Randomly found this place online walked in around 10-15 min before their opening time and they were able to take me immediately at 9 which worked out perfectly. Mark Cochran This was my first visit to Trademark Salon for a haircut. The salon is top notch from the start - booking, confirmation and overall customer experience. The staff is friendly and professional and you feel very taken care of while there. David Lowry sat me down and asked me what I had in mind for a cut. We discussed my ideas and David took them and gave me a great cut! In fact, I havent been this happy with a haircut in well over a decade. Thanks for the great experience. Chely Garza Kim was so sweet and bubbly. I was new to the salon, so she took the time to give me a tour around the location and set up expectations for the visit. She asked about my current hair maintenance and any recent trims I have had. She gave me recommendations based on my hair type and styling preferences. I had a good experience, made it so relaxing and welcoming. I’m excited for my next visit back.

Dania Qureshi I went to Kat to achieve some natural balayage! She nailed it!! My color looks subtle but noticeable! I’ve gotten so many compliments! I’ve gotten balayage before and it looked harsh but she was able to tailor her strategy to my hair and the results were perfect! It looks so natural!!

Anna Crain Ive been getting my hair cut with Jessie for around a year, and I couldnt be happier! Shes done an excellent job giving me cuts that work with my natural hair texture and my lifestyle. I dont have to use many products or any heat on my hair, and it looks amazing every time. Im currently sporting a medium-to-long shag with my natural hair color. Shes also friendly and hilarious, and she consistently creates a safe space for her clients. The salon is also beautiful & clean, and booking is super easy. Theres also free parking available right in front of the shop!

Nandita is truly an artist, and you can tell she enjoys it! My family and I have been coming to Hair Corner for years. They always do a wonderful job, and you will not find better customer service anywhere else!

Sarah I just finished getting my hair done! I got baylage, cut, and blow dry. It wasn’t so expensive and they were absolutely amazing! The lady who did my hair was Anne Marie she was so gentle this was for my wedding day so they took such good care of me!!! I called them 30 min after they were closed, he still answered the phone and assured he would call me back and he did! I am so grateful i was able to get my hair done because every where else that is not as good was booked i was afraid i wasnt going to be able to get my hair done for my wedding day but they came through! I can never find a good salon but i finally have with hair corner!

Amanda Huggins I love this place! After overpaying for haircuts for years, I found Hair Corner about a year and a half ago and am happy to say I am now a regular! I have always had the best service with Jorge before his retirement, and most recently with Vivi (who is amazing!!). The owners are super nice and accomodating and Im glad I have a place I can trust with my hair!

Tia Choudhury I have been to Hair Corner a few times for different services and have been very satisfied! For my haircut, I had Jose who did a fantastic job. I am very picky about how I like to have my hair cut and he was very attentive. He made suggestions that would suit my face and I was very happy with the final results. Nandita has also colored my hair and I was incredibly happy! I have never had my hair colored and she was very patient and explained the best options for me since I didnt want to bleach my hair. What I really appreciated about Hair Corner is that they listened to my concerns and made sure I was happy with the results. I would recommend Hair Corner to all my family and friends!

Leah Hendricks Nandita is absolutely amazing! She provided 5 star service from start to finish. Extremely skilled and professional and great prices. I got flawless highlights and a layered cut. She also provides facials.

Desiree Pereira Saul is absolutely amazing! He has completely revived my hair and is helping restore it to a healthy, vibrant condition. He always uses the best products, ensuring no damage is done, and his recommendations for treatments and styles are always spot-on. After a terrible experience abroad that left my hair completely damaged, I turned to Saul, and I’m so glad I did. After just one treatment, my hair started looking lively and strong again. I will never trust anyone else with my hair—Saul is truly the best!

Gaby Vega AMAZING - last minute appointment, amazing and skilled service. I got a haircut, wash and dry. Saul is really knowledgeable and was efficient and quick.

Kathryn Ward Saul is a hair genius. I cant believe what my hair used to look like and what I thought was "good." My hair has grown so much since starting to see Saul about 2 years ago (I lighten my hair). He is amazing and I will not go to anyone else!

