Vero I don’t leave bad reviews but I felt the need to because of the lack of consideration and disregard to our request.
I recently took my daughter to Cowboys Nail Bar for a full set and unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the service. The manager/nail tech had a lack of consideration for our request, seemed disinterested and chose to do whatever was easier for her. Our request was short acrylic with black French tip. Due to past experiences with dip, I told the manager we did not want dip (3 times). I expressed how my daughter plays sports and in the past she’s had dip done there and they tend to break easily. However, with acrylic they have not broken. She told me it was fine they would do acrylic. I left to Target and (again) told the manager acrylic no dip. I return and notice she is doing dip. I questioned her and she said “oh acrylic is more expensive” and I told her I understood, but my request was for acrylic not dip. She then told me “ well I can take them off“ (grant it they were almost done) and proceeded to say “these are better and last 4-5 weeks”. I told her that has never been the case and told her if one breaks within 2 weeks I will be bringing my daughter back because she is almost done and my request was very transparent. She then said “well she can’t do anything hard because then they will break”. I told her again how my daughter is athletic and that is the reason I requested acrylic.
They did a good job with her eyebrows.
We have gone before and were hoping for a better experience with the work itself (benefit of the doubt), not realizing how inconsiderate the manager/nail tech was going to be. We left feeling unsatisfied and unhappy with the treatment and results. We will not be returning to this nail salon in the future.
