I followed them from where they used to work to their new location, which is their own business, because of the quality of their work, their friendliness, and their punctuality. Cara Truong Niki has been doing my manicure for a few months now and had been helping transition from acrylics to a healthier option using gel overlay. I really love the results and how healthy my nails are looking. On top of that she is a wonderful person. The appointments are longer than what I am used to but it is worth the extra time. She really makes sure that she takes her time and gets the best results possible. She takes pride in her work and makes sure your nails leave looking beautiful every time.

Izrah Tan I have never had a Russian manicure or pedicure before until I came to see Niki at Forging nails salon. I love the attention my cuticles were getting, considering they’re always dry from constantly washing my hands in the hospital. Niki’s attention to detail in each step of the process is amazing. She looks closely at your nails to see if she missed a spot. To top everything off she gives you the most relaxing sugar hand scrub. I’ve also had Russian pedicures done and again, great outcome with sugar scrub massage at the end, all while being on a massage c. Wether you’re getting a Russian mani or pedi you can be sure to get great service. The salon itself is very neat and unique. It’s different from any salons I’ve been. It has an urban chic feel to it. It’s clean and quaint. From the looks of it, she has an enclave she sterilizes all her tools after each use. The salon offers many beverage options from water, coffee, tea, wine, champagne, beer, and soda. Niki is super friendly and sweet. She makes sure you’re very comfortable during the entire time. She’s very hospitable which you won’t always get from a lot of other salons. You won’t get ignored the entire time either. The services are well priced for what you’re getting. This is not your quick stop nail shop. These services are very detailed and will take longer than the regular mani pedi. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the pampering.

Alma Villanueva After a long and stressful week at work a manicure and pedicure was exactly what I wanted and WOW am I happy I found this salon! They had a Valentines special that included all the upgrades on a manicure and pedicure like extra massage, paraffin wax, hot stone massage, scalp massage, shoulder massage, collagen wraps for hands and feet with 2 hot towels, masks, and sugar scrub. It was absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend Natalie enough. She gives the best massages and is so very sweet. I felt very welcomed by everyone there and will definitely be back soon. If you are wanting to get your nails or toes done head to the Pink Pearl on Ronald Reagan you will be so glad you did. The do also offer other services like waxing for face and body, eye lash extensions, and eye lash tint. Natalie Bogue I rarely write reviews, but I’ve been going to Pinky & Co for almost a year and I have never left disappointed! It’s such a calm, quiet, and friendly place; no TVs on the walls and the playlist is always on point! They work mainly by appointment, which means I schedule when it’s convenient for me and I never have to wait. I have been getting my nails and lashes done regularly and even got a facial recently. Everything has been fantastic! Today, I picked a color that wasn’t what I wanted (it just looked different against my skin tone than I had envisioned). After just one coat on one nail, Christina knew it wasn’t what I wanted. She picked a different color that she knew was closer to what I wanted, and then added a slightly pink top coat to make it PERFECT! You can’t go wrong with Hang, Chau, or Lyna either. They ALL take their time and the pride in their work shows every time!

I remembered seeing the sign before they opened and the like most people I forgot about it until I started looking for a place near me. I booked online with Grace and the booking process was easy. Waking in, I immediately loved the decor. It felt mid-century modern. Clean and not over done. I like the set up. And while getting nails and feet done at the same time is a bonus in other places, I appreciated that I had my hands and feet done separately. It was more relaxing and felt more like a self care day. And every time I see Grace, she is funny and pleasant. Not only does she do a fantastic job, but she is good company. I love coming here.

I feel terrible after the damage this place does to me. I will never return here and I hope they close that terrible place soon.

Beverly Owen One of the worst haircuts I have ever had. the sides arent even. The approach he used to cut my hair was sloppy and I dont feel it was professional, I felt like I was his first customer ever and he didnt know exactly what he was doing. I will never go back and I will never recommend this establishment. I paid way too much money for the poor job that I received.

