5 /5 Alexander Brodhead: Katherine and Kristin are amazing and the environment at Neon is one of a kind. The studio has a very exclusive feel in comparison to the stereotypical open beauty/nail studios. I have been getting my nails done by Katherine since she started in July 2021, and she is incredible! Not only is she extremely talented, she is focused on the health and wellness of my nails. I have gone to my fair share of salons, but the quality of work here is unparalleled.
I previously had regular acrylic and dip acrylic nails, but I have loved the switch to gel. I have had less issues with gel manicures than I ever did with dip or acrylics. I have had both Gel-X and Structure Gel manicures. My preference is Gel-X, however I have had issues with my nails where Katherine advised against getting them until it resolved. Structure Gel has been a great way to focus on nail regrowth and healing.
At first the appointments seemed long, but it is easy to pass the time chatting with Katherine and Kristin. Appointment length is dependent on what you want in terms of polish and level of art. I suggest asking Katherine if she has any ideas she wants to do. Multiple times I have gotten amazing nails from her ideas.
I cannot recommend Neon Beauty Studio and specifically Katherine enough!
