Anytime Fitness
Michael Gibson To provide some general context for this review, I’ve amassed 45 years of experience working out in a wide variety fitness centers, recreation centers, and gyms across several states and time zones in the U.S. I also worked at and partially managed a fitness center years ago to help put myself through college. Across this broad scope of gym-based experiences, I’ve not found one that’s as well-managed and operated on a daily basis as the Anytime Fitness location at 5050 Teasley Lane in Denton.
I’ve been working out there three to four times per week since mid August of 2024, and what strikes me most positively about this facility is what it is consistently NOT, what it so regularly AVOIDS BEING: it is NOT a pretentious place, it is NOT overcrowded with look-at-me gym users, it is NOT unclean/unkempt/disorganized, AND it is NOT overrun with people who don’t understand simple gym etiquette (“stay off your smartphone while you’re on a machine” isn’t much of an issue here, which I find to be a minor miracle as we mark 25% of the 21st century elapsing…).
I hope that what Mr. McCleod and his staff have managed to facilitate here can not only be sustained, but can be utilized as an example to other Denton-area gym and fitness center managers.