I was informed that SNS does better with Acrylic before the SNS which will help make the nail stronger. I will have to try that next time. I appreciate Mary & Michael for there cleanliness salon, and being so kind to not only me but the other customers in the salon. I would highly recommend this salon. ***Expect a wait time unless appointment scheduled ahead of time*** Monday 6/13/2022 at around 2pm was when I paid for the service I had received which was gel pedicure and SNS manicure which I paid $80 + trip $96. I feel like I wasted money! I was convinced by the lady nail technician to try SNS instead of Gel because it "last longer" and "its better for your nails" "more expensive" but its worth it. I was told more then once I wont be disappointed. Tuesday 6/14/2022 - Last night before bed I notice 1 of my nails was cracked. Wednesday 6/15/2022 - Morning I noticed the second nail cracked. After cooking dinner I noticed the third nail cracked and the same nail that cracked Tuesday has now completely clipped the "fancy SNS". ***Keep in mind I wear disposable gloves on a daily and most of the time I will wear double layers to help protect my policy thats on my nails. Another note is because it is more sanitary in my field of work to wear gloves. So I wouldnt say I was hard on my nails at all.***

Whether I request designs or simple solid colors June and Bryan do a fantastic job! I’ve gotten acrylic nails from many different places and these are by far the best. They grow out beautifully, rarely do I have a broken nail and I’ve never lost an entire nail, that’s a testament to the amazing job they do! She’s so kind and welcoming. The salon is clean and inviting and thankfully June was able to do my nails as a walk in. Kate Really unsure how this business has such a high rating. I am so disappointed! It was my first time here so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I got a pedicure and a manicure (dip powder) pedicure looks great, but the dip powder on my fingernails is horrific. Tons of little bubbles everywhere, some of them are already lifting and it not even a week old yet, and my right them nail is so lumpy and uneven, my nails were also filed very crooked and uneven. Will not be back nor will I recommend this place to anybody. Only reason I didn’t give them a one star is because the pedicure wasn’t bad at all.

D. Nicole (Nicky D) I’ve been serviced here 2 times. The first time was a pedicure and the lady wasn’t that friendly (didn’t smile and seems inconvenienced) the service seemed rushed/short. When she asked to give a 5 star review she started to smile and be nicer. This place is in a convenient location so I decided to go back. This time I got a pedicure and gel manicure. It was a favorable experience. However less than a week later my gel pedicure started to chip. I went back to get a nail fixed (this week) and was greeted with unfriendliness. They fixed my nail, and I went on my way. Now 5 days of me getting my nail fixed the same nail is chipping and another nail is chipping. A smile goes a long way, friendliness goes a long way. I doubt I will go back just for the sole fact I felt they didn’t care for my service and the quality wasn’t to my liking.

I usually get them waxed at the same place I get my nails done. But this was 10x more gentle. Pain level was no more than 2/10 throughout the process. I will be back!

After having had a not-so-pleasant bikini wax at another local salon one month prior to my first visit at Clean Slate in 2022, I was a bit nervous. Kaia Oberg Not my usual place, but I had a gift certificate. When I came in and they asked me to sit down the gentlemen next to me (one of the employees ) was playing His game at full volume on His phone. As she started my nails she didn’t do any cuticle clean up or check for hangnails and jumped straight in. She was letting the powder sit without brushing and it stained my fingers, her solution at the end was to take the electric file to my skin and shred my skin. The edges of my nails are bumpy and fingers are all dirty. As I was leaving she made the checkout process super confusing and was asking me to tip her. I have never left without tipping, but as she rushed through my service and didn’t take her time I wasn’t paying for her time. It took her less than 30 minutes which at any other place it takes them at least 45 min-1 hr. It is definitely more of a convenience place and I won’t be going her again. Her name was Jenny so it may have been just her style and not the whole salon. There are many other shops with better service & cheaper price in town.

