowing I was in good hands as I began this challenging journey toward healing and regaining my independence. I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for several staff members who have made my experience here so welcoming, especially considering I have only been here for the weekend so far. My nurses, Shelia, Francis, and Robinson, along with one other nurse whose name escapes me at the moment, have truly impressed me with their professionalism and compassion. Each of them exhibits a remarkable level of dedication to their work and goes above and beyond to ensure that I am comfortable and well taken care of. They are attentive to my needs and have made it a priority to ensure that I never feel neglected. Additionally, I cannot praise the patient care techs, Angel and Lisa, enough. Their support has been outstanding; they check in on me regularly, ensuring I have everything I need and that I am doing okay throughout the day and night. In today’s world, it can be challenging to find individuals who genuinely care for others, but it is clear that Angel and Lisa take immense pride in their responsibilities. Unlike many who are solely focused on financial gain, these staff members exemplify a true passion for their roles and for providing exceptional care to their patients. Their commitment to helping others is a breath of fresh air and does not go unnoticed. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the physical therapy and occupational therapy teams. They have been wonderful throughout my recovery, and I appreciate the personalized one-on-one sessions and engaging group activities. The food has pleasantly surprised me; I initially had my doubts, but the meals are fantastic, thanks to the dedicated dietary team. I’m excited for Monday when I’ll meet the rest of this remarkable team. Their commitment to my recovery has made a significant positive impact, and I look forward to continuing this journey with them.

The food was excellent, albeit in "nutritional" quantities (read that as recommended quantities). Still, very good. Far better than anything I had in the Marine Corps. Rooms and beds were quiet and clean. The staff was constantly monitoring me and asking if I needed anything. Highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs its services.

L Nurse Diana D has a terrible bedside manner and was more concerned about the fact that I vape rather than treating my severe psoriasis symptoms. They do not refill or prescribe controlled substances, another reviewer couldn’t even get her Zoloft here. I was prescribed a skin cream smaller than a trail toothpaste tube. Which was to cover my whole body. She wanted bloodwork done to lecture me over my A-1C before anything else and I am not diabetic OR pre diabetic. I was told I will die if I keep vaping like my grandma died from cigarettes in a very crude manner. Though that is not why I visited the office at all. My referrals to specialist for dire skin concerns and the refills I needed from a psychiatrist didn’t get placed for over a month; though I was out of meds they refused to refill at this office. Complete waste of time and also disrespectful experience.

Gayle Keely I had Total Hip Replacement surgery at Medical City Surgical Center which is an awesome patient facility. However when I was transferred to Medical City Hospital things went downhill quickly. It was early evening and the hospital had no hospital beds available. They also had NO ER rooms with beds available. I was put in a small room in a small metal chair but only one or 2 minutes of care by any hospital employee for a period of 10 hours. I was supposed to get Heparin injections to prevent a clot. There was no water, no movements even though my orders required it. After one check of vital signs there were no more checks in the 10 hour stay in “The Hole”, the ER holding room. I contacted my husband who came to the hospital and talked to the ER nurse, nurse in charge, etc. Within 20 minutes a hospital room was being cleaned and I was transferred in. Once I was in the hospital the care was fine, At one point I needed pain medication at 3:30 am and I was told it was too soon and that I could get pain medication and a muscle relaxer at 4:00 am. At 4:00 I called the nurses and asked for my medications. No one responded until 4:50 even though my pain level was a 7. After several calls I finally lost patience and raised my voice and said that I was leaving the hospital if I did not get my scheduled medicines. The food was generally good and the nurses were kind and treated me well,

Sam Jackson Great experience. I was admitted for 5 days, but the inpatient experience was not so great. My sheets were not changed, i had to call patient rights because it was taking so long to give me food- more than 16 hours after the dietary order placed. Nurses were mostly good for the weekend shifts, week day nurses did not really show a lot of compassion. Cleanliness below average toilet was never cleaned and had to request having my urine removed due to them using a “hat” to stain for stones. Good for emergency care, go elsewhere for impatient care

Jeannette Barnes I went to Huguley ER twice in 2 weeks. The first time it was decided I needed to be transferred to another hospital and was told it would happen within the hour. It took 6 hours all the while they are convincing us to not go to the hospital by private car " because you dont want to start the process all over again. It will take longer" I suspect they could bill my insurance more if we go by ambulance. The second time I was having issues with my wound vac. I had talked to triage so they knew what the issue was. We got there at 5:00. They called us back to a room at 7:05 , 5 minutes after the wound care team left for the night. No one was left that knew what they were doing so another 2 hours later, they put a large plastic band aid on it and sent us home. 4 hours and basically nothing was done and they are charging my insurance plus$150 to me for doing nothing but a band aid. All those hours waiting for nothing, all the while Im very ill. Dont go there when you are sick as you will be worse when you leave.

Deanna Perez I have been coming to this practice for almost 10 years. Dr. Chio is a great doctor, attentive, through, and will actually listen to you. 5 out of 5 stars. There are also select staff members here that are helpful and kind as well, Candice, has always gone above and beyond to help me with my medication/insurance battles. But I have to admit that, like several other reviews, the front desk staff, scheduling, etc. is a disorganized mess and often leads to many problems. I held off on writing a review for so long because of this. Some staff do not deserve even a 3 star rating but its not fair to the others. Every time I have ever called to speak to someone I have been automatically put on hold for ~30min then will be disconnected forcing me to call back and sit on hold for another 30 min. Sometimes if I get disconnected a second time I call the billing department and ask to be transferred to the receptionists. The Drs are good and if thats what youre looking for this place is worth going to but you will have a struggle with the facility itself.

Everyone related to the surgery was friendly and very professional. About 1 hour after the surgery, I was notified of my wife had been placed in a room on 4th floor this required access to Elevator B near the café which was located on the south wing of the hospital. The room was spacious and had a larger restroom area in the room. Everything was clean. The staff in this part of the Medical Center was extremely nice. I really hadn’t been in such a clean modern hospital in quite awhile but this place really impressed me. The food menu had a lot of options and the food tasted really nice. The whole staff keep giving us updates and really seemed to give us up to date information on everything. I would recommend this place to anyone that need surgery. DR. SHANE T SEROYER from TMI that did the surgery was top notch. My wife was actually walking with a walker 4 hours after her knee replacement. Note: they were cleaning the room when I took pictures of the room.
