Noah Gioiosa Went in for a simple dust shield replacement. They had my car for over two weeks with no communication about what was happening. Not to mention that they have to leave cars unlocked so "windows dont get smashed" but it lets looters just go through cars. I had to have been ripped off. They charged me 265$ for a part that looks like its 25$ online plus the hour and change it took to change it. Unbelievablely bad customer service and predatory practices. Would not recommend

Jake Gioiosa I wouldnt recommend C&B Auto to my worst enemy. This review will cover two things: long repair time and not locking the cars they work on. To begin, I brought my car in for a simple rear passenger side dust shield replacement. This is something i would normally do on my own but Im not in my hometown and dont have the usual amenities to fix it. Anyways, i called C&B before deciding to bring it there and they said it could be done by the end of the next day, perfect! I bring it there, wait the entire next day....nothing. I call the next morning and not done, all good no worries sometimes a time estimate is wrong i get it. However, this pattern repeated for the 2 and a half weeks, i was carless for 2 and a half weeks. I called a total of 5 times, each time getting another excuse to be late. Although the mechanic was short on hands he never gave me a good estimate on when my car would be done and didnt seem to ever give me priority or care even though i called so many times voicing that my car isnt done yet. This is only the beginning though. Heres the real kicker and is why you should NEVER GO HERE. I finally go to pick my car up, i was upcharged and i was just ready to leave. I open my door, "hmmmm thats strange, mud all over and a ripped up piece of paper with a toilet scrubber underneath it." I grab whatever the hell this is and hand it to hiim, he says "oh yeah we dont lock our cars, so bums like to rummage thoruhg them." EXCUSE ME, an establishment that works with other peoples property and also takes the keys for said property DEOSNT LOCK THE CARS. I would like anyone reading to know that when first brining my car in i saw a sign that said something along the lines of "dont leave any valuables in your car. people have been known to smash windows." So careful reader, does that to you sound like "oh we dont lock the cars, so anyone can go through them" NO IT DOESNT. That to me sounds like if you have your purse on your seat, well lock the car but we cant guarantee someone wont break in. So I dont decide to take anything out of my car because the only things you can see are my ice scraper, two stuffies, and a blanket zipped in a plastic bag. Back to my car, the center console was rummaged through, the back seats all had been put down, mud was covering the floormats, the cupholders were thrown on the ground, the headrest had been removed and then put back on, I know it had been removed because a stuffed rabbit keychain i keep on it was taken off and you can only do that if you take the headrest off, and my windshield scraper was fully extended. What was taken was all the coins in my center console, a box of tissues, hand sanitizer, and a blanket my recently passed mother had made for me that i keep in the back. Overall not much financially stolen, but emotionally it was so draining to have to go through this. Please never let anyone you know go to C&B auto, they dont care about your well being or your personal belongings. They never consider the emotions of their customers. I would like to save as many people from the emotional turmoil that i had to go through having to deal with C&B, so please DONT GO HERE.

annie plummer Had work done on my car. Was beyond pleased. Brian was very nice and professional. Explained everything, price was affordable I did not feel as if I was being robbed. Completed job in a timely fashion. Job well done. I have found a new repair shop. 100% satisfied. Feel blessed a friend referred them.

Cooper Che This is THE BEST auto shop you’ll find in Syracuse. I went to Firestone just for a vehicle inspection, and the guys there hit me with a $3,800 estimate to pass the inspection. I couldn’t afford that, so I brought my car to Bob’s Garage. A few hours later, Bob told me I’d better bring a bag of money. I thought, "Shit, it’s probably cheaper than Firestone but still at least $1,000." But guess what, it only cost me $10!!! That’s right—just $10. Ever since then, I’ve been a loyal customer at his auto repair shop.