Judy Li Saul took so much care with my hair, and did a wonderful job! You can tell he loves his job and takes pride in his craft - which is rare to find these days. It was easy to communicate with the front desk staff when arranging for an appointment time. I’m very happy to have found Saul and his studio, can’t recommend him enough!

Leyla Greenhill The first time I visited, I made it very clear that I didn’t want the length of my hair touched. I specifically asked several times for it to stay the same, ensuring that nothing would be cut. Unfortunately, despite this, my hair was shortened significantly, and I ended up with uneven lengths. Losing that much length was extremely hard for me, as it took a long time to grow, and I was deeply upset, even crying for days over it. What I found most upsetting was that my hair was uneven—something I had specifically asked not to happen. Once I calmed down, I came back today to at least have it cut evenly, so I could regain some control over the situation. However, despite asking again to have it cut to the same length, I’m still left with uneven hair. I truly don’t understand why this keeps happening. He is a really nice person, but this experience has been incredibly disappointing.

Dee Davis Always have a great experience, we go in and let her pick the styles, and its always cute and easy to manage. We mostly do twist and some braid styles.

I russ My beautician is in one of the suites here so of course my beautician is friendly and nice but the rest of the stylist just look at you and dont speak. Very rude and unprofessional

Evelina Williams Kinsla is the best hairstylist I have ever had! All my life I’ve had a difficult time going to salons as I felt that the stylist always cut too much off and never took my wants and needs into account. So, I put off going to the a stylist as I was tired of being disappointed. Eventually, I realized that I desperately needed a professional trim so I poked around on google for a bit and found Kinsla as she had great reviews. Kinsla listened to me and helped me manage my expectations and gave me everything I wanted from a hair appointment. For the first time in my life, I felt that I had found my signature style and felt confident in my hair.

Carmen Greene I got my hair dyed, cut, and styled here and I am in love with my new hairstyle. The salon is clean and comfortable and the stylists who work there are incredibly friendly and fun to engage with. I will be back for sure. This is the first salon I’ve been to since moving to Houston a couple months ago, and I’ve found my new salon! Thank you Kinsla for the excellent job! She was knowledgeable during the consultation as well and made sure I’d get a color I liked that would not damage my hair. Very very happy with my new style!

Diana Benavides It was my daughters first silk press they are amazing! Kinsla took care of her, she was so sweet and advised some hair care options to continue taking care of it. She was so gentle with her hair. The end result was amazing!!! So silky and smooth, flowy and shiny. Thank you so much for making her day!

TaTiana Robinson My experience was not good. I gave two stars because the rest of the stylist were great and very helpful. I booked with Donald. He was over an hour late to the appointment because he forgot about it. He came in on the phone and confirmed with another stylist that I was his client, but still did not greet me nor apologize. Eventually he did acknowledge his tardiness and I was ok as long as my hair was done. The whole time he kept rubbing his penis across my arm which was very disturbing. I had to dang near hug myself the whole time. I went in for a silk press, but only got a flat iron that lasted 1 day. I paid in full and gave a tip, but will not be returning. Donald was very unprofessional, everyone else was great.

Devin Kates Door and google pictures say walk in welcome, I couldn’t even walk in because the door was locked. The one stylist who was there couldn’t take me because she was waiting to get her hair done HOURS before the salon closes. Please DONT advertise as walk ins welcome if that is not the case. Everything you hear online about Houston stylists is true.

Sarena Wright I loved the salon and everyone who worked there. The salon was beautiful and the environment was a great happy vibe. All the stylist are knowledgeable and kind. Jayla and her assistant performed a curly treatment and cut on my hair. They provided me so much information regarding how to upkeep my hair health and what products are good to use. I flew from out of state to come here and I would gladly do it over again.!!! If you haven’t already been here I suggest you run to the site and book an appointment.

