Brin Mars Kenley is the absolute best!!! She did my color as well as new extension install. The method of extension installation is so seamless compared to other methods and Kenley has it mastered! My color came out perfect even with me giving her little to no guidance on what exactly I wanted!!

Ana Anaaa My husband has been getting his haircut by Sherry and Michelle for at least 10 years. He will not go anywhere else. Sherry also gave all 4 of our babies their first haircut. Both of our sons get their hair cut by them, usually complicated cuts and detailed fades. They are always pleased and do not desire to go elsewhere. Madison Faye let me clarify this review by saying that my hair is one of my biggest insecurities and has been a really long time. Charis was my stylist and she did such an amazing job of making me feel less nervous about going to a salon for the first time in such a long time and she was really receptive to everything I wanted. she did a phenomenal job and I feel so confident and so happy with my hair for the first time in years. if you’re going to studio nine, I highly recommend being serviced by Charis she is amazing!!!

Vivian Morris Went in to see Tyfany Hogue for a spiral perm. I had never had one before but several people on Facebook said she was the one to see. She required a $50 deposit that would go towards the $190 to do my hair. She only asked for pictures of my hair. I did go in to drop off the deposit thinking she would want to get a better look at my hair. I had my appointment on Friday. She used the purple and grey rods. But she rolled my hair layering it on top of itself. I was told later the point of rods is you roll the hair the whole length of the rods... "spiral" and my hair is pretty long. I was told by this other salon lady that my length Tyfany should have piggybacked my hair on 2 rods so that the perm solution could evenly coat my hair. When it came time to wash my hair she used warm water and used the nuterizer. And kind of towel dried my hair and then put me under a hair dryer for 5 minutes and then back to wash my hair and take out the rods. My hair didnt look very spiral. But thought ok first time maybe when it air dryer it will springs up. She put moose in my hair and said done. Sunday comes along I sent her pictures of my flat hair. She said it was probably the moose she out in my hair that weighed it down. And to wash it later and it will spring up. I washed it later that evening. And nothing. It was still flat on most of my hair. Top of my hair had some lift but Definitely not what I was expecting. I tried different things thinking I just wasnt sure what to do with my new hair texture. Wednesday comes around a customer of mine who has a salon I asked her and she said it definitely didnt look right and I needed to reach out to Tyfany. So I didnt Thursday she only asked for more pictures. And told me I needed to wash my hair in cold water. Well I normally do that anyways. And she said I needed to use gel and moose. Which I normally use gel. But now my hair is flat. And 4 inches of my ends are a crunchy mess. Friday after work I went by to see Tyfany. She washed my hair and said cutting my hair in layers would bring the spiral perm out. I said no I do not want my hair chopped off. Another lady at the salon asked if Tyfany trimmed my ends. Tyfany said no. She said next time make sure to trim the ends. That was the only thing she offered to "fix" this. Was to trim or cut layers in my hair. I said no. And that she should at least give my half of what I paid her. She said No she would not. And that she was sorry I didnt like my hair. I replied with Oh, Im sure you are" I walked out. And wont be back to see anyone at that salon again.

Martha Luttrull Kisha gave my daughter her birthday perm. My daughter has extremely thick, long hair and it took forever to wrap her hair but Kisha hung in there and did a beautiful job. She says it is the best perm she has ever had.

Bailey Timms Such an unprofessional business!!!! I got my sons first hair cut here and it was a cute haircut went back for a second haircut and got told to leave by them due to having my mom there. One of the girls that worked there didn’t like my mom so they refused to cut his hair just because she was there to watch him get a haircut! the girl with the problem wasn’t even the one I had an appointment with! I’ve never heard of anybody doing that refusing service because one worker did not like someone!! We came in there polite doing nothing wrong! That is so unprofessional and I’m just amazed on how someone can run a business like that!

Jennifer Adams I had a really bad experience here. I got my haircut from Jacey, who I had 2 previous haircuts with that I liked. I asked for long layers and ended up with bangs, uneven cuts and it looked awful. I reached out to her the next day to let her know how unhappy I was. She asked me to come back in, she tried evening my hair out a little but around the crown of my head it just kept getting shorter. She asked if I liked it, I told her it was better but really just wanted her to stop cutting. I left feeling defeated because my hair was so awful. When I reached out to the owner, she accused me of going home and cutting my hair myself!! The owner was very defensive from the moment I started talking to her. She didnt even ask me to come back in or to see my hair, just kept accusing me of cutting it myself after I left the salon. I cannot believe the amount of unprofessionalism that came from her. I will share my experience with anyone I can from here on. Its one thing to get a bad haircut but a whole different situation for a salon owner to accuse someone who just spent good money at her salon of cutting their own hair. As women hair is part of our identity. My hair was long, needed a little tlc but now Im stuck to hats and ugly ponytails until this grows out, and I paid for that. The lack of accountability disgusts me.

Vanessa Mayo Great little salon! Kelsey Shilling is the owner and experienced stylist. Highly recommend. There are several other stylist that are great. They also have a barber for the men! They accept walk ins. Any one in the Sulphur Springs area should try!

Yuil Solis This review is in regards to the hairstylist Araceli and isn’t meant to reflect the whole salon. I had a very unprofessional booking experience with this woman. First, she said she was available for the date I asked about.. so I replied by saying I’d like to book with her but then I never heard back. I texted her WEEKS after to check in because she never replied. 1st RED FLAG.. but decided to give her another chance. She apologized and asked me to give her a name and phone number. I did. Never asked me what time we needed her or what time worked for her or any confirmation message. Just didn’t hear back again. 2nd RED FLAG. She did agree to travel to our house after texting her again which was the only thing I appreciated.. however, she just recently texted with a “I have things coming up those days, you can find someone else sorry.” .. okay? did she not check her calendar beforehand when asked a month ago? And if something out her control came up, the way she cancelled was not in anyway genuine to me aside from having to chase her down for an appointment. Never booking with her again. It’s unfortunate the other hairstylists at the same salon were already booked before asking Araceli. It’s all for the best though! Rather find someone more professional with better communicative skills.