Shawn Wharton This place is a time machine...in a good way. Dude is a character for sure...if what hes saying confuses you in any way, chances are hes messing with you. I was just getting an inspection and he told me to have a seat (behind his desk) and told me to get to work writing up work orders and sorting parts. When another customer came in, I had to explain "I dont actually work here, lemme get the guy." When he came in he said "sorry about my assistant here...he cant seem to keep up." Hahaha! I could do without the pro-Trump pro-gun dumb signs & posters, but hey sometimes we see things differently. After I paid we sat and talked for a few minutes before he had to get back to work. Dude is a legend...support local business!

Deanna Parker Chrysler Treasure Auto did what multiple Firestone locations couldn’t do. They took the time to really figure out why my car was vibrating so much. I have had my car balanced multiple times at a few Firestone locations with continual shaking…like really bad. Jim continued to update me on the progress. They took the wheels off and said there were weights placed all over and in really weird places. They rebalanced as well as changed my rear brakes which I knew needed changed as they were wearing unevenly and had a lot of rust, but Firestone kept telling me they were fine. The proof is in the pictures. Thank you so much to Jim and others that worked on my vehicle. Best service I’ve received in a long time and one of the best prices around. You have gained a customer for the life!

A bit of background: My car overheated while driving home on the turnpike in NY to Ohio, on a Sunday. I called my insurance company to get a tow - 1.5hrs later they indicate that is a restricted zone and to call state trooper. I wound up calling the nearest Pep Boys where I had planned on taking it to see if they offered tow service, which they did and it would have been nice if they offered that on my first call with them. Needless to say got dropped into another queue - now worried that it was approaching 3pm on a Sunday and most repair shops would not likely service me the same day. I then found this repair shop that was open until 7pm. I called, explained my issue he indicated to bring the car in and he could work on it. The (independent tow truck company I found through the Warners gas attendant) was curious why I chose this shop out of the others. I said, I need to get home yet today, and they were willing to work on it on a Sunday. Mohamed and his family team treated me so kind, he quickly assessed the issue (water pump completely broken), quoted me a price, and went to work. It was a Very fair price and they even went the extra step to check my oil and give me an oil change at a small price and fix my darn dashboard light from being forever on! It goes to show that no matter where in the world you are, regardless of neighborhood, income, nationality etc.... There are truly good people/mechanics in the world. Crystal Trostle These guys are absolutely wonderful. They fixed the exhaust pipes on my nissan frontier after one of the pipes broke. My truck is quiet now and has more pep when hitting the gas. I do believe he undercharged what he should have, so I gave him a pretty good tip for it. I definately recommend using these guys, I know I will definately be going back. I thought I needed so much work done to my car (a different shop quoted me over 2k) and bringing it to Chris he let me know what ACTUALLY needed to be done and it was no where near the 2k I was previously quoted. Shay Jones Today was my first day hearing of Davco Performance Automotive. Lets just say I will be a returning customer! Linda was so sweet and helpful! Around 1:20 P.M. I contacted the shop asking if they were able to look at a car because it broke down and was leaking fluid. I told Linda my location, she told me I was around the corner from the shop. She assisted me with putting fluid in the car over the phone so that I could make it to the shop. Once I arrived at the shop the had the car fixed within a few hours. Other places couldnt get me in until next week. The prices are unbelievable! Best prices in town! On top of all of this, they also stayed open past their closing time to install windshield wipers for me at an unbeatable price! I will definetly return and tell all of my friends and family about the wonderful service that I received! Thank you so much!

Leslie Fuller I was in an emergency situation. Called them on a Saturday to tow me out only a foot! Was forced to let them take my card as I was with a police officer. They ran my card without my permission for 272! I had to find my way to their shop and then in order to get my credit card back I had to sign the receipt without authorizing the $272 charge as they had already ran my card without me being present. I then had to sign the receipt in order for them to give me my card back.. They took advantage of somebody who is out of state and an emergency situation. All they had to do was pull my car out 1 foot. My car was only a half mile down the road from their shop.. Why charge $272 I understand 150 this is ridiculous to run a card without the owner being present that’s illegal.

When that failed, he offered to come to my house!!! Never had such genuine care and honesty from a mechanic that wasn’t family!! The whole group of guys there are amazing!!