I’ve searched for 3 years for a nail tech in Georgetown after moving from austin. Especially if you’re looking for acrylics, but also good quality pedis This salon is honest and doesn’t nickel and dime you!!!! A little over a month ago Micheal did my pedi and talked me into getting my nails done. He HAND PAINTED my French and it was perfect and even on all 10 fingers. Then I went back for a fill with 4 broken nails (not his fault I work with my hands and I’m rough) and they were all symmetrical when he finished. Then this time yesterday I had just one broken one (went on vacation and the luggage won) and all perfect and symmetrical. He takes his time yall. He uses the drill a little but he lays that acrylic so perfect and hand files to the shape I want. He’s patient and we collaborate on colors and design and he doesn’t make me feel bad for it. My last 3 sets have been so consistent and I’m so grateful I found him. I read my book while he shapes and then we talk when it’s time to paint. He’s been doing nails for longer than he wanted to admit and started in California. Speaking of book, the first time I saw him I accidentally left mine AND HE WALKED OVER TO HEB TRYING TO FIND ME so he could give it back cause I said my husband was picking me up there. Now, pedicures. I’ve been coming here monthly since we’ve moved here 3 years ago. Doesn’t matter who you get they take such good care of you. Even my sister who lives in Bastrop waits to get pedis until she visits. Yall. Dont miss out on this salon. You won’t regret it. I’ll add photos to my review as we approach holiday season and I’m excited for my holiday designs as Micheal chooses them!

Scott Smith - Wealth in Real Estate Cindy and July were amazing today. My daughter and I went in for pedicures this evening. I like to treat her once in a while and I like pedicures too. The massage chairs felt so good. They gave us some drinks and some snacks and some excellent conversation along the way. Very cool ladies. A N I don’t know how this place has all of these 5 star reviews. I’ve barely had my nails (acrylics/gel x) for two weeks and they’re already coming off. But that’s not what this review is about. I wish I could remember the tech who did my nails, but I think I just blocked her out entirely. Word of the wise, maybe don’t make fun of your client’s features? Or REPEATEDLY address them?? Can’t believe this needs to be said, but this is exactly why I shy from going to salons. I was in a car wreck and half of my nails broke, also I naturally have small nail beds- this tech would NOT stop saying how small my baby nail beds were and kept laughing about it. Also she applied two nails on crooked because of some useless light lamp contraption she was using vs. the full curing device. I don’t know why I even stayed/tipped. Also again, can’t believe this needs to be said, but don’t speak with your coworker/buddy in a different language and gesture to a customer then fake smile and say “it so prettyyy”. Right. I am a linguist by trade and speak four languages. I would NEVER speak a language someone doesn’t seemingly know in front of them, very clearly talking about them. It’s tacky and unprofessional. You’re in an English speaking space. If you are going to tell your coworker something about the client or the work you’re doing on the client, you can say it in the language the client understands- or not say it at all. Your salon is why nail salons that aren’t predominantly English speaking have a bad reputation. The quality, the service, the repeated addressing of flaws that I CANNOT CONTROL are why I will never go back here again.

Christy Conlan This is my favorite nail salon ever. The whole team is great and Tay is a nail wizard that does the cutest nails that I get lots of compliments on. I love this place.

Grace Yi Honestly the experience at the store was not that bad. Everyone was receptive and kind. They helped each other put and handled a crowded salon well despite only having 5 members on staff. However, I got a gel manicure on 1/2, went to sleep and I awoke with my French tip chipped and a stone missing from one of my nails! Am kind of disappointed, as I spent a pretty penny here and tipped everyone who worked on my nails (both pedicure and manicure).

julie kravchenko Tay and her team at Alina Nails do amazing work! I have been to a handful of salons in the area and Tay is the only tech i keep coming back to. Every few weeks, i bring in a picture of something I would think may be challenging, but she never disappoints. She has such a warm personality and gets to know her customers on a personal level. Shes very meticulous and detail oriented with her design work. The whole team does their best to make sure their clients are comfortable and happy. I would give them 10 stars if i could!!!