Patricia Campbell I decided this salon because of the reviews, but was disappointed. I had an appointment scheduled for 330 w Heaven.. I waited 45 minutes before asking how much longer. The total wait past my appointment was 1 hour. When I got in the chair I wasnt really sure what I wanted but for a 200$ cut I thought maybe the stylist would tell me what she thought was best since its her profession. Heaven then told me I needed a protein treatment which was a 50$ charge so of course Id like to be educated why instead of feeling like she was out for my money. She got an attitude, I had to ask her was she okay before we started my appointment because I assumed what I was paying for came with some kind of information without an attitude. Also I dont want anyone with an attitude in my hair, there was another young lady (employee) that walked up to her while she was washing my hair and asked her was she okay... long story short I left with crunchy curls which I wasnt hoping for 330 was my appointment, didnt leave until almost 7pm. I guess you cant really trust reviews. 3 stars because her attitude did get better but still very disappointed by the service, and the lack of care for peoples time.

Vickie Warner Salon Rose is absolutely amazing. Taylor is the best!!!! She is truly a professional. She does the curly cut on my 15 year old and we could not be happier. Taylor is worth her weight in gold. The entire staff is amazing. Love these ladies!!!!

Jade Jones I have been to Salon Rose four times now. I have had great experiences and results the first three times until today were great. Today I came in for an appointment at 12:30pm with a stylist named Taylor. I came in early around 12pm. Through she was a little over 20 minutes late for my appointment with her, she was nice and professional. I booked a blowout with curls. My blowout didnt even last the rest of the day after my appointment despite leaving with my hair wrapped and with a plastic cap over my head. Within the last 10 minutes, I just took off the wrap and the plastic cap and one side of my head is puffy and looks as if it has just been blowdried. I will be contacting you guys tomorrow morning regarding this matter. I am very disappointed and very dissatisfied with the results this evening because the last time I got a blow out, it was perfect and lasted for days following my appointment.

Jami Gregory Very cute salon with friendly staff, fair pricing compared to the average cost of services, and experienced stylists. Great location near everything in the vintage. I got a partial head of highlights with toner, a trim and wash and style and am happy with my results. Annie did great!

Lacey Labruzzo I have been going to Deanna for the last 3 months for my blowouts and she is wonderful! The curls hold for days and she always get the curl style perfect. Everyone in the salon is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

Shelly Estrada I called and scheduled a last minute cut with Annie two days before my trip and they were able to accommodate and squeeze me in last minute. I believe I called Monday and they scheduled me for Thursday afternoon before closing time. Annie was very sweet and easy to talk to! She did a great job trimming my hair and I have a huge confident boost because of healthy and beautiful the cut looks. I would overall come here again!

Catherine Lopez Adela was amazing! It was my first time here and I need a cut and blow out and from the moment I walked in I was greeted and felt welcomed. I loved the decor! It was so cute and fun! Adela listened to my needs and took her time with my cut and did such a wonderful job with my hair. I will definitely be back for more services!

ThrowJo I came in with a last minute need to get my hair done! Kitty was very nice and actually had availability that day! I went in and we talked more about what I was wanting done. She told me that she was going to work with my skin tones with the color that I wanted. My hair turned out AMAZING It turned out way better than anything I was imagining. I will definitely be coming back for my future colors.

Ibania Valencia Chau and Amanda are the only ones that I allow to touch my hair. Chau is great at cutting my hair, she has a good hand. My hair grows fast with her cuts. Shes precise and gives me advice with all the changes I have throughout the years. After having my hair fried at another salon, I decided to let Amanda add low lights to my hair last year and I loved it! She was precise at giving me exactly what I wanted and not to mention the health of my hair was not damaged! Love them both!

Megan Murillo I got a haircut here about a month ago. It was a very odd experience because I am very basic with how I do my hair. I like blended layers and a little bit of curtain bangs. I tried to give my stylist some feedback. That wasn’t helpful for her I guess? I reached out to the manager for a follow up appointment and she was more than accommodating. However, I had to cancel due to work so I went to another salon for yet another haircut. The second stylist I saw did confirm that my haircut was very crooked, the layers weren’t even, and there were pieces missing like she attempted to add texture but just took chunks out of my hair. We had to take almost two inches off just to fix it. At this point I would like a refund.

