I have done highlights, low lights, cover grays, trims, etc. She can do it all to exactly how you want without getting scissor happy and/or give you suggestions if you’re looking to change up your hair style and color! She’s seriously the nicest and the best. Time goes by really fast because we always have so much to catch up on. Her studio is super inviting and I won’t be going to anyone else as long as she’s around!

PkPatti H Individual studios where I see Ramon Silvestre for my hair. Hes the BEST! He makes sure I use the right kind of shampoo for my hair and the color he uses is very gentle. Until I saw Ramon, I had no idea that colored hair could be healthy without costing hundreds a week. My hair is thicker and healthier now than it was when I was on my 20s 30 years ago. KARIN “Karinsandiego” WHAT a cool place. There are many little salons inside this one office. Each person is able to personalize their own space. Be it Hair, Face, Nails, Makeup or whatever professional service. I enjoyed a pedicure. Honestly THE BEST pedicure Ive ever had in one of these beautifully decorated little rooms. The woman I saw is named LE HELMER. Loved Le. In fact, I made advanced appointments with her for the rest of the year. Very very impressed with the whole experience!

Leland Ferguson Rica Polanca is a fantastic hair stylist. Ive referred many clients and family to her. She has no problem dealing with my quickly growing thick hair. Getting to drink coffee and a mimosa along with my cut is over the top. Best therapy ever, not just a cut.

LEIA ESTRELLA Im only reviewing the tan I got at sola salon. I really should hit 1 star. I had a funny feeling and voiced my opinions to her, but she assured me its a real airbrush tan. its Not! at any itan or Hollywood tans your getting a much better result. first of all, the tan she applied was way too light. secondly, I got sprayed at 10:15am. took a shower at 11:50 pm, scrubbed, showered, and when I exit the shower my towel is marked up! WHAT?? 12 hours later, and a 20 minute shower but its still marking up towels?? the next day I took a shower and the rest just came off, lol. so a $30 tan that only lasts as long as the bronzer. just pathetic... and the itching is atrocious! Ive been spray tanning for 14 years. never had an itch. the lady is super nice, but my Vegas trip is totally affected by the horrible tan. should of stuck w what I knew, if you want a good tan that lasts 5 days, mystic or versa ONLY!!

Courtney Craig I have been going to Salon Delgado for years. I wish I had found Sharla when I first moved to San Diego in 2013. Every visit has been amazing! I get my hair colored, cut and extensions installed on a regular schedule and I feel beautiful and relaxed every time I leave the salon! Sharla introduced me to hair extensions and I absolutely LOVE them! I never had extensions in the past because I worried that the hair would be made of low quality, be super expensive and would be unmanageable and ruin my actual hair. The hair Sharla uses is GREAT quality! Do not let the price fool you! I do not think you could get a better quality for the price you pay here. The only time I had an issue was when I used a HOT flat iron on my hair and fried it because I didnt check the temperature even though Sharla reminded me (many times) not to have the temperature too high. My bad! However, Sharla fixed it and I have not ruined my hair extensions since! ;) Being new to extensions, this hair is very easy to work with. I was initially worried how the tape would look, especially since I wear my hair in a tight bun every day, and Sharla showed me how to work with it and the tape has never shown through my hair. Sharla is very professional, personable, patient and caring! Working with her is so fun and easy. She listens to you intently, does exactly what you ask for, and has great ideas and recommendations. I know that if I ever had an issue I can go straight to Sharla and she would make it right in a heartbeat, although I highly doubt I will ever have an issue! I literally could never find a better stylists/salon! There is no way anyone could possibly have anything negative to say about Salon Delgado unless you are straight up ignorant!

Haylee Carlson I had the best experience at Salon Delgado! I have had horrible hair extensions at other places and these are the best i’ve ever had. It’s only been an hour and i’ve received so many compliments on them! Taylor and Sharla were very welcoming and kind. The confidence boost went through the roof when I left, thank you again!

Rachel Burton Salon Delgado is by far the best salon I have ever been too. Sharla has worked magic on my hair and I can’t thank her enough. I’m a natural brunette and being blonde is not easy. Both are exceptional hair stylists and colorists ! I’ve done it all to my hair...every damaging thing you could imagine in the past . Bleach , darken , flat iron ... then bleach and go back to dark some more . They educate you , use top quality product and never damage your hair . They have saved me from home root touch ups gone wrong ( thanks covid ) , and always give me practical advice on any hair inspiration pictures I bring in! I get constant compliments on my long healthy hair thanks to Salon Delgado . He is a true professional who understands his clients without the need for long explanations. He perfectly selects a haircut that suits the shape of your head and performs coloring at the highest level. The results always exceed expectations! I confidently recommend Igor to my friends as an excellent stylist you can trust without hesitation.

Vacations by Peggy My sister in law and I made blow out appointments with curling iron add ons because we are in town for a wedding. Let me start by saying her hair came out great - mine, just average. What I don’t get is the price. My sister in law’s stylist was clearly way more experienced than mine and we both have long hair but hers is 10 inches longer than mine (my hair took half the amount of time as hers) yet the owner/manager charged us $65 each for a blow out. When I checked out the hostess told me my the curling iron would be an extra $10 which seemed reasonable since my stylist spent about 5-10 minutes doing it. But then the owner/manager came over and said it was actually an extra $25. I immediately questioned her because at most you could call my “curls” waves - they looked nice but I did not leave with “wedding hair”. Of course I was too nice and gave the stylist a $16 tip. So basically I spent $101 to have kind of nice hair from a salon in a strip mall. I live near NYC and am used to pricey salons - but they don’t charge $65 for junior stylists - and when you pay $100 for your hair you look like you did. I should also mention my hair is very easy to style because it keeps its shape extremely well. I go to the salon once a week because my blow outs last that long and keep shape until day 6. I never need hair spray either. So I have easy hair to style and I’ve had 1000s of blowouts in the last 30 years. I know what I am talking about. In summary its a nice salon but totally over priced (based on who you get). Be sure to ask in advance or the owner/manager will surprise you and you will feel frustrated the way I do. Please note my sister in law - with hair down to her waist - who was with a senior stylist - and was charged the same as me for twice as long - left with hair that looked like $100. It unfortunate that the owner/manager let us walk out like that which is why I decided to write a review (something I don’t take lightly). This review is not about whether or not my stylist did a good job - its about the value of what you get for the cost - which I don’t think is consistent - and the owner/manager should probably address if she wants customers to return and recommend the salon.