Tia Castillo I’ve debated whether to post this review because my stylist was very nice and the overall salon was as well but my hair color did not turn out as expected. My hair turned out very red instead of dark brown. Even my stylist looked at it dry and said shes been having issues with this brand of color the salon uses so if this isn’t what I wanted they can re-do it. When i got home and saw my color under my own lighting it was definitely VERY red. The salon was very accommodating and I did go back for a re-do which was an inconvenience and it did not include a blow dry so I had to walk out with wet hair (not the end of the world but annoying). The color was better but still really not the dark brown I wanted. A lot of my grays in the underside of my hair did not take either. Now seeing my natural roots coming in I can really see how red and off the color was. My hair stylist I go to for my cuts also commented on it saying I had a “hot root” To spend $175 and not be happy sucks. Not sure if it was the fault of the stylist or the brand color the salon uses but either way that’s the basis for review. I’d honestly probably give it a 2 star but the employees were all very nice and the salon was clean and cute so I’ll give it a 3 but definitely would not go back.

Haylee Orozco I booked a last minute haircut with Kiara for the first time back in October and she was super friendly and accommodating. Im always anxious visiting new stylists because of how much hair I have, but I loved how patient and detail oriented she was. And although it was my first time meeting her, we talked like we knew each other all along which is always a great feeling! The salon itself is beautiful, zen and filled with great energy. Looking forward to my next visit! :)

Tracy Kirkpatrick I went in today with a lot of concerns about thinning of my hair and issues with the hairstyle my previous hairstylist gave me. Eric very confidently gave me his opinion based on my hair, bone structure and style. Even though I was fearful to go shorter than the bob I had, I trusted Eric and Im so thankful I did. I always thought I would look masculine with short hair, and I watched myself transform into a much improved version of myself. My face and eyes came into focus, and my hair suddenly had far more volume and shape. Thank you, Eric for helping me out of a hair rut!

Anne KingwoodFitness I went to Eric a little over a year ago for help transitioning from dark brown hair to my natural color which is much lighter with a good amount of gray. He did a great job with the transition color and my hair grew out with grace. It never looked odd or awkward. Now that it was completely natural, I went this week for subtle highlights to give some warmth. He did exactly what I requested with the color, and gave me a great little pixie cut. The salon is beautiful, Eric does masterful work, and I had a lovely time there. Give Eric a try!

Ashley Hamilton First off, this salon itself is amazing. Everyone makes you feel like you’re appreciated and you’ve known them for years. Secondly, hair. I came in not even knowing what to do with my hair. I had box dyed my hair since 2020 and it was a disaster. I truly felt so unhappy and just basically ugly all the time due to my hair and the damage. I came in for service and ended up needing a color correction for what I previously did to myself. Let me just tell you, Taylor handled the situation with such grace and professionalism. I accidentally turned her appt time into like an 8 hour full shift of me. She had to turn my hair different colors to get it back correctly just to fix it the way I wanted. I don’t have words to express my gratitude for this as my hair is everything to me and I let it go. She took her time and even though I took way more time than was intended she was detailed and made sure everything was right. Taylor was incredible on so many different levels and I truly appreciate her work, patience and skills. I literally cried seeing the final product and yes I’m a Pisces (Taylor will get that) but I was overwhelmed with what she was able to do. If anyone takes anything away from this, please visit this salon as all the individuals were absolutely so sweet and amazing and do not box dye your hair anymore!! Thank you again, Taylor!!

gw gottula Wanting to cut my long gray hair but unsure where to go. Had driven by this salon frequently so I called and was able to schedule a late afternoon appointment (with Taylor). We discussed what I wanted (including photo) and she delivered flawlessly. Im so happy with my short curly no muss style! Maddie Spera Got a haircut here back in the fall, and am only just now getting to review this place. My hairstylist was nice and sweet, but thats the only reason Im giving it two stars instead of one. I asked them to reinforce my style of face-framing pieces with layers, and left with a very blunt, terribly blended cut. The hairstylist I went to today confirmed for me just how bad it was (thank god, shout out to Cutloose Salon) and fixed it right up. Would not recommend this salon.

Christina Williams I’ve been coming here for 7+ years and have seen Yesenia every time. For a while there I was living in Midland but would come back to Houston and always find a way to work in a hair appointment. Consistently great service, good sized boutique salon with a customer service/experience focus. Love it here and love their new space!
